What will happen to the Yak-42?

6

The Yak-42 was very rarely recorded in reports of incidents, compared with numerous aircraft of the domestic period. Over the past 30 years, the entire 9 of Yak-42 airplanes has occurred, as a result of which there should be no doubt about their reliability. Professionals believe that aircraft due to air crashes should not cease to be used.

However, in June there was a plane crash near Petrozavodsk during the landing approach of the Tu-134 airliner, which belonged to RusAir. In July, the An-24 was to make an emergency landing on the Ob River. After that, the President of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, demanded that these aircraft be no longer used for regular routes. As a result, the Ministry of Transport had to introduce this ban, which will be effective from January 1 2012.

It can be assumed that the government will decide to take similar measures against the Yak-42 liner after the crash in Yaroslavl. The crashed aircraft was operated from 1993 onwards, and the certificate of validity was to end on October 1 on 2011. The liner, which crashed, belonged to the firm "Yak Service", offering services for charter, as well as VIP-transport. The Yak Service fleet included the YN-4 40 aircraft and the YK-1 42 aircraft.

Professionals believe that the operation of the Yak-42 liner should continue. The Yak-42 is the latest development of the Yakovlev Design Bureau, and was released at the end of the 1970-s. Thus, we can confidently say that the Yak-42 is the newest in the year of development, as well as the commissioning of all the aircraft operating in modern times, from the Soviet period. This is noted by Roman Gusarov, who is the editor of Avia.ru website.

Roman Gusarov notes that the Yak-42 can be attributed to the average category of liners, since it has an average capacity and range. The Yak-42 is smaller in size than the Tu-154, Tu-134, as a result of which it occupies a niche between them. A total of 183 machines were produced, and 100 continues to be used both in Russia and in other countries.

According to the official information of February 2011, the Yak-42 is operated by the following firms: Kuban, Saratov Airlines, Gazpromavia, Tulpar-Air, Cubana, Grozny-Avia, Tatarstan, Armavia.

So, the Yak-42 refers to medium-haul three-engine liners. It was created specifically for the company "Aeroflot" in order to replace the Tu-134, IL-18, which are already outdated by that time. Yak-42 began to produce at the Smolensk aircraft factory, and then continued production at the Saratov aircraft factory.

Yak-42 - liner, which almost never got into the reports of incidents. The aircraft is of high quality and reliable, so for the 30 years of operation of the crash occurred just 9 times! In this regard, the sanctions against the Yak-42 liner should not be imposed. In addition, it is currently unknown for what reasons there were plane crashes.

The first crash of the Yak-42 occurred in June 1982. After this event, the liner ceased to be produced, but after two years they continued production. The accident was able to identify an error that was made during the design (fatigue failure of the stabilizer permutation mechanism, as a result of which control was impossible). This error was corrected, but for this I had to change the design of the Yak-42. From 1982 to the present day, only 9 air crashes occurred, and the accident in Yaroslavl is taken into account. In a plane crash, 562 people died. In 1992, the airliner crashed, as there was a hardware failure. In 1990, the accident occurred because the crew made a mistake during the approach. In 1993, 1997, 1999, and 2003, a crash occurred because the Yak-42 collided with a mountain during difficult weather conditions.

The fact that the operation of the Yak-42, which had fallen, continued from 1993, does not mean that its technical condition was poor. It is important to note that in the secondary market in foreign countries, the operation of liners can continue after operation, the period of which has exceeded 18 years. Operation of the liner for 30-40 years is possible, and it is recognized in every country of the world! However, it is required to replace some parts in which the operating resources for the flight hours are limited. Thus, if the maintenance is correct, the aircraft can be operated for 40 years.

Does the Yak-42 have flaws? The biggest disadvantage is the problem with the economy. These liners do not meet the requirements for fuel consumption, as well as for the emission of harmful substances. In addition, the Yak-42 does not meet the new requirements for the number of crew (the aircraft is calculated on 3 crew members, although nowadays liners must pay for 2 members - the commander, co-pilot).

Usually, airlines replace liners that have not yet developed the resource of their own exploitation, but because their further use is economically inexpedient. Experts note that aircraft can be replaced if they have to invest more in their operation, compared to the cost of buying a new airliner.

Currently, if the government prohibits the operation of the Yak-42, then replacing it with a new Russian airliner is not immediately possible. At the moment, the Yak-42 has only one analogue - Sukhoi SuperJet-100. However, it is impossible to replace the 53 Yak-42 operated in Russia by Sukhoi SuperJet-100 aircraft. If the pace of production of SSJ-100 is small, then the capacity to replace all the Yak-42 airliners may not be enough! For example, in the 2011, only the 3 of the Sukhoi SuperJet-100 liner was produced.

Vladimir Prisyazhnyuk noted that 2011 SSJ-8 should be released in 100, 2012 in 28, 2013 in 42, and 2014 aircraft should be produced annually from 60.

Among foreign aircraft, analogues of the Russian Yak-42 are currently Boeing 737, as well as Airbus 320. In addition, an analogue of the Yak-42 can be called An-158, but at the same time with a stretch. Due to the fact that the new foreign technology is very expensive, the Yak-42 can be replaced only by used aircraft.

Currently, the demand of the Russian market for new liners is estimated at 1300 liners, and this will last until the 2020 year. At the same time, only 2010 aircraft were produced in 7 (1 liner Tu-214, 2 liner Tu-204, and 4 liner An-148), and at the moment production has not started. According to official data from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, only one SSJ-6 was released over the 2011 months of the year, as well as one Tu-100.

Well, what is incomprehensible. A bear knows about airplanes like I do in ballet. Whatever falls, you have to ban it. Although it turns out that the plane didn’t even work, it worked as it should. Obviously, someone wants to smuggle SuperJet-100 and western flying scrap raw materials. And at the same time to ruin their aircraft industry.

it’s about the money, ballet has nothing to do with it, but the prez understands this
decided to change it to Boeing, the company is not poor and, most importantly, it is not greedy for bribes

An interesting project of the non-existent An-154 aircraft. If An-158 was meant, then he is a direct competitor to the Superjet and is as foreign as the first. It’s just that Russian components are assembled in the form of an airplane in Ukraine, and on a Superjet, European components are assembled on an airplane in Russia.

Medvedev forbade the Tu-134, An-24 to fly .. It’s impossible to replace a large number of planes right away, what to do with foreign recyclables? It feels like they didn’t know that the fleet was catastrophically outdated .. As always, we will not let the rooster peck .. Okay, we drove the superjet, they want to launch ms .. But what about the Tu-204,214,334 or Il-114? So many new aircraft developed by the end of the Soviet era, the beginning of the Russian period — build, buy peacefully and fly to health .. And now the slogan will support the western manufacturer ..

Automobiles even more often get into accidents .... Of course, they must also be prohibited!
