Results of rearmament-2012
2012 year was for the Russian army a time of total rearmament. The most obvious reason is that over the past two decades, the number of new weapons in the Russian armed forces has decreased to 12 percent. A lot is planned by the government, but according to the results of 2012, it is obvious that this process is far from completion. We offer you the analysis of military equipment that has already entered the troops.
First of all, it should be noted that the armament of the missile units has undergone a significant upgrade. The acquisition of strategic missile forces with modern missile systems and complexes was carried out by a quarter. By the end of last year, the transfer to the mine-based Topol-M missile complexes was almost completely carried out in the Tatischev missile compound (thus, the 2013 complexes were in service with the 56 year).
The first Russian military unit that fully transferred to the Topol-M and Yars mobile complexes with intercontinental ballistic missiles was the Teikovsky unit of the rocket forces. It must be said that the new mobile-based Topol-M and Yars complexes are much more maneuverable, have more traffic, and are equipped with the best means of disguise.
Last year, the rearmament of the Novosibirsk and Kozelsky units of the Strategic Missile Forces, which will also soon have to be transferred to the Yars complexes, was also launched.
Thus, by the end of the past year, the armed forces had one hundred launchers with the Yars and Topol-M missile complexes, increasing the percentage of modern weapons in the rocket forces to 30 percent.
Entered into service with the Russian troops, in particular the 26 of the Neman Rocket Brigade, and the Iskander-M missile system (taking into account further supplies, it is assumed that this year the Russian army will have about 70 such systems). This is one of the most effective complexes of its kind, which is significantly ahead of its foreign counterparts. Till 2020, the supply of 10 Iskander-M complexes to the troops is planned. The total number of complexes that the Russian army will receive before the 2020 of the year is 120 units. It should be noted that for serial production and supply of the required volume of Iskander-M OTRK last year construction began reconstruction of the production capacity of 17 specialized enterprises.
In 2012, four divisions of the S-4 Triumph anti-aircraft missile system entered service with various parts of the Russian army. Thus, currently in the Russian armed forces there are five S-400 regiments, which are deployed in Nakhodka, in the Moscow Region, on the Baltic navy (Kaliningrad region) and in the South-Eastern region. The S-400 is intended to replace the S-300PM on combat duty. This complex is significantly superior to the American Patriot system and has no analogues in the world.
Also in the spring of last year, the Russian armed forces received the 10 anti-aircraft missile gun systems Pantsir-S. It is a self-propelled short-range ground-based complex, which is designed to cover military and civilian objects from all possible air attack weapons.
In 2012, the rearmament also affected the Russian fleet. Both submarines and surface ships were launched.
So, currently at the stage of testing is the nuclear submarine "Severodvinsk". Severodvinsk is a multipurpose boat equipped with both cruise and strategic missiles that are capable of striking submarines and enemy carrier groups. A fourth-generation nuclear reactor is installed on the ship. One of the innovations is the rejection of the propeller, which allows you to get rid of the gear with gears, and this, in turn, allows you to get rid of noise. An electric motor came to replace the gearbox, and the propeller was replaced with a jet. In addition, to achieve invisibility by the enemy locators, each boat mechanism is equipped with a self-noise suppression system.
However, in the late summer of last year, information appeared that the boat had not passed the test due to problems with the nuclear power plant, which does not provide the specified power. In addition, the noise level is also not provided. Thus, Severodvinsk can enter service with the Navy no earlier than this year.
Passed factory tests and the invisible corvette "Boyky", built on the "Northern shipyard" in St. Petersburg. Its mission is to conduct operations in the near sea zone and to combat submarines and surface ships of the enemy, and in addition, it must provide artillery support for the landing force during the landing naval operations. The ship was built using technology "Stealth". During its construction, solutions aimed at reducing the physical field were also used. Thus, radar visibility was significantly reduced. However, the Boiky has not been adopted yet due to a delay in the delivery of artillery mounts, namely the Universal A-90 artillery system of 100 caliber of millimeters.
In August last year, the Russian Navy received the Dagestan rocket ship, which is based in the Caspian Flotilla. In its construction was also used "stealth" technology. The ship is equipped with special equipment that helps change the magnetic field and distort the real outlines of the ship. "Dagestan" is the first Russian ship on which the Kalibr-NK missile system is installed with several types of missiles. In addition, the ship is equipped with rapid-fire cannons and an anti-aircraft fire system. Thus, “Dagestan” is a multifunctional warship.
At the end of November, the anti-sabotage boat Rook of the 21980 project was put into service. He became part of the Black Sea Russian fleet. The boat has high tactical and technical characteristics, increased seaworthiness, is equipped with modern electronic equipment and power plant, which provides a wide range of tasks.
Last year, new aircraft also appeared in the Russian army. In particular, the Su-34 bomber is meant. In December last year, the company "Sukhoi" handed over to the Russian air force all the 10 Su-34 airplanes that were planned by the 2012 state defense order of the year. It must be said that the distinctive feature of this aircraft is that the bomber is controlled by a digital multichannel CDS, which is able to independently track angles of attack and overload. In addition, the Su-34 is also equipped with an active protection system, which does not allow access to an unacceptable flight mode and helps prevent collisions with the ground in the case of low-altitude flight. In addition, this system can automatically control the actions and physical condition of the pilots, the remaining fuel and the on-board system, and the approach.
