Made in Ukraine - promising "Equalizer"

87
Back in Soviet times, it was decided to abandon 7.62 mm ammunition to ensure automatic firing. This was due to the fact that the use of a 7.62 mm cartridge caused greater recoil, which negatively affected the accuracy of fire, in addition, the recoil momentum constantly knocked down the sight, and the shooter became very tired, which reduced the accuracy of the fire. There were attempts to remove negative characteristics using various technical solutions. But these attempts were quite ineffective. Therefore, in order to eliminate the shortcomings, we went the simplest way - we reduced the used cartridge caliber to 5.45 mm. Compared with the use of 7.62 caliber ammunition, the striking characteristics have become much worse. To increase the striking characteristics, they began to use in weapons fixed queues - that is, they began to take not by “quality”, but by quantity. The implementation of technical innovations to compensate for recoil using a caliber of 7.62 mm or improving the characteristics of a defeat when using a caliber of 5.45 mm was characterized by a complication of the design of automatic weapons, which ultimately reduced reliability and increased the cost of manufacturing weapons. From this situation, a logical decision arises on the creation of weapons that would be able to produce automatic firing of 7.62 mm ammunition and would not have the above negative consequences that arise when firing 7.62 mm ammunition.

Made in Ukraine - promising "Equalizer"

Project "Equalizer"
Ukrainian promising machine operates due to the useful impact of the short stroke of the barrel. Before the shot, the barrel with the bolt and bolt carrier looks like a single knot. In firing, a “single knot” under the influence of an acquired recoil pulse begins to move backward. Having passed the path in 10 mm, the barrel and bolt stop and pass some distance forward, where they completely stop, being in a kind of intermediate position. The shutter frame, separated, continues to roll back, at this time, the shutter finger, touching, slides the groove of the copier type on the bolt carrier. The groove, in turn, causes the shutter to rotate, which ultimately leads to unlocking the latter. For 0.5 cm before the end of the movement of the frame of the gate, the hook of the bolt carrier interacts with the protrusion of the barrel, which is in an intermediate state and the last 5 mm they pass in one bundle. The movable parts of the machine have enough mass to reduce the impact force when you roll back to the back position. With the return of the mobile unit forward, the barrel again becomes in an intermediate state, the bolt frame pushes the bolt itself, and he, in turn, sends the next ammunition to the chamber. The bolt carrier continues to move forward, the reverse rotational movement of the bolt occurs due to the interaction of the bolt pin and the slot of the frame. It leads to the locking of the barrel. At the end of the movement all the moving parts of the machine again form the form of a single node. The details move together forward, and at this time the trigger interacts with the drummer, and a shot is made. The recoil from the shot prevents the movement of a “single knot” forward, which reduces the “rolling effect” - the impact of moving parts when returning to the most forward position. In order to give a higher reliability and increase the rate of fire, the weapon was supplied with a gas accelerator - the removal of a certain amount of gas from the barrel channel. Powder gases have an effect on the piston rod, and he, in turn, gives impetus to the frame of the shutter. The booster has a faucet that can be opened or closed by the user of the weapon at its discretion. USM made a hammer type. You can shoot as single shots and bursts. The fire interpreter plays an additional role as a safety device. In addition, the promising automatic machine is provided with a shutter lag.

Key Features:
- layout of the machine - bullpup;
- The total weight of the machine - 3.8 kilogram;
- length - 78.2 centimeter;
- barrel - 50 centimeters.
- the weight of the "Equalizer" with the equipped magazine, mounted with a bayonet, unloaded grenade launcher - 5,8 kilogram.

Proceeding from such a scheme for creating an automaton, one can fairly confidently assume that:
- the use of the “single knot” scheme and its movement reduce the possibility of a shift of the gunner’s shoulder when making a shot;
- 2-x multiple use of the weight of the barrel will greatly reduce the impact when shooting;
- hitting the cartridge capsule before the arrival of the “single knot” system will effectively reduce the possibility of a machine gun nod when firing in bursts;
- provision of an automaton with a gas accelerator will increase the reliability of the automaton as a whole.

