During the meeting, no one asked Sergei Ivanov, who was sitting right next to the prime minister, why, in fact, the arms program failed, which was developed not in the "dashing 90s", but in well-fed zeros. Of course, the money disappears due to corruption. According to rumors, the cost of kickbacks at the conclusion of contracts for the production of weapons reaches 30-50 percent of the total cost. It is no coincidence that law enforcement agencies collectively ignored the attempt to create a State Defense Proposal, an agency that would conclude contracts instead of them.

However, this is not the main problem. The problem is that under the leadership of Vladimir Putin and Sergey Ivanov, a parody of the Soviet military-industrial complex was created. The branch ministries of the USSR revived in the form of corporations: aviation, shipbuilding and others. In fact, this is still the same collective farm where one more or less efficient enterprise feeds a dozen half-bankrupts. At the same time, money for the maintenance of these half-bankrupt is laid in the cost of the supplied military equipment.

In addition, until now, no one has thought about the need to recreate the production system of the element base. Dmitry Anatolyevich can arbitrarily long demand that all communications in the Armed Forces move to a “digit” before the 2012 of the year (despite the fact that now 85 percent of the equipment is analog), but there will be no sense from this. Because the production of beautiful radio stations, which Medvedev demonstrated, can be established only abroad. In the same way as the production of the successors of the long-suffering GLONASS, in the end, Russia went all out to impose India. It is curious in what country are going to produce owls now. secret communications for the Russian army? Or in what state are they going to acquire the element base for them? In America ? And maybe in China?

In fact, so far no one is going to seriously solve the problems of the domestic military industrial complex. He remains a source of money for corrupt military officials. It allows you to keep afloat hundreds of enterprises that should be bankrupt. The only thing he cannot do is provide the Armed Forces with military equipment that they really need.
