At Eurosatory 2008, the Israeli company Hatehof Industries demonstrated for the first time two armored vehicles: Navigator - an 16-ton machine with enhanced anti-mine protection (MRAP) and an 4XXXXXXUM wheelset XNXXXXXUMX wheelset XNXXXX4; Hatehof Industries was founded in 16, became public in 4. It is one of the leading manufacturers of high-quality products in Israel, having passed successful combat experience, and also acts as the main supplier of armored vehicles to the IDF and other armed forces. For example, in cooperation with Rafael, the company produces a wheeled armored vehicle under the authority of the Israel Defense Forces, the 4-ton Wolf.

Xtream armored personnel carriers and Hatehof Navigator

XTREAM is a 16.5-ton (heavy version) vehicle developed in patrol, anti-tank, reconnaissance and medical vehicles. It was created on the basis of the Turkish 4 × 4 BMC Sanayi ve Ticaret AŞ car and is driven by a CUMMINS ISBE 275 turbo diesel engine with an 271 hp power. at 2100 revolutions per minute and maximum torque 950 n * m at 1200 revolutions per minute. It has a maximum speed of 100 km / h and has a cruising range of 700 km. The armored car is equipped with an Allison 3000 SP automatic gearbox and an Axel tech BT 600 transfer case. It is able to overcome the ford in the 1.1 meter, the lateral tilt of the 36 ° and the 60% rise.

The Xtream is equipped with a composite, all-welded body made of armored steel and aluminum and can accommodate up to 8 people in full gear. This machine is also offered in a light, 9-ton version (with anti-rifle protection). weapons), and in heavy (with protection from small arms, improvised explosive devices and armor-piercing bullets). By car can be installed a set of dynamic armor to protect against RPGs. In both versions, the bottom is protected from land mines and grenades.

In addition, Xtream is equipped with controlled rear wheels to improve maneuverability, as well as a rendered combat module. When cornering at low speed, the rear wheels are deflected to the opposite side of the front wheels, and the car turns on almost any patch. The heavy version has a turning radius of the entire 6.4 meter (without turning the rear wheels - 8.6 m), and a light 5.1 meter (without turning the rear wheels - 6.9 m).

The lightweight version of Xtream weighs 9200 kg (total weight) and carries a payload of 2750 kg. Its level of protection is lower than the heavy version, but higher mobility, overcomes the 38 ° side tilt. It is powered by a Cummins 6,7-liter turbodiesel with a six-speed Allison 2000 SP automatic transmission and a BHM-MH4 transfer case.

At Eurosatory 2010, Hatehof introduced the modified front end XTREAM. The new 4X4 armored vehicle is designed to carry up to 4,6 tons of payload or seven passengers. Unlike converted commercial vehicles, XTREAM uses an armored capsule carrier in a rigid structure that carries all other automotive components. This capsule provides basic protection, providing a third level of ballistic protection in accordance with the STANAG 4680 standard and the 2A / 2B level of mine protection.

Hatehof also offers “B-Kits” to enhance capsule protection against mines, small arms and IEDs up to level four. Additional protection against RPGs and improvised explosive devices is possible through an additional layer provided by the "C-Kit".

Hatehof and Elbit Systems have joined forces to demonstrate the new car with the new Elbit Systems dual-turret equipped with dual types of weapons (Dual Remote Weapon Station, DRWS). It provides stabilization in two planes, placing two types of weapons simultaneously. Its main weapon can be an 40-mm automatic grenade launcher or an 12,7-mm heavy machine gun, an optional 7,62-mm machine gun, or any type of alternative lethal or non-lethal weapon.

XTREAM also demonstrated combat command and control consoles, as well as integrated life support systems, including protection against weapons of mass destruction, an air-conditioning system, automatic fire extinguishing, and an auxiliary power unit (APU). The armored vehicle also carries an IED-tested interference generator, EJAB, developed by its subsidiary Elisra. Data on the adoption of XTREAM into service has been reported.

Armored personnel carrier Hatehof Navigator

The Navigator armored personnel carrier was also manufactured by Hatehof Industries based on the BMC Turkish chassis. A new family of cars was developed to meet the specific requirements for a high degree of protection and high mobility. Navigator, having a heavy construction with a high degree of protection, is capable of carrying an entire infantry unit (up to 15 fighters in the ranks or 12 soldiers face to face, as well as a crew of three sitting in the front), while offering high off-road mobility and urban maneuverability .

With a gross weight of 16 tons, the Navigator can carry up to four tons of payload. The car is driven by a Cummins 275 or Cummins 350 engine.

The car has 2 doors on the sides of the cabin (for the driver and crew), a hydraulic ramp in the aft part and an emergency exit on the roof. The hull is protected from splinters and small arms in accordance with the STANAG 4569 standard 3 level, and the V-shaped bottom is protected from land mines and improvised explosive devices in accordance with the STANAG 4569 standard 3b level.

Navigator participated in the Turkish tender for the purchase of armored personnel carriers with mine protection. In connection with the latest cooling in relations between Turkey and Israel, the latter will probably have to look for other platform providers for these armored vehicles. Nevertheless, during the hostilities against the forces of the Kurdish Workers Party in Iraq, the Turkish army used Kirpi armored vehicles manufactured by the Turkish Navy company from Izmir. In fact, this is a naval version of the Navigator developed by Hatehof, which previously used the Naval Chassis for the Navigator. Under the December 2008 contract worth 115,65 million euros, the Turkish army ordered BMC 468 machines for Kirpi, the first 37 of which were delivered 31 in March 2011 of the year, and only about 70 units should be manufactured before the end of the year.

And the Swedes were begging for airbags with Volvo to install. The front end is designed with safety in mind for pedestrians. SUVs.

Yes, and you too, comparison table Mistral, San Antonio, WASP fellow

As for Renault, the manufacturer reports on the possibility of installing such a kit, but does not specify anywhere exactly how this happens. I don’t want to engage in speculation. I’ll immediately post the information.

445 mm for the city and the desert just right, and the dirt he sits not because of ground clearance, but because of 16 tons.

M-yes, next SUVs. It’s too early for our BeTeRs to retire. But the engines from CUMMINS bribe. We would have such a technique, but our production.

The type of car is a guarantee of functionalism. Probably a good reconnaissance and patrol car. Israel can make high-quality armored vehicles. Move MTOs and fuel tanks to the super stern. We ride horses on our armored personnel carriers.
