At the military parade in honor of the 65 anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, for the first time, the general public was shown a number of the latest military equipment models, including the Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile and gun complex developed in the Tula State Unitary Enterprise “Instrument Design Bureau”. Moreover, Tula not only created this ZRPK, but also managed to organize its production.

“Pantsiryu-S1” today pays great attention both in Russia and abroad. After all, it is designed for air defense of small military and administrative industrial facilities and areas from airplanes, helicopters, cruise missiles and high-precision weapons, as well as to strengthen air defense groups when repelling massive air strikes - to cover long-range air defense systems, such as the C-300 and C-400.

The implementation in the complex of rocket-artillery weapons with high tactical and technical characteristics of the adaptive control system in various combat conditions puts the Pantsir-С1 among the most promising high-intelligence weapons of the 21st century. ZRPK has two double-barreled automatic guns and 12 hypersonic ground-to-air missiles. Such a complex near zone of action, as "Pantsir-С1", is not in any army in the world.

The ZRPK is mobile, it can be placed on both wheeled and tracked chassis. "Pantsir-С1" can work in three versions. First, as one self-sufficient combat vehicle, which independently detects, accompanies and destroys the target. Secondly, as part of a battery in both master and slave mode: one of the machines detects and distributes targets for destruction, because when there is a massive raid, it is important to prevent multiple ZRPKs from firing at the same target and missiles empty. The third option is when a combat control unit is attached to the battery, which distributes targets, thereby increasing the effectiveness of their defeat.



In addition to airplanes, helicopters and cruise missiles, the cannon armament of the complex can also affect lightly armored ground targets. In ammunition ZRPK 1400 cartridges, when firing (for 3-4 line at the target) uses a complex mathematical calculation - shooting at a pre-empt point.

Deputy Air Force Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Federation for Air Defense, Lieutenant General Sergei Razygraev notes the high combat qualities of the “Shell-C1”: “Missile weapons can be fired at a range of 1200 m to 20 km from the near border, and almost 15 m to 15 km in height. Cannon armament - practically from zero to 4 km in range and up to 3 km in height. It is important that the complex operates in automatic mode. This is his main mode, because in the conditions of the transience of the battle, a huge number of striker aviation and accordingly high-precision weapons for a person, no matter how well prepared, it is very difficult to understand the situation and make a quick decision to destroy a particular target, to perform all operations. Therefore, a machine for a person thinks and makes decisions. A target detection station is capable of detecting and simultaneously tracking up to 20 targets, issuing target designation on target radar systems for guiding and tracking targets and missiles (can accompany up to 8 targets) and automatically launch 2 missiles for each target. It is possible to work in semi-automatic mode.

In Russia, a decision has been made to develop all classes of weapons in all categories, including the short-range and short-range ones. "Pantsir-С1" - the brightest representative of this class. "

But the theme "Armor" began to be developed in the Design Bureau of Instrument back in 1990 year. Unfortunately, post-perestroika time was not the best period for the Russian "defense". It came to the point that, for example, at the famous Tula Arms Plant at the beginning of the dashing 90's, wages were given out with products - rifles of their own production. Well at least hunting! However, the ideas of Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, mastermind and the main creator of the complex, scientific director of the state-owned unitary enterprise "KBP" Arkady Shipunov so overtook their time that even a ten-year "restraint" did not prevent them from becoming a completely new development, which reached the most advanced positions in the world and was successfully demonstrated at the exhibitions "Eurosatori-2006" and "MVSV-2006".

Yes, the military-industrial complex of Russia has suffered great losses over the years - both personnel and material, but most importantly it has preserved the scientific and technical potential for growth and conquering new heights. The parade of the 65 anniversary of the Victory in Red Square instilled in the "defenders" of the country confidence and hope that the most difficult is over. The main measures for the transition of the Armed Forces of Russia to a new level, for the creation of a modern army should be completed in 2010. To increase the combat readiness of the troops, a new weapon is needed, without which the new look of the Armed Forces is impossible. By 2020, the Russian Army’s arsenal should, by 70, consist of modern weapons and military equipment models, the Russian president recently set such a task at the Defense Ministry board.

Speaking at a ceremonial rally dedicated to the transfer of 10 combat vehicles to the parade calculations of the Russian Air Force X-NUMX combat vehicles ZRPK Pantsir-S1, scientific supervisor of the State Unitary Enterprise KBP Shipunov noted that the release of new complexes is a whole event for both the industry and the country. Arkady Georgievich emphasized: “As a representative of the older generation, who still remembers the Great Patriotic War, I understand and understand the role and importance of the technical level. And the victory was achieved not only by courage, not only blood shed on the fronts, but also the creation of new technology, in which we did not yield to the end of the war, but surpassed the enemy.



Our system is designed to repel the first and most striking aerospace strike. From this we must draw conclusions. Of course, we are honored and proud that we, I mean all participants: industry and the army, will walk across Red Square on Victory Day. But we must not only be proud of the achievements, we must see what we still have to do. And we have to do a lot. First of all, the fine-tuning of the system, there is such a good, beautiful word in the defense industry. This is the elimination of all shortcomings, shortcomings that are identified both in production and in operation, be it design, technological, production. The second is to see the prospects for improving the system, increasing its characteristics.

And in 10 years, it will be a complex with even greater capabilities, and it will serve our army for a long time. To the young people who will exploit it, I wish them to master the complex.
