Oh sport, you are the world! To the opening of the "Army Games-2016"

30
Once upon a time I was present at interesting sports competitions. Something like "Dad, Mom and I are a sports family." Interesting competitions. Diverse. On all organisms, so to speak. But in the final - full-time meeting. Dad with dad, mom with mom, children with children. The apotheosis of the competition.

And everything would be fine, maybe I would have reached the final. Only my dad was there. Sports. And large. Of course I would have played darts with him or played in bowls. Even chess checkers could. Something just got sick after he had a hot-water bottle ... No, I didn’t break like a Tuzik. He inflated it to rupture the body. Not mine or yours. Warmer body.

And I remembered this story because today in the "my" place are many military and political figures of the West. In Russia, the Army International Games-2016 (ARMI-2016) started. Russian invention. Fueled from tank biathlon. And today it has become a grandiose military-technical holiday of international scope.

Two weeks, from July 30 to August 13, in Russia and Kazakhstan there will be competitions for military personnel in various military-applied disciplines. 19 countries representing all continents except Australia and Antarctica put the 121 team on the 23 species. The most well represented teams are Russia, Kazakhstan and China. This is understandable. Host countries and one of the leading countries in the world.

Tank biathlon was and remains the most spectacular sight. On the rights of the "father" of the competition, he occupies a central place in both the military and the spectators. The skill of a soldier combined with powerful equipment is always fascinating. But one should not detract from the interest in other types of competitions. Especially for professionals.

What is ARMI-2016 from the point of view of a military man? And in terms of civil?

For the military of all countries is not just a competition. It is also an opportunity to compare the training of their own soldiers and soldiers of other armies. “In own juice” is problematic. Due to the difference in the armament of the units, due to the small number of units, for other reasons.

In addition, samples of equipment are put up for competition, which for the majority of armies is just a dream for now. And the development of such equipment, even if a limited composition of soldiers, is already a success. Past games have shown not only the capabilities of the armies of the participating countries, but also the possibility of illiterate use of tanks. Everyone remembers tank crews somersaults. The loss of "footwear", rolling down slides and "narrow" passes for some crews through the "ravine", "deep" to "I can not" fords.

The third, and probably the most important factor for the military, the opportunity to meet with real opponents is not in battle, but in competitions. Alas, but ARMI is a war game. And those who are obliged to go to war with the enemy in certain situations participate in them. Engage in a battle for life and death.

Among the teams that will strive to win, there are those who most recently looked at others through the net of the sight. These are teams from Armenia and Azerbaijan, China and India. But it has long been known that the military can agree among themselves much faster than politicians. Death for soldiers and officers is closer than for politicians. And the military knows the price of life. More precisely, they know how weak a person is. How easy it is to take his life.

But besides those who participate, there are others. Those who look and see. Yes, this is also the task of games. To watch and see! Observers of almost all European armies, Americans, British, all are already in competition. Even those who so far are “no one in world politics”, but quite possibly will soon become “everything” there.

Sometimes questions arise. Questions for those who are interested in the "entertainment" of the competition. Why not T-90? Why Shoigu "spares" "Armatu"? Why did the Chinese "hide" their TYPE 99? Everyone knows that these cars are far from those that are exposed to the competition. So why?

Yes, simply because those machines are involved, which are now in service. The main tanks. Those that will fight. And those that are currently “in perspective” do not need to be shown. Everyone learns. Everyone learns the techniques and methods of operation of this technique.

And what are we? Those who want to watch the real struggle of the crews, offices, maintenance crews, groups? But for us it was a fertile time. Competitions for all tastes. From scouts to repairmen. From snipers to sappers. From tankers to drivers BMP. For all tastes and any viewer.

I catch myself thinking that I am waiting for the competition more than the Olympics. Maybe this nasty scuffling around our team affected. Or maybe they just got tired of watching how the competitions are “judged”, how instead of honest struggle there is a struggle of politicians. And maybe youth is remembered.

But most importantly, ARMI-2016 is a show of what and, most importantly, who can face the warriors of those countries in whose traditions once or twice a century to gather for "hunting for the Russian bear." The real implementation of the Olympic slogan! Oh sport! You are the world! Just because lovers of war will actually see the "torn heater". And not Tuzikom, and the crews, offices, teams, groups.

I wish our teams victory! I will personally go to support ours at the Rembate. Far from my military profession. But it is important! Competitions for men performed by men.