Another aircraft, which replenished the fleet of the Russian Air Force, was the Su-35S. On December 28 of last year, transfer documents were signed for the 6 Su-35S. This is the fourth generation aircraft, which has been improved in accordance with modern development trends. aviation. The main distinguishing feature of the new fighter is its built-in electronics. It is equipped with an information-controlled system, the HO35 Irbis radar station, which is equipped with a phased passive antenna array. The radar computing unit is capable of simultaneously detecting and conducting 30 airborne or four ground targets.
Since the beginning of 2012, the Eastern Military District has received more than thirty new helicopters, in particular, the transport assault Mi-8AMTSH, the transport heavy Mi-26, and the shock Ka-52. In addition, by the end of 2012, the X-NUMX of Mi-8AMTSH helicopters also received a base of military aviation of the BBO, located in the Khabarovsk Territory. Six helicopters have arrived at the base.
Aircraft deliveries are carried out according to a large-scale state armaments program for the 2011-2020 year. Under this program, the air force of the Russian Federation should receive more than one thousand different types of helicopters. These include, in particular, the Ka-52 (according to some sources, around 10 units), Mi-28Н (around 12 machines), Mi-35 (4 machines transferred to the 6971 second AB of the Russian Air Force), Ansat (5 helicopters ). Thus, according to the results of 2012, the X-NUMX helicopters of the Ka-19, 52 Mi-66Н, 28 Mi-12 and 35 Ansat helicopters are in service with the Russian troops. In the spring of this year, the Russian Defense Ministry signed several contracts for the supply of aircraft. According to one of them, the troops will receive one hundred forty "Alligators" (Ka-15).
Last year, military units of the Southern Military District in the course of fulfilling the state defense order received modern upgraded amphibious transport helicopters Mi-8MTV-5 (as of 2012, the 19 machines were in service), which significantly differ from their predecessors - Mi-8MT machines. The helicopter can be used not only for transporting people and cargo inside the cabin, but also for large-sized equipment on an external carrier. The helicopter is arranged in such a way as to reduce the landing time. At the same time to increase the volume of the cargo compartment, the number of seats has increased significantly. Loading and unloading of cargo and landing is carried out at the expense of a hydraulically driven aft ramp, which replaces the side doors of the cargo hatch. This update allows you to leave the car in less than two minutes.
In general, air defense and air force received about 30 aircraft units, in particular, the Mi-8AMTSH, Mi-26 helicopters (7 machines). By the end of last year, another two dozen modern helicopters and airplanes were delivered to the troops of the Southern Military District.
Artillery units were also re-armed. Thus, in 2012, the newest radar artillery service for shooting and reconnaissance Zoo 1, the most modern means for conducting reconnaissance activities, is one of the best in the world. The peculiarity of this complex is the ability to use it in conditions of intensive shooting, an expanded sector of the review and a high range, a high probability of accurate reconnaissance on the first shot, automatic control of the work and transfer of intelligence to units, and in addition, built-in health monitoring.
The units of the Southern Military District also received the first batch of Tor-М1-2У anti-aircraft systems (the exact number of systems received in 2012 was not officially covered, but it is known that the total number of these systems 130 units). Systems arrived in the framework of the state defense order. This complex is designed to replace the system "Thor", "Wasp" and "Tor-M1", which up to the present time were in service.
Upgrading technology was carried out in other branches of the army. So, in particular, artillery combined-arms units of the Southern Military District, which are deployed in the Krasnodar Territory and the Volgograd Region, received in 2012 more than three hundred modernized and modern units of rocket-artillery equipment.
The main arrivals are 40 self-propelled howitzers "Msta-S" caliber 152 millimeter. Also 70 of Grad and Tornado multiple rocket launchers, more than two dozen Khost self-propelled artillery guns were put into service. A distinctive feature of all the received equipment is that it has a satellite navigation system GLONASS and equipment for telecode communication, which greatly increases the accuracy and efficiency of destruction, and also reduces the time to open fire.
The motorized rifle unit of the Southern Military District, which is deployed in the Volgograd Region, received the Tunguska anti-aircraft gun and missile systems. As of 2012 year, the total number of complexes that is in service with the army is 236 units. The complex has a distinctive feature compared to other means of air defense, which consists in a continuous zone of destruction.
The artillery unit of the Southern Military District, which is deployed in Ingushetia, received the 10 of the new anti-tank missile systems "Chrysanthemum-S".
As part of the state defense order, the Volgograd subdivision of the Southern Military District received the 6 upgraded Strela-10 anti-aircraft missile systems. Thus, the equipment of the mechanized infantry brigade with modern weapons is fully completed.
In addition, the troops received 20 missile anti-tank systems "Kornet", which is designed to destroy armored vehicles and is equipped with dynamic protection, as well as a laser guidance system. The complex includes a launcher with a device - a sight and pointing drives, a trigger mechanism and a thermal sight, as well as guided missiles that are located in launch canisters.
At the beginning of 2013, deliveries of special and automotive vehicles to the Russian military units 200 are planned. The land base will receive a general-purpose vehicle for service - several modifications of Ural vehicles with the wheel formula 4х4 and 6х6. In addition, moving assets will also be received for the maintenance of equipment and weapons in the field. Among them - maintenance workshops, elektrospetsrabot and others. According to the representative of the district, these cars have increased capacity and throughput, in addition, they are equipped for use in hot climates and can be used in off-road conditions. All these cars will be on the service and warranty service of the enterprise "Ural". This service will be conducted by on-site plant groups. Currently, 70 units of such equipment have arrived at the military base.
This is not a complete list of new weapons that appeared in the Russian armed forces. But it is hoped that if rearmament moves at the same pace, then national armed forces will soon be able to effectively ensure the security of the country, regardless of how the events in the world will develop.
