In Russia, there will be a heavyweight rocket to be sent to the moon

37
The Federal Space Agency managed to coordinate with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and send to the Russian government a concept for the development of spacecraft extraction devices, up to 2030. According to a source in the space department, the main task, which is indicated in the document, is the creation of a launch vehicle capable of launching into a near-earth orbit, whose height is two hundred kilometers, a payload of up to seventy tons.

The creation of such a rocket is necessary for the implementation of the plans already voiced earlier, according to which a flight of the Russian manned spacecraft to the Moon should take place by 2028. In addition, it is planned to use this rocket for other purposes, in particular, in order to deliver unmanned spacecraft to asteroids, as well as to other celestial bodies.

The carrier, bringing into the reference orbit up to seventy tons, will be the most powerful rocket in the world, if we talk about the machines that are in operation and are being created to date. Thus, the heavy version of the Falcon rocket, which is being built by the American corporation SpaceX, will be able to put up to fifty-three tons into low orbit. The powerful carrier Arian 5, owned by the European Space Agency, is capable of delivering up to twenty one tons, which is one ton less than what Proton-M can produce in Russia. The most powerful Chinese version of the Chang Zheng family of rockets will be able to deliver up to twenty-five tons.

The Russian super heavyweight rocket will be inferior only to the carriers created in the last century: the Soviet Energia rocket, which took out up to one hundred and five tons, and the American Saturn 5 rocket, built by Werner von Braun, who had a record figure of 140 tons.

The development of the super heavyweight rocket is planned for 2021-2025 years, the creation of the launch complex for it will take place at the Vostochny cosmodrome, which is currently under construction in the Amur region.

However, the creation of such a rocket is only half the battle. The main task set today in Roscosmos is the creation of a base on the Earth satellite. In this regard, difficulties begin to appear. Earlier there were reports that the landing of Russian astronauts on the lunar surface is planned by officials before the 2030 year. For scientists, this option is almost utopian.

According to the scientific director of the Institute of Scientific Policy, Ivan Moiseev, this task can be accomplished after 2040, since earlier the necessary resources for this would not be enough. If the Russian leadership will seek to speed up the solution of this issue, it will come out as the Americans: flew and flew. In order to stay there, you need to look over the 2030 year and build a base on the moon.

The “missile” concept, which was sent to the Russian government, was developed by Roscosmos on the instructions of the Security Council. All this was accompanied by rather scandalous circumstances. So, officials suddenly found out that they were working on two very similar and very expensive projects. In parallel with the creation of the Angara rocket, which has been under way for twenty years, the carrier rocket Rus, which is in fact its counterpart, is being developed.

The creation of two similar missiles is too expensive, in connection with which it was decided to abandon the work on the missile "Rus". When they began to find out the reasons for the occurrence of such a situation, it became clear that in Russia there was no general concept of missiles. After that, Roskosmos was instructed to write it.

we had a powerful missile n 1 but because of Korolev’s death she still didn’t fulfill her task, although it remained just a little, but there were those who ruined it all, and now a lot of work remains to be done, but much has already been lost

The American Saturn-5 rocket did not exist as a rocket - it was all a re-enactment; America still uses Russian rocket engines. There was a Saturn Rocket -1 in camouflage. With appropriate traction, lower than Media in the USSR.

he found google he found a 140-ton American, he only put 47 tons into the lunar orbit, if the laws of proportion do not exceed 25 tons, this modern rocket will launch, and if the Americans with a rocket with twice the payload could not solve the problem of creating a base, does this also lead to a dead end? ... if you are enlightened in this matter, please comment.

If the Russian leadership will seek to force a solution to this issue, it will come out, like the Americans: flew in and out.
Yes, even so! So far, no one has surpassed the Americans on this issue. And China does not give "boredom"
Messages about China’s intentions to send a lunar expedition have been heard before, but this time for the first time these plans are mentioned in official documents of the government.
China Daily has published a government report summarizing the past five years and outlining plans for space exploration over the next five years. The document noted that the past period was fruitful for the Chinese astronautics, since everything that was outlined in the space program was accomplished - access to outer space, and rendezvous, and docking in outer space.
Next year, China plans to send two spacecraft “Shenzhou 9” (Shenzhou 9) and “Shenzhou 10” (Shenzhou 9) (manned or unmanned) for docking with the space laboratory “Tiangong-1” (Tiangong 1).
The document states that the purpose of the research is to prepare for the flight of man to the moon. This program does not yet have an approved schedule. It is only reported that the soft landing of the unmanned module and the deployment of a lunar rover to examine the surface of the Earth’s satellite will initially be worked out. The next stage of the "lunar program" involves the delivery of soil samples of the moon to Earth.

        minus one? German warrior!

the most important thing in a spacecraft is its engines. The unsurpassed RD-170/171, which were on Energia, developed a thrust of 740 tons.

These engines had their continuation of the RD-180 with a thrust of 390 tons. Russia sells these engines to America RD-180 on which Atlases actually fly, and our p & ndos cannot make their engine, so ours are taking, but where is the famous F-1 ? on which he stood on Saturns5, and for some reason is not used that does not fit at all with American greed-pragmatism, but such things are not scattered about, five !!! engines f-1 dragged Saturn weighing 3.5 thousand tons and after that they were thrown away like old tires together with Sturmbannführer von Braun to the dustbin of history ???

, as for Energia, it was intended for Buran, Skif, and it was a very expensive ship; now they make Angara ships cheaper, but the technologies for making the ship and the engine go down the drain, as the Americans do not throw away, but on the contrary, they improve.

Hmm ... things are really bad in our space industry, since they are engaged in such fiction, they simply do not understand that neither the military-industrial complex nor Roscosmos can create anything new and even more fundamentally new, in the 90s they could still, but there was no funding , and now the most important PERSONNEL is no longer! In today's Russia, it is not prestigious to be a design engineer, probably a galley slave did not quite realize that it is impossible to live on 25 thousand wooden ones, let alone support a family, buy an apartment, a car , go on vacation and eat meat every day. And how sad it is, our industry will degrade even faster than in the "fun 90s" it has already forgotten how to produce equipment on a large scale, and there is no need to talk about the pervasive corruption.

Purely theoretically (since there was no real design work), Energy had an option called Volcano, the cat had not 4 but 8 side packets. But it’s just that everything was just in the idea of Energy being designed under the weight of the payload on the side, in the Vulcan variant the payload had to be installed on top, that is, the entire central unit had to be radically changed.

PS All these developments can be very late if SpaceX Mask comes out with FalconHavy

(Grant money - 2.5 million - from the Ministry of Railways, the management of the Special Design Bureau stole - and there was no point in continuing ..)

Now I work at a space research institute ...
For example, the topic "Diagnostics" is half a billion rubles ...
Two years ago, on this subject, we wrote mountains of empty paper reports. Then there was a vague period .. And a month ago I saw a presentation for the leaders - what was done. So, 80% of the presented - it’s just bought someone else’s products and hung up their tags and labels (and it was paid as our own development). The remaining 20% is lower quality products compared to what we did in the 80s.

I now have the space industry (at least where I am) associated with a steam locomotive which is sacked with bags of currency.
