Russian-Italian Arsenal pistol "Strizh" / "Strike One"

37

The pistol “Strike One”, better known in Russia as the “Swift,” was first presented to the public in Nuremberg, Germany in March 2012 at the IWA-2012 exhibition. The gun has developed a young company Arsenal Firearms, whose headquarters is located in Russia, and production facilities are located in Russia, Austria and Italy. Arsenal is led by Dmitry Streshinsky, a famous Russian collector. weapons and Nicola Bandini Italian. The production of "Swifts" will be conducted at all production sites of the company. This will allow to supply products to different markets and different users, taking into account the laws of different countries.

"Strizh" / "Strike One" on the small arms market is positioned as a weapon of law enforcement forces and the armed forces, but the gun can also be used as a sports weapon and as a weapon intended for self-defense (in countries where it is permitted by law). The main difference between the "Swift" and its competitors is the low location of the axis of its trunk relative to the hand holding the weapon and the minimum mass of parts moving in a vertical plane. This design of the weapon makes it possible to more effectively control the recoil and toss during high-speed shooting. To achieve such properties in the gun uses the original scheme of automation with a movable barrel. A similar scheme can be found in the design of the gun Bergmann "Mars" created by Louis Schmeisser in the early twentieth century at the factory of Theodor Bergman. Currently, "Swift" is being finalized, and, most likely, the serial pistol will have differences from the presented prototypes. The Swatch / Strike One series is scheduled to launch in the fall of 2012.

According to the information that the manufacturers have distributed, the Russian serial version of Stryzh will differ somewhat from the “foreign” versions of “Strike One”. In particular, "Swift" will be produced only with 9x19 cartridges, but with the possibility of safe and reliable firing with enhanced domestic versions of this cartridge 7Н31 and 7Н21.

The Swift / Strike One pistol uses a single polymer frame (having a steel insert) in combination with a number of trunk-bolt-magazine kits that allow the use of various 9-10mm cartridges. Automatic pistol recoil used in the short course. When you roll back the barrel moves in the longitudinal direction, without rotation or skew. Locking the barrel bore (coupling the barrel and bolt) is provided by a separate Y-shaped locking part. Its upper part ("fork") covers the trunk from the bottom and sides. At the same time, it enters a vertical groove on the surface of the trunk. This groove allows the locking part to move up and down relative to the barrel, but does not allow longitudinal displacement. The outer surface of the "fork" has lugs that enter the notches on the inner surface of the bolt. At the bottom of the "fork" there is an inclined through groove. A cross pin inserted into the frame of the pistol passes through it. The barrel and bolt before the shot are in the forward extreme position. The interaction of the transverse pin and the groove located in the locking larva holds it in the upper position. The barrel and bolt at the same time rigidly hooked the lugs on its outer surface. The barrel and bolt after the shot begin rolling back. The interaction of the inclined groove located in the locking larva and the transverse pin. At the same time, the locking larva decreases relative to the trunk. Her combat stops after a short recoil out of engagement. After disengaging the barrel and the bolt, the barrel stops by striking the liner of the breech frame. The shutter continues to move back by inertia. When this is retrieved and ejected cartridge case. The bolt in the roll forward is sent from the store a new cartridge into the barrel, and then begins to push the barrel forward. The movement of the barrel causes the locking part to rise upwards. The barrel with the bolt again rigidly interlock for the next shot.

The trigger mechanism "Stryzh" shock. A partial platoon of the hammer spring occurs when the bolt rolls back and forth. Dovzvodka to the combat position occurs only when the trigger is pulled (a similar system is implemented in Glock pistols). Meals are supplied from a box-shaped double-row store with their exit in one row. On both sides of the handle of the weapon are the buttons of the magazine latch. The slide delay lever is located on the frame on the left. For installation of various accessories, the gun is equipped with an integral Picatinny-type guide placed under the barrel on the frame. On the basis of "Strizh" / "Strike One" developed version of the "carbine" has an elongated 30-centimeter barrel, which can be placed branded accessories, such as an extended adapter with a butt or forearm with additional Picatinny rail.

A good machine, lightweight, modern, comfortable and killer, with excellent performance characteristics, it would be nice to equip it with security forces.

