What problems will be solved after the formation of a new army
Against the backdrop of the events that took place quite recently, we somehow miss other events that will soon be called at least a timely decision taken and implemented by the country's leadership. Let's talk today about ... the experience of the Great Patriotic War and how we use it today. That is, about reserve parts, connections and associations that are already being created.
We are well aware that modern warfare is very different from those that took place in the last century. Only a very lazy person did not talk about this. But at the same time, reports somehow imperceptibly pass that some kind of operation in the NVO zone completely copies the operation developed during the capture by the Germans or the liberation of the Red Army of Soviet Ukraine during the Great Patriotic War.
But the topic of this material is somewhat different. About the reserves that you need to have in order to respond in time to emerging risks in the NWO zone. But it is quite possible that we will need connections and associations on other theaters of operations. The world really stands on the edge, at the very abyss, at the line beyond which the lives of many people on this planet can change or stop.
“We are forming reserves as part of the army corps, the army, plus five regiments of the 20th army. Everything is going according to plan. In fact, by the end of June we will complete the formation of the reserve army and in the near future we will complete the formation of the army corps.
This is a quote from the speech of Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin and members of the Security Council. To date, according to Shoigu, 60% of this reserve for equipment and weapons has been formed. Work on the formation of the reserve is planned to be completed in the near future. Until the end of July this year.
Lessons should not be passed, but taught
So it turns out that we have, probably, the greatest experience of participating in global wars of our time. Too we are a tasty morsel for the West. Accordingly, we have the opportunity to study the actions of commanders and chiefs not only on the fronts, but also in the rear. Those actions that ultimately led to another victory over the enemy.
Remember the description of the actions of our troops in the first period of the war? How did divisions and even armies die in boilers, how many Red Army soldiers were captured and died in the first months of the war? I do not want to talk about some kind of military genius of the Germans, about the miscalculations of our command, about the shortcomings of our equipment and weapons. It's about something completely different.
Even after the monstrous losses of the first period of the war, our army continued to defend itself and inflict serious damage on the Nazis. What is the reason for this phenomenon?
First of all, there are reserves. In the possibility of not only transferring already existing and long-established divisions from the east of the country, but also in the formation of new divisions directly in the front-line areas.
Suffice it to say that during the first year of the war, 97 divisions from the deep rear and 194 newly formed divisions were sent to the front! Among these divisions were 35 divisions of the people's militia! Those that today are called territorial defense. But there were also 94 new brigades! And all this for six months of the war. Other figures look no less impressive. For example, the number of armies in six months increased from 20 at the beginning of the war to 71 at the beginning of 1942.
One can, of course, blame our command for shortcomings in this matter in the pre-war period and for the fact that the new divisions were poorly trained and suffered huge losses, as well as for the lack of equipment and heavy weapons. Everything is so, but it was these poorly trained divisions that did the main thing - they stopped the enemy and made it possible to pull up reserves from the east.
Indeed, these are forced actions. The command was well aware that the militias would not be able to withstand the experienced Germans for a long time, but there was no other way out. And the new connections really stood to death! No step back! This is not a slogan, this is the norm of life for soldiers and officers of that time. Die but stay!
But already in 1942, the very principle of manning units and subunits changed. Now, new units were not formed from the replenishment, instead, battered units were taken out from the front to rest and reorganize. In the rear, recruits were trained, including experienced soldiers and sergeants, and coordinated. Now young soldiers could learn from the experience of veterans and quickly become experienced warriors themselves.
This principle of formation has borne fruit. Losses dropped sharply, the army began not only to defend, but also to attack. It can be said that a completely new army was born. Moreover, after the failures of the first year of the war, the command began to track specialists, such as tankers, artillerymen, sappers, who, even after treatment, could not be sent to serve in other branches of the military.
Members of the NWO should become the core of new parts
We write and talk a lot about how we lack junior officers. And at the same time, we argue that a whole galaxy of commanders of platoons, companies, and even battalions and brigades have appeared at the front, who have grown from ordinary fighters during the NMD. This is especially true for the formations of the Donbass.
And how many sergeants have been in command of platoons for a long time? They command with the rank of sergeant, although they could have become junior lieutenants for a long time. Even those who have remained in the positions of sergeants and have been fighting for several months or years can become excellent instructors for new recruits.
When forming new units and formations, there will be a place for all these officers and sergeants. In addition, they will have the opportunity to complete either courses or military educational institutions, and thus the issue of military education for such fighters will be resolved. This is very important for the career growth of military personnel.
There is another way to form new parts. This is the withdrawal to the rear of the units and subunits that were the most battered in previous battles, and their reorganization and resupplying as part of new formations. But in this case, it is necessary to understaff such units with officers educated in military universities of the Russian Federation.
In any case, the creation of a reserve army must be combined with the solution of the problem of sergeants and officers, who, by their service in the NVO zone, have proved that the army is needed and that they have the talent and will of the commander. Again, remember the Great Patriotic War. How many talented commanders and military leaders then appeared. In many ways, it was thanks to such commanders that we won.

Units and subunits formed according to this principle, if necessary, can be easily withdrawn from the new reserve army and sent to replace other units that need rest. Send exactly as a part or connection, and not as a replenishment. Fully equipped with everything you need and ready for combat use without additional training.
Such a replacement will solve the problem with the terms of stay in the NWO zone. Something that is often talked about both in the army and in civilian life. By the way, this is how the Armed Forces do it. Another brigade comes to the place of the defeated brigade. And the remnants of the destroyed compound are included in the composition of those who came to replace.
Why is the issue of reserves urgently needed to be addressed?
I have already written above that the issue of the reserve army is very acute. This is connected not only with the NWO, but also with the aggravation of the situation in international relations. I think that today no one will be able to predict the border that politicians will not cross.
As has already happened more than once, a war can be started not by world powers, but by any “state trifle”. In small states, the system of control over politicians is weaker than in large powers. The example of Ukraine, I think, convinced all skeptics how quickly such a reckless state can be created.
I will not reveal a secret if I say that success in war largely depends on the military might of the state. More precisely - on the ratio of the military power of the enemy countries. Quite simply, success in war depends on how effectively the state can realize its military, economic, ideological, political, scientific, technical and other potentials.
Military power is by no means only the power of the army. Everything that I have listed above constitutes the potential military power of the country. By the way, that is why today more and more often there is an opinion about the impossibility of Ukraine's victory in this confrontation. No one claims that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are weak or poorly armed. No, conclusions are drawn based on the study of all factors.
An army without a rear, the maximum that it can do is to delay its death with personal courage and the talent of commanders. Everything will simply lie down under the blows of the enemy ... This is what we are seeing today in Ukraine.
Short conclusion
I will not write much on the results. Just some personal observations.
There is no doubt that the task of forming a new army will be accomplished. As well as the fact that not a rear, but a combat army will be created, the core of which will be front-line soldiers. For many officers, this will be another promotion.
What I wrote above is quite obvious facts. SVO is being carried out and while the fighting is ongoing, any surprises are possible. The new army closes this issue. But, in my opinion, this army will be designed to solve completely different tasks. Let's just say it will be an offensive army. Let's look at the result, according to what units and formations will arm. This will tell the experts a lot.
Where such an army can attack is not important. The important thing is that we are bringing our Armed Forces to a level that will ensure the real security of Russia from any surprises and the punishment of any enemy, if necessary. If the army does not advance, the army does not win!