Oh sport, you are the world!
oh yes ... Pierre de Coubertin, three times in a coffin turned around ... the very word "sport" has already been messed up to the point, let's really not refer to "Army competitions" as a sport, or else we'll go far ...

Unfortunately, this slogan is decently discredited by the efforts of Western politicians ... sport is now politics.

A military biathlon smile firmly established in RUSSIA ... excellent ...
we need to promote our world .. all that can bring us benefit to implement.

It's a pity these competitions are not shown on TV at least on the Star. Ours are still ahead of everyone except for the "Airborne platoon" there Kazakhs are still in the lead

I don’t like refereeing in a tank biathlon .. as soon as the Kazakhs come forward in the final, they are constantly stopped for various reasons, the last time because of the walkie-talkie. So two years in a row already. It would be better if they performed on their T-72UBs and themselves served without letting anyone.

In general, yes, it is interesting that the teams would speak on their technique. Auto racing is for example carried out on their cars.
And of course, I would really like to see comparative rides and firing of tanks of different generations from manufacturers of different countries in the form of demonstrations.

a similar desire, I don’t even want to watch the Olympics in Rio, they will probably be judged just like they were allowed to play

The IOC has proposed to ban army competitions on the pretext of lack of evidence of non-doping by participants. But he withdrew his proposal as soon as Shoigu personally promised to bring all the evidence. And in the fastest way - on Tu-160, Su-34, T-72B3M and other "transports", accompanied by polite athletes from the Airborne Forces.

I don’t know how everyone is, but personally I am for allowing the NATO troops to participate in the competition on their equipment. And there will be more entertainment, and their nose in the morning, and - most importantly - let SAMI themselves be convinced of the superiority of our technology, the aggression will take off like that by hand.

Do you think they will begin to disassemble the floor of the tank to dismantle the optoelectronic aiming systems? Judging by the ANNA News reports from Syria at the initial stage, the Syrians preferred rifled guns of the T-55 and T-54 tanks because of their accuracy, but the T-72 could not boast of the accuracy of the shot, it may also be due to the wear of the trunks, so, if Leopards 2 arrived with Reintmetall guns it would be interesting to see their firing

the T-55 has a very good and accurate rifled 100mm gun. he would have to make shells with remote detonation so that it would be possible to detonate the tank tower. well, or at least with an electromagnetic sensor, like on anti-tank mines, from above all tanks are poorly protected. and bunkers and bunkers can be beaten from a great distance. the gun there is very good and accurate. therefore, the Syrians love this tank very much, and not only the Syrians. I know a lot of people. adults ... well, in the sense of 20-25 years older than me (I am 42) who are now ready to fight on the T-55. the main thing is that the crew should be united. Leo 2 also has a good gun. accurately shoots. in our army they are in service. but the tank itself is huge and expensive. Cypriots well done, they drive on the T-80U and they have BMP-3. and we have one trash on mainland Greece. only on the border with Turkey are Leo 2, and so basically the first ones and the M-48 are a lot (well, this is just the same age as the T-55), but .. by the way, we got shells for Leo 2 only this year, and we have them 12 years without shells were. (BPS) only those that stood at the border somewhere 20 cars were partially equipped. and the remaining 12 years, like ordinary tractors, were driven to the landfill. but they have a good gun, although of course inferior to the T-90A in power. yes in range of a direct shot too.

Ever since the athletes, trained for a lot of money, were allowed to participate in the Olympics, business has settled there. Politics is not separable from business. As a result, the Olympic sports games turned into political games before our eyes.
May this cup pass "Army Games -2016." Let's cheer for our team!

Well, by the way, by its very essence, the objective of the Olympic Games was to grow up healthy youth, who would then join the army and tear everyone on the battlefield. Then, after all, there was no special technique. Physical development played a big role. Now the real Olympic Games according to ancient traditions (i.e. the creation of unique fighters who will win the battles) is just what Shoigu came up with. Namely - the symbiosis of man and military equipment. Sport as such is needed only as an additional measure - before preparing for military service. That’s why the Olympic Games today are mainly aimed at civilians for entertainment and hacking dough from sales of drugs and accessories for sports.

Personally, I am more interested in army games, there are no politics, money and suicide. The Olympics have turned from a sports festival into some kind of show with undercover wrestling like Eurovision. Let those whose hands itch to fight with what they will have to face in Russia look, we will tear like a tuzik a heating pad without meldonium and WADA.
