Pentagon non-lethal weapons?

A very interesting document of the military department of the United States of America, which was originally developed for internal use by the government and which contained data on the development of weaponscalled "non-lethal." It was assumed that it should not be used to destroy enemies, but to establish control over them.

The list was published on the Public Intelligence website, which had previously posted on its pages the secret documentation of the US government related to ensuring state security.

This list contains more than a hundred pages on which a description of a large number of various types of weapons is presented, among which are systems using sound waves, heat rays and even lasers, with the help of which you can not only disperse the crowd, but also disorient enemy military equipment.

The document presents not only detailed descriptions, but also suggestions for improving both existing weapons and plans to develop completely new technologies, which previously could only be read in science fiction literature.

It should be noted that some ideas are very reminiscent of fantastic weapons, taken, for example, from the Strugatsky brothers 'Inhabited Island ”book - a book in which the authorities influenced the residents' consciousness with the help of radiation.

Experts say that such a list was published with a commercial purpose, which is pursued by the US military and which requires large financial investments. A submitted document was developed by one of the departments of the Pentagon, known as the Joint Directorate of Non-lethal Weapons. Recall that the activities of this structure have been repeatedly criticized for excessive spending on projects that have not been completed.

The date of the creation of this organization was 1996 year (the organization was created after the hostilities in Bosnia and Somalia). The main purpose of its creation was to ensure the supply of the armed forces of the United States with non-lethal weapons. Through 13 years of work, in 2009, the management of the Office provided a report according to which about 50 million dollars was spent during the 400 research, but this department could not provide a new type of weapon.

According to James Lewis, an expert on military technology from the Center for International and Strategic Studies, this structure is designed to come up with a new method of dealing with the enemy without using old proven methods, such as explosives. So far, there is no certainty that a new weapon will be created, but the published list is a confirmation that developments in this direction are in full swing.

Even in spite of the fact that the administration has not yet been able to prove the need for its existence, military practice clearly indicates that the American army needs just such non-lethal weapons.

For example, during the military mission in Iraq, the most common problem that arose among the American military personnel was the need to use firearms even when not only Iraqi militants, but also Iraqi civilians tried to pass through checkpoints, not responding to stop requirements.

Side effects of non-lethal weapons

The published handbook not only provided the characteristics of all types of such weapons, as well as the possibilities of their strategic use, but also described possible side effects of their use.

So, for example, when using an underwater pulsed gun directed against enemy divers, a sound wave arises, which negatively affects a person's hearing, instantly causing nausea and complete disorientation in space.

For comparison, in the same film “Inhabited Island”, residents who did not fall under the influence of radiation experienced hellish physical pains.

It is assumed that the use of such a pulsed gun, which is under development, may adversely affect the underwater flora and fauna.

The document also deals with an even more interesting type of weapon, for example, laser modification of a stream. If you believe him, then the laser is quite possible to use, if necessary, to destroy the aerodynamic flow around the enemy's aircraft, forcing him, thereby, to change the direction of motion.

The list also provides information on such developments as devices with the ability to influence the muscular system of people using an electrical impulse and equipped with microwaves. Dronescapable of causing power outages on ships. Also described are portable systems capable of emitting microwaves and using them to stop enemy equipment, as well as a system that makes people feel incredibly hot, as a result of which they are forced to move to another place.

However, in the Pentagon prefer to otpalivatsya about whether this document is authentic or is it just a clever fake.

Moreover, it is known for certain that the Pentagon has long been conducting tests of laser weapons, during which it was proved that such weapons are fully capable of destroying real targets. Similar studies on the use of lasers in combat conditions have been conducted since the 1970-ies, the very first samples were based on heavy chemical-pumped lasers, which resulted in the release of gases that are hazardous to health.

In the past few years, the bulk of work has been directed towards the improvement of laser weapons, during which compact optical radiation generators, similar to designs using light-emitting diodes, have been used.

Until recently, this type of lasers was used exclusively in anti-missile defense systems, as well as to destroy ground targets. However, after the ship used as a target was destroyed with the help of such a laser, it became clear that such a weapon has much wider possibilities.

As for the non-lethal use of laser weapons, they began to use it as early as 2010 in prison facilities in order to suppress possible prisoner riots.
It should also be noted that lately psychological weapon began to use and the Russian special services. In the course of suppressing a protest rally in December, people gathered on Triumph Square tried to disperse with an amplified sound similar to the one when the microphone is too close to the receiver.

The operators of the TV channel “Rain” managed to capture the moment of the inclusion of this “weapon”.

Everything is clear, the Pindos decided to use psychotronic weapons. This is terrible since I personally would not call it non-fatal. I would rank him as a weapon of mass destruction.

The only thing that can be stated is that a weapon does not kill immediately.
But what changes in the body can occur after use during the year or how does the human disease statistics change after using this weapon in a given area?
If the Americans have such information, they are not really trying to make it public.

Take a closer look at the video. If I put the microphone in the speaker, it will be the same. Now any matyugalnik can be considered a weapon.
How much Pindos dough spent there?

like a "stinky" bomb was being developed to disorganize the enemy, like one "molecule" hit the tongue and gobbled like a bucket of shit

Matyugalnik can be considered a weapon.

Even the Germans in the war were engaged in research in this area. After the war, almost all the achievements came to the United States. Maybe this is an echo of the war?

Yes, these are old fairy tales, they’re exaggerating their weapons in words, but in fact a complete bullshit

Sounds cool but I'm a skeptic. About 10 years we will definitely fight in the old fashioned way

This new weapon could become more dangerous than a nuclear bomb. It is still developing. Humanity is shuddering ...
