It was under these requirements that the manual grenade launcher GM-90 was developed in 94-ies by the Tula Instrument Design Bureau. The grenade launcher system has a caliber 43 mm.
Purpose of GM-94:
The GM-94 manual grenade launch is used for:
- ensuring the cessation of the conduct of aimed fire by the enemy in open spaces and in the interior;
- disabling the greatest number of enemy personnel in urban environments, limited spaces, mountainous areas;
- temporary disabling of enemy units using specific ammunition (blinding, smoke screen, fire);

The hand-made grenade launcher of the Tula designers turned out with a minimal unmasking effect - the quiet sound of a grenade shooting, the complete absence of a fiery flash of a shot. GM-94 is completely safe for the grenade thrower when firing in open areas, in confined and confined spaces, and various vehicles.
The grenade launcher is made according to the 12-mm “Lynx” caliber shotgun. The gun “Lynx” is also a proprietary development of Tula designers. Entered the series in 1995 year and has successfully recommended itself in the market.
The grenade launcher is reloaded due to the physical effort of moving the forearm with the barrel forward. This arrangement made it possible not to use a sliding bolt, which ultimately made it possible to reduce the weight and dimensional characteristics. With the help of side lugs and a mirror of the receiver, the barrel is locked. The barrel is located under the tubular magazine, which increases the stability of the entire grenade launcher during the firing.
The magazine’s equipment is mounted on top of a grenade launcher, making it easier to equip GM-94 ammunition. The spent grenades from the grenades are given down, which is very important when firing in enclosed spaces.
The trigger mechanism is self-cocking, which allows the manual grenade launcher to be in constant combat readiness during use.

- grenades irritating effect of 93.200 and UGM 93.300 of UGM create intolerable conditions for the enemy, forcing him to feverishly leave the defensive fortifications. The impact area is up to 100 square meters in open spaces and up to 300 cubic meters indoors;
- shock-shock grenades XGUM 93.400 and XMUM XGNUMX neutralize the enemy with minimal damage to health;
- training grenades VGM 93.700 and VGM 93.700 are designed to train the use of a grenade launcher in any conditions.