The feature of this machine is to use the receiver lodgement instead of the standard trunk box. This makes it possible to more evenly distribute the arising load during shooting. Butt machine does not take the load when firing and just is the shoulder rest. Additionally serves as a key for disassembling the machine. The bottom and top cover protects the machine from getting into the dirt. The lid of the lower version is not removed, but leans back, it gives access to the trigger without disassembling the weapon. The barrel of the "Equalizer" is mounted in 2-x places - the rear end on the inner radius of the lodgment of the trunk and in the middle, in the sleeve, which is located at the base of the front sight bracket. A gas accelerator was placed in the gas pipe; it is mounted in the front area of the handle to move the machine. Fastening a bayonet is provided above the barrel, there is the prospect of mounting a grenade launcher instead.

At the moment, the grenade launcher is installed on the Picatinny rail, which is located under the barrel on a plastic forearm. Not only a grenade launcher, but also other additional equipment — a laser designator, a flashlight, range finders of various types and an additional handle — can be mounted on the bar. The handle makes holding the machine much more comfortable. Based on the design of the machine - the use of a short stroke of the barrel, mounting on the barrel of a grenade launcher of the sub-barrel type has become impossible. The rocket launcher frame is its carrier part. Therefore, a grenade launcher is limited to a grenade launcher length in centimeters 18. Loading a grenade launcher occurs with a fracture of the rear of the trunk down. By the way, such a scheme for loading a grenade allowed the use of grenades of different lengths for firing from it. A grenade launcher is locked on a simple lock, it is located in close proximity to the trigger. This arrangement makes it possible to prepare a grenade launcher for firing with one hand. USM grenade launcher samovzvodny. Clicking on the hook causes the thrust to move, which causes the cocking lever to move. The lever sets the hook to the calculated angle for cocking the spring of a combat type. At the top of the movement, the trigger comes off the lever and, under the influence of a spring, hits the cap of the grenade. The platoon lever also blocks the barrel retainer, which completely eliminates the possibility of an arbitrary opening of the barrel when firing. The sight of a portable type grenade launcher, mounted on the left of the carrier frame. The aiming bar is spring loaded and retained by the latch.

          And here is China !!

          China can put up 500 million army! Which is two more than the population of America! And they are super duper quality and NEV ..... NEW indicators of these crafts are not so relevant! The main thing is that they are produced on their own territory!

          This Chinese crap is made on SVD automation under its own low-pulse cartridge. according to the reviews of the shooters, with such a machine gun you can only fight in close combat. it is also characteristic that no one orders it from the Chinese and they do not seek to remake it at least under NATO 5.56.
          unlike, for example, the Israeli "Tavor".

          here, you see, the main thing is not that the "equalizer" is designed in the layout of the bullpup, but what kind of mechanics it has inside. and the filling of the "equalizer" is very different from the mechanics of SVD / QBZ.

    Who created it in Ukraine, specifically?
    You know how many computer models walk on forums.
    In general, a good license TAVOR-Assault rifle "Fort - 221" is issued in Ukraine. Cheaper it and remodel to 5,45 caliber and GP-25 grenade launcher does not seem to be a problem. Our military simply thinks in old categories: but BMP (BTR-a) is not suitable for a loophole, a new system is needed to land assaults, etc. etc.

      Fort-221 is not just a Tavor license. This is actually the very production of the "Tavor" for Israel, which considered that the production of this machine is too expensive on its own facilities. therefore, it will no longer be possible to make it cheaper.

      moreover, most readers never learned to read. "equalizer" is designed in such a way as to reduce recoil and increase the accuracy of fire with Orthodox 7.62x39 ammunition. If this succeeds, then the designers of the "equalizer" will be very grateful to the soldiers fighting in the mountainous forest areas and in the city, in which the weapon under low-impulse cartridges has not proved to be the best.

