Tracked transport all-terrain vehicle TGM 3T (Belarus)
The Belarusian enterprise Minoton-Service, specializing in the design, construction and production of combat vehicles on a tracked base, founded in 1991, the company is engaged in the supply of military equipment to its main customers - the military departments of Russia and Belarus. In addition, Minoton-Service is currently the only Belarusian company that carries out maintenance and repair of military equipment on a tracked base, ordered by the Russian military.
2003 year. At the international exhibition IDEX, held in the United Arab Emirates, about 825 companies and companies from around the world presented their products. There was presented the Belarusian machine on a tracked base - TGM ZT. The car was built in an incredibly short time. From the idea of creating such a machine to its implementation in the metal it took designers about 6-months. This was the first official demonstration of TGM ZT. The car itself was represented by the general director of Minotor-Service V. Grebenshchikov, he conducted a demonstration race. In 2005, TGM ZT was presented at IDEX, also taking place in the UAE.
An interesting version of the TGM ZT was presented by Minotor-Service in 2009, at the 5 International Exhibition Milex-2009, held in Minsk, the capital of Belarus. 8 countries presented their products on it - 145 samples of equipment and weapons. The presented modification of the TGM ZT is a kind of open multi-seat and all-terrain crawler "convertible". It is noteworthy that the interior of the car is made of leather, this gave the car an incredible personality. According to representatives of the enterprise-manufacturer, TGM ZT can be made in various versions, have weapons or protection, armor or increased maneuverability.
2011 year. Last year, at the Belarusian exhibition “MILEX-2011”, the Belarusian all-terrain vehicle TGM ZT with the designation “Mosquito” took an active part in an indicative military-technical performance. The service was attended by servicemen of the fifth separate special forces brigade of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus. Scenario speech:
- during the alleged military conflict, the enemy knocks down the plane of "our" forces;
- the pilot ejects and makes a landing on the territory of the enemy;
- the pilot "gets" in captivity;
- reconnaissance "our" frees the pilot from captivity.
The enemy arrived to capture the pilot on a standard "UAZ", the reconnaissance group used the TGM 3T Mosquito tracked vehicle to move. The performance took place on a small demonstration site, and the TGM 3T was able to demonstrate its high-speed, all-terrain and maneuverability.
All-terrain vehicles TGM 3T take a permanent part in international exhibitions of weapons and exercises of the units of the armed forces of Belarus. However, to date, this all-terrain vehicle was not adopted by any army in the world. At present, the designers of the enterprise continue to develop the all-terrain vehicle, and the new machine will have the characteristics of the TGM ST and will be built according to a new principle using new technologies and solutions.
The device and design of the Belarusian all-terrain vehicle
TGM ZT is equipped with a diesel engine, an automatic transmission, a hydrostatic turn mechanism that ensures the achievement of increased speed and maneuvering characteristics. In an all-terrain vehicle, in addition to the driver, 5 troops can be accommodated with full equipment. When placed in an all-terrain vehicle, passengers will be able to control the environment at 360 degrees. Lightweight and tightness allows the all-terrain vehicle to overcome all water obstacles in the direction of travel by rewinding the tracks in the water. There is a possibility (on request) to produce all-terrain vehicles with installed jet propulsion (or propellers). The layout of the TGM ZT is a uniform distribution of the aggregates throughout the machine. This is a distinctive and individual feature of the Belarusian all-terrain vehicle, which allows for optimal weight distribution. The power plant is located in the central part of the hull. There are installed the engine and automatic transmission. In the front of the case there is a rotary mechanism of a hydrostatic type. The cooling system is distributed in the rear of the case on the sides of the machine. It is possible to produce combat vehicles with various weapons installed. The use of the following weapons for use in various units of the armed forces was successfully tested:
- automatic grenade launcher type "AG-17" caliber 30 mm;
- heavy machine gun NSV-12.7 caliber 12.7 mm;
- missile anti-tank complex "Baby";
- missile anti-tank complex "Metis";
- rocket anti-tank complex "Fagot";
- rocket anti-tank complex "Competition";
- anti-aircraft missile portable complex "MANPADS".
