"Invisible Cap" will hide even a submarine

"Invisible Cap" will hide even a submarineScientists have embodied fabulous dreams into reality and invented material unusual in its characteristics.

This time, American scientists made another discovery - they invented the fabulous Invisibility Cap. Its authors are the wizards of the University of Texas at Dallas. According to media reports, the inventors, apparently, read the famous novel by HG Wells, and interpreted it in their own way, creating an “invisible cap” on the basis of carbon nanotubes.

Ali Aliyev from the University of Texas, the inventor of the material “invisible” says: “We used the high thermal conductivity of carbon nanotubes to make an“ invisible ”material, taking the effect of mirage as a basis. This effect is formed when the sun's rays beat off from the boundary between layers of air with different densities. In the same way, when a person in the desert sees water, which will be only an imaginary image of the sky. He will not be able to observe any object that is located behind the “stealth cap”, but some kind of imaginary image. ”

The transparent “cloth” of nanotubes invented by the Aliyev group quickly heats up under the influence of electricity. Due to its ability to conduct heat well, it creates a large temperature difference around itself, during which a mirage effect arises. The “invisible cap” of nanotubes can be “turned on” and “off” if necessary. Best of all, the principles of the new “invisible web” are demonstrated in the water.

Ali Aliyev says: “You can practically cover anything you want. In any optical range and using electric current or electromagnetic radiation, this effect can be quickly turned on or off if necessary. "

the author does not fumble, because the submarine is not visible under water anyway))

In fact, they are ahead only for the reason that they buy brains from us and print bucks. There are simply no other reasons.

The development is, of course, interesting, although it will not bring much benefit. Hiding a target in the optical range, such a "hat" will simply shine in any thermal imager - aim with pleasure!

so similar to a "duck", there was an invisible plane, but the Serbs did not know, now the F 22 is even cooler, though not in Libya for some reason

And so they did not need to apply it in Libya. What for? But it was necessary to say what was used. And to questions why they did not see the answer - "so invisible is the same."

I wonder if this new product will go into a series.
