The South African company OTT Technologies has teamed up with the Brazilian Agrale to develop the Agrale Marrua M27 (4 x 4) Light Armored Patrol Vehicle (LAPV) armored vehicle, which was first shown at the African Aerospace and Defense in September of the 2012 of the year.

By the beginning of the 2012, two Agrale Marrua M27 LAPV pre-production machines were manufactured, one in South Africa and one in Brazil.

Serial machines can be produced in any country, depending on customer requirements.

The Agrale Marrua M27 (4 x 4) LAPV is primarily intended for the overseas national security market, where there is a need for a LAPV patrol vehicle. Typical tasks offered by OTT for this machine are operational management, patrolling and escorting.

In essence, the car is an Agrale Marrua AM200CD (4 x 4) off-road vehicle chassis, equipped with a M27 four-door armored cab, designed and tested by OTT Technologies.

The standard car Agrale Marrua is currently produced in Brazil and in addition to being in service with the Brazilian army and several countries in Latin America.


Agrale Marrua M27 is primarily intended for internal security forces, which require a highly mobile patrol vehicle, and OTT Technologies offers typical operational management, patrol and escort tasks.
The car is offered with a four-cylinder diesel engine MWM Sprint 4.07 TCE Euro 3 horsepower 140 hp. or a four-cylinder diesel in-line engine Cummins ISF 2.8 Euro 5 horsepower 146, coupled with a manual transmission Eaton and a single-stage transfer case.

The stated maximum speed is 100 km / h; With a tank with a capacity of 100 liters, the maximum power reserve is 1000 km.

The base car is offered in both right-hand drive and left-hand drive configurations; has a crew of four or five people depending on the location of the seats. In the first scheme, the commander and driver sit in front and two passengers behind them.

The cabin provides ballistic protection against small-arms fire. weapons and jet grenades; bulletproof glass provides situational awareness on all 360 °.

Round loopholes for shooting are available in the front and side windows; in the cabin of a closed version installed air conditioning.
