Russian-Italian Arsenal pistol "Strizh" / "Strike One"
The pistol “Strike One”, better known in Russia as the “Swift,” was first presented to the public in Nuremberg, Germany in March 2012 at the IWA-2012 exhibition. The gun has developed a young company Arsenal Firearms, whose headquarters is located in Russia, and production facilities are located in Russia, Austria and Italy. Arsenal is led by Dmitry Streshinsky, a famous Russian collector. weapons and Nicola Bandini Italian. The production of "Swifts" will be conducted at all production sites of the company. This will allow to supply products to different markets and different users, taking into account the laws of different countries.
"Strizh" / "Strike One" on the small arms market is positioned as a weapon of law enforcement forces and the armed forces, but the gun can also be used as a sports weapon and as a weapon intended for self-defense (in countries where it is permitted by law). The main difference between the "Swift" and its competitors is the low location of the axis of its trunk relative to the hand holding the weapon and the minimum mass of parts moving in a vertical plane. This design of the weapon makes it possible to more effectively control the recoil and toss during high-speed shooting. To achieve such properties in the gun uses the original scheme of automation with a movable barrel. A similar scheme can be found in the design of the gun Bergmann "Mars" created by Louis Schmeisser in the early twentieth century at the factory of Theodor Bergman. Currently, "Swift" is being finalized, and, most likely, the serial pistol will have differences from the presented prototypes. The Swatch / Strike One series is scheduled to launch in the fall of 2012.
According to the information that the manufacturers have distributed, the Russian serial version of Stryzh will differ somewhat from the “foreign” versions of “Strike One”. In particular, "Swift" will be produced only with 9x19 cartridges, but with the possibility of safe and reliable firing with enhanced domestic versions of this cartridge 7Н31 and 7Н21.
The Swift / Strike One pistol uses a single polymer frame (having a steel insert) in combination with a number of trunk-bolt-magazine kits that allow the use of various 9-10mm cartridges. Automatic pistol recoil used in the short course. When you roll back the barrel moves in the longitudinal direction, without rotation or skew. Locking the barrel bore (coupling the barrel and bolt) is provided by a separate Y-shaped locking part. Its upper part ("fork") covers the trunk from the bottom and sides. At the same time, it enters a vertical groove on the surface of the trunk. This groove allows the locking part to move up and down relative to the barrel, but does not allow longitudinal displacement. The outer surface of the "fork" has lugs that enter the notches on the inner surface of the bolt. At the bottom of the "fork" there is an inclined through groove. A cross pin inserted into the frame of the pistol passes through it. The barrel and bolt before the shot are in the forward extreme position. The interaction of the transverse pin and the groove located in the locking larva holds it in the upper position. The barrel and bolt at the same time rigidly hooked the lugs on its outer surface. The barrel and bolt after the shot begin rolling back. The interaction of the inclined groove located in the locking larva and the transverse pin. At the same time, the locking larva decreases relative to the trunk. Her combat stops after a short recoil out of engagement. After disengaging the barrel and the bolt, the barrel stops by striking the liner of the breech frame. The shutter continues to move back by inertia. When this is retrieved and ejected cartridge case. The bolt in the roll forward is sent from the store a new cartridge into the barrel, and then begins to push the barrel forward. The movement of the barrel causes the locking part to rise upwards. The barrel with the bolt again rigidly interlock for the next shot.
The trigger mechanism "Stryzh" shock. A partial platoon of the hammer spring occurs when the bolt rolls back and forth. Dovzvodka to the combat position occurs only when the trigger is pulled (a similar system is implemented in Glock pistols). Meals are supplied from a box-shaped double-row store with their exit in one row. On both sides of the handle of the weapon are the buttons of the magazine latch. The slide delay lever is located on the frame on the left. For installation of various accessories, the gun is equipped with an integral Picatinny-type guide placed under the barrel on the frame. On the basis of "Strizh" / "Strike One" developed version of the "carbine" has an elongated 30-centimeter barrel, which can be placed branded accessories, such as an extended adapter with a butt or forearm with additional Picatinny rail.