        To make it cheaper is a trifling matter. There are a lot of imported components in Fort 221. Precisely because the Jews want to have their own "details" for themselves. In particular, the trunk. They even supply us with plastic. They are already making stamps from it, which can be replaced with domestic ones. The question here is, will Tel Avia agree to this?

        But what about this?

        Koshkin Mikhail, designer of tanks, under his leadership the T-34 tank was created

        Mikhail Ilyich Koshkin was born on December 3, 1898 in the village of Brynchagi Yaroslavl regionand. When he was seven years old, his father died in logging. Mother went to farm to feed three children.

        In 1917 he was drafted into the Red Army. After the end of the civil war, he was sent to the Communist University, where he studied from 1921 to 1924. After graduation, he worked in various administrative and party positions. In 1929, a thirty-year-old family member of the initiative among the "party thousand" was sent to study at the Leningrad Polytechnic Institute. Koshkin was enrolled in the Department of Automobiles and Tractors.

        In the 30s, a scientific and industrial base of tank building was formed in Leningrad, and the department "Cars and tractors" was the main link in the training of qualified personnel for this industry.

        After a successful defense in 1934, engineer Koshkin was sent to work at the Kirov Leningrad Experimental Mechanical Engineering Plant Tank production at this plant was organized in the early 30s after the Government of the USSR ordered the plant to implement a large program of experimental design and research work on military vehicles.

        Experienced wheeled-tracked and purely tracked vehicles (T-43, T-46-1, T-29, T-46-5, T-100) were developed and manufactured at the plant, which had a significant impact on the overall development of pre-war armored vehicles and wartime. Participated in the development of prototypes of tanks T-29 and T-46-5. Since 1937, the chief designer of a tank design bureau at one of the factories. Mikhail Koshkin led the modernization of existing tanks and the testing of new prototypes.

          in my opinion, it is best to leave a trihedral needle bayonet, as on the Mosin rifle, which the Chinese put on their AKs with SCS. it penetrates well, is removed well and gives a more penetrating stab wound than a bayonet-knife.

      Secondly, the rear sight directly in front of the eye, this reduces the accuracy of pointing! There are long-established and proven norms of the distance from the eye to the rear sight!

    39mm is the length of the sleeve of the Soviet intermediate cartridge sample 43g. The Slav brothers in translation from German want to say that this is an assault rifle chambered for 7.62X39. But the disadvantage of this cartridge is the short range of a direct shot compared to 5.56X45 and 5.45X39. In the proposed version, it remains. The automation scheme with a short barrel stroke was used in the very first Fedorov assault rifle. In artillery, it worked well, and in hand weapons, the junction of the movable barrel and the box is very sensitive to contamination. Perform a prototype, shoot and surrender to the museum.

      This is just a computer model, besides stillborn. Created by the righty for the righty. Shutter window on one side only. Do not take the fantasy of one person with the opinion of the entire scientific school. With the rest of the unification samples, zero, except for a bayonet-knife. If the barrel is short, then the shutter is locked by skewing and not by rotation. Turning the shutter with moving front parts is virtually impossible. Is that the shutter will be motionless in translational movements And from here all the mechanics are new. A lot of individual nodes. For modern weapons, disassembly is outdated. All new samples are disassembled modularly. And generally speaking. You know how many such weapons are delivered to the GRAU every year. Only cadets of RAVists sent 5-6 works while defending diplomas.
      Regarding the cartridge orb. 43 years. Persistence can be provided with another bullet and a new composition and structure of gunpowder, and a long barrel with a different pitch and number of rifling. The cartridge has not yet outlived its age and will not give up.

