The Chinese military has tested the latest fifth generation fighter. On one of the local news sites appeared the first images of the aircraft in the air, made by amateur photographers.
In the pictures, which published the news portal 163.com, the fighter is flying with the landing gear. Pictures of the aircraft, called J-20, appeared in the press not for the first time, but its official photographs have not yet been made public.
In the pictures that were available earlier, J-20 was captured in the parking lot, as well as on the runway of the factory airfield in the Chinese city of Chengdu, Sichuan province. His first images appeared in December last year and all were of rather poor quality, RIA Novosti reports.
The reality of the photographed aircraft was confirmed aviation experts. In addition, the existence of a new Chinese fighter was confirmed by US Secretary of Defense Robert Gates. He talked about the plane during a conversation with American journalists on the eve of his visit to China.
