Marines were given a go-aheadThe rally of the Union of Russian Paratroopers demanding the resignation of Serdyukov is allowed - on November 7 in 12.00 on Poklonnaya Hill ...

The application by the Union of Russian Paratroopers for permission in the first half of November to meet at the Poklonnaya Hill was fully satisfied. “The rally will be held on Poklonnaya Hill on 7 in November at 12.00,” said Colonel-General Vladislav Achalov, head of the Union of Russian Paratroopers, ex-commander of the USSR Airborne Forces.

An application for the action was submitted by the Union of Russian Paratroopers to the Moscow mayor's office on Monday, October 25. The text of the document referred to the number of paratroopers in 10 thousand people and any date convenient for the authorities in the first half of November.

As it became known, on the eve of the rally, on November 6, a congress of the Union of Russian paratroopers will take place in Moscow, at which, one should assume, among other issues, questions will be raised in connection with the incident at the Ryazan school.

“We want to express the idea out loud so that the people can hear us,” said General Vladislav Achalov, after submitting the application. - We want one thing that not only Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov, but already Pankov (Secretary of State of the Ministry of Defense) and Makarov (Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces) resigned. Stop experimenting with people. ”

He also explained that many public organizations, including Cossacks, expressed a desire to come along with veteran paratroopers to the rally. At the same time, Vladislav Achalov did not name the exact number of those who are going to support the Union of Russian Paratroopers at the rally for the resignation of Anatoly Serdyukov, explaining that he did not ask the leaders of these organizations how many people they would bring with them.

The former commander of the Airborne Forces of the USSR stressed that the matter would not be limited to a rally. Airborne veterans are now collecting signatures under an appeal to the President of Russia with a request to deal with the situation and send the Defense Minister Serdyukov to resign.