          Ukraine as a state has existed for 20 years. Each military institute or academy has its own scientific base. GRAU has several design bureaus. In the structure of the Ministry of Internal Affairs there are factories and design bureaus. Do you really think that they are only engaged in plagiarism, while institutes and academies allow you to create a working model. My younger brother at the institute, too, wanted to write a diploma on creating a new sample, but when he learned that it can only be written in "secret" he quickly refused.

          dude, before shaking your cheeks and spilling into a nightingale, you should understand that in weapon mechanics it is very difficult to say a new word - almost impossible. and when the euphoria passes, it is not clear from what the hands reach the Internet, then it will be possible to find out that the famous Glock pistol was created by plastic manufacturers. moreover, having no experience in designing small arms. that the Croats in a short time created the HS-2000 pistol, which is manufactured under license in the United States by Springfield Arms. There are a lot of examples when good and interesting weapons are designed and created in countries and companies that do not have long-standing weapons traditions. good weapons began to be produced by South Africa, Singapore, Brazil.

          I remember very well how they giggled at the tank forums when the Russian Federation refused to supply tank guns to Ukraine for the Pakistani contract.
          typical cormorant joke: "Yes, they will shove the logs into the towers." and what? In just a year, one of the factories that had previously produced seamless gas pipes created a tank gun, which is now installed on all Ukrainian tanks and supplied for sale. customers did not complain about the quality. the same story with the 30 mm cannon for the BMP.

          it would be better to think about why it is on the good old Izhmash that Yarygin pistols are made, which have a guarantee for a barrel of a maximum of 4000 shots? despite the fact that the Glock, which does not have glorious traditions, gives a guarantee of as much as 100 thousand rounds per barrel. or why Russian special forces prefer to get the Bulgarian Kalashoid SA M7 instead of the Orthodox barrel from Izhmash. why, for example, Serbia, which traditionally bought licenses for the production of Soviet weapons, refused to buy licenses for Russian weapons. conspiracy and RLS, not otherwise.

    Well, as they say - even so. While we are talking here, a man took and tried to design a model. People had questions - why not in metal? I think in Ukraine, as in Russia, there are the same laws that allow inventing new weapons only on paper. In order to make a little bit of a sample for testing, in Russia you must have an appropriate license. Its absence can lead to criminal liability under Article 228 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. In short, nothing has changed since the time of the king of the peas. The initiative is still punishable. There are Tula and Izhevsk design bureaus in Russia, plus a new firm for the production of ORSIS (supposedly a relative of Serdyukov) and that's enough, there is nothing to mess with the state with all sorts of ideas from the bottom. They are above and so know better than we do what we need and how often to breathe and how much to eat. And the name "Equalizer" reminded one of the good old American folk proverb - God created people, and Mr. Colt made them equal.

    Good evening! Bullpup is good; 7.62x39 cartridge is bad. It is necessary to proceed from future individual security, taking into account exoskeletons and new types of armor. Probably it is necessary to whitewash under the cartridge up to 9 mm with a sleeveless charge. It is necessary to increase accuracy at distances up to 500-600 m and provide at these distances a high stopping power of the bullet.

        I'm not against good "eternal" samples such as RPG-7, AK or SVD. But it's good when the enemy has weapons of a similar generation, albeit modernized. I know a man who was shot from AKM and he received 7 through bullet wounds with a 7,62 mm caliber bullet. and stayed alive. The author cited three-dimensional renderings (there is nothing wrong with that), but he talked as a finished weapon. This is not a weapon yet, for it is not only not tested, but not even made. Which, by the way, does not prevent us from discussing the pros and cons of the system precisely at the conceptual level. But for now, nothing more.

    The wrong location of the bayonet is striking. This will clog the barrel with blood and giblets. And yet, with such a "walking" barrel, the bayonet-knife can generally jam the barrel, which in close combat will leave you without a chance.
    And in general, the fire monitor is very afraid of dirt. The blow from the recoil softens, but the withdrawal of the barrel and the balance of the person does not reduce (the total energy is the same, comparable to the energy of a bullet).
