This modernized modernization of the T-55 will increase the combat power, the damage caused, will expand the targeting characteristics and will significantly improve the ability to detect and track the target.
For example, a rocket fired from the Kornet ATGM could hit a remote target with a reservation of up to 12 centimeters at a distance of 5.5 kilometers.
The panoramic sight will allow the tank commander to duplicate the functions of the gunner and increase the effectiveness of anti-aircraft fire.
Works on tank protection were performed:
- built-in dynamic protection;
- modern fire-fighting equipment;
- the use of smoke grenade launchers;
- New camouflage coating;
- installation of onboard screens of different dimensions is possible.
Improved running characteristics of the tank due to the processing of moving parts and replace the engine. It is proposed to install a diesel 700-strong engine.

As an additional, previously unused opportunity to improve the T-55 tank, the designers made the tank floating.
