“Blue Angels” - aviation US Naval Aerobatics Team.
The group was created in 1946 year.
In 1950, the group was temporarily disbanded, and its pilots were sent to the Far East to participate in the Korean War (this step was caused by a shortage of flight personnel.)
In 1951, the Blue Angels were formed again.



The group currently flies the F / A-18 Hornet fighter-bombers.
Maximum speed during an air show: 700 miles per hour (1300 km / h) and minimum: 120 miles per hour (220 km / hour).

The average age of pilots of the pilot group: 33 of the year. And the average age of the technical staff: 26 years.

Each applicant must serve in the Navy or Marine Corps as a jet pilot and have at least 1250 flight hours.