It seems that it was decided to buy Strike made by IzhMash at the Moscow Region ... But Rogozin is interested in a gun, so we will find out for sure soon.

it will be a mistake to procure it so quickly.
You must first collect a package of complaints and application experience. Fix the baby jambs.
And then to buy in order not to gnaw a cactus.
I'm not saying that the gun is bad. He needs time to be great.

there is already a Yarygin pistol. moreover, a good pistol, which lacks only more modern ergonomics, and, most importantly, a high-quality barrel. guarantee of 4000 shots per barrel - laughing chickens. the Glock has 100 rounds per barrel, the Slovak Grand Power - 100 - 120 rounds per barrel. even the Bulgarians at their “Arsenal” have learned to make better quality barrels. or even a Ukrainian "fort", the first independent versions of which were a natural misunderstanding, not a weapon.

although ... a low aim line relative to the arm is very good. PJ has no such dignity.

Glock-17 is somewhat reminiscent of it, but unfortunately it will be the same story as with the ORSIS T-5000 rifle, the MO does not spare money on official vehicles for itself, and the soldier runs around with junk, enough of it.

at GSh the scheme of locking the barrel is different - by turning 8 fighting stops. low sighting line - yes, but the gun is also more compact in appearance.

The fact that the SVD is never a sniper rifle is one thing ... BUT! But in its niche of "enhanced accuracy" weapons, it is the best example. And the wooden forend is never a minus.

It seems that private traders were able to do what old-timers from the state KBe still cannot. An extra argument for the long-overdue need to thoroughly shake up this sleepy swamp of pensioners who can offer nothing but bricks chopped with an ax. Of the domestic developments, perhaps GSh is interesting, a thing, but the quality of the finish seemed to work as a schoolboy PTUshnik file.

The "old men from the state design bureau" have 20 years of underfunding behind them, completely ignoring their needs, knocking out personnel, cutting enterprises and capacities by sent Varangians. when private traders manage to build a banal aircraft cannon, then there will be a reason to talk about their coolness. so far, they make pistols according to ready-made recipes and of completely incomprehensible quality. will achieve fame and popularity, like those of TT and PM - honor and praise to them, but for now, God forbid, small-scale production to master and shove a pair of finished products to at least someone.

a lot of domestic developments are interesting. and GS is one of them. pistol "vector" - a much more interesting development, moreover, already in service. As for the design, the "creative class" for some reason is in no hurry to benefit the national shooters with their skills. so it is like this. with general poverty, it is difficult to engage in virtue - the main thing is to shoot reliably and be repairable. design for old people has always been secondary.

It differs from Glock and GSH-18 in the locking system. The Glock has a Browning earring, the GSh has a barrel twist. So, the similarity is only external.

It is good that there are private enthusiasts who revive the glorious weapons traditions of Russia. Good luck to Arsenal Firearms and ORSIS.

The developers of the Swift pistol constantly consulted with employees of Russian special forces. As a result of numerous changes and improvements made to the design, the weapon has good combat and operational qualities. Swift pistols for export are called Strike. The weapon is distinguished by a thin profile of the plastic frame and the absence of a manually controlled fuse with protruding levers, which makes the weapon comfortable and quite invisible when hidden wearing. WANT SUCH!

TT pistol - almost pure "Browning" with some improvements. "Makarka" was sculpted based on "Walter" and even the appearance is similar. if you dig into almost any weapon mechanics or design, you can always see which direction the development was looking. in weapon mechanics, it is very difficult to say a new word. and now, when there is a shortage of personnel and there is a gap in the continuity of generations of gunsmiths, at least this way you can make up for the lost decades. the main thing is that the production is own.

I liked the gun! good Krasirvo and tasteful. If you believe the description and the photo is simple and technological ... good
If subjective, then outwardly it resembles a mixture of Glock-17 and GSh-18. By the way, I respect these machines with great respect and sympathy ... smile

And I wish the company good luck in all endeavors and success in their completion. I hope that she will please us with her new products. drinks

If the resource is good and without childhood diseases, then gun is quite acceptable. Its still in the 45th caliber! )) Design of course at Whock whistled, but not scary, in the end, stealing ideas from gunsmiths is a favorite pastime. Personally, the GSh-18 design is more to me than a square glock.
