The Americans store them and not destroy them in the overwhelming majority of cases. That is, they have a significant quantitative advantage. . Experts know it.
2.Aviation.
The Russian 5 generation aircraft is still in development and the result is not guaranteed. Russian-made air-to-air missiles are already far behind in performance. It is enough to compare the latest modifications of the AIM-120 Amraam (USA) and P-77 (РВВ -AE) produced by Russia. These are long-range missiles with an active homing head. For medium and short-range missiles, the situation is the same. We are behind the engines. The presence of new generation heat-resistant alloys does not increase the temperature on the turbine blades and increase thrust Engine availability. Onboard electronics and radar - a clear loss.
3.Cosmic troops.
The relative failure of the GLONASS system and the inability to use high-precision weapon to the maximum. I saw a GLONASS receiver here. You can easily kill a person if you hit the head.
4.Tank troops.
The lag in the development of tank ammunition, systems for detecting and controlling combat and fire. Plus the presence of ammunition in the fighting compartment. When armor is broken through, there is a very high danger of detonation of the ammunition and no chance of the crew.
5.Artillery.
High-precision munitions are almost absent. The new ones are almost not developed. The gun barrels are less wear-resistant than Western counterparts. The guidance systems are outdated.
6.Fleet.
There is still more dramatic. Details too much to describe everything. There is not enough either quantity or quality. What can we say here if the Black Sea Fleet is several times weaker than the Turkish.
7.Defense.
Here the situation is more optimistic, but not much. There are few weapons systems. Yes, and the Americans are not standing still.
8. Small arms.
The Kalashnikov assault rifle is of course a legend, but the West also has its own systems brought up to the proper level. All American soldiers use automatic collimator sights, which allow them to fight at medium distances more effectively.
9. Communications and electronics.
Complete loss. No established and reliable communication system. Lack of computer technology.
10. Unmanned systems.
That's what annoys me the most. Americans are very active and develop subtle unmanned systems. Both intelligence and shock. Russian counterparts nervously smoking on the sidelines.
The most important thing is that with this approach we will soon, to draw an analogy, be fighting with bows and arrows against machine guns. Analogies with the Indians suggest themselves. The US military budget is huge and continues to increase, NATO is building up its forces. China is also very actively developing weapons systems, and if it cannot, then it copies ours. So I wonder who all this is being prepared against? Maybe against someone who is weakening every day and marking time? Even the conflict in South Ossetia was a kind of reconnaissance in force (by the hands of the Georgians), and verification. And it gave a very disappointing result. How was it possible to lose so many planes in these days. Okay, the Su-25 is a battlefield plane (attack aircraft), but the Tu-22 strategic bomber? Moreover, according to various sources, they lost from 5 to 8 planes. There was no reconnaissance, the weapons were old, the control was weak. They got by thanks to the heroism of the Russian soldier and the overwhelming superiority. And even then it was hard to get to Tbilisi. In short, not to optimism. I emphasize. This is not an expert assessment, but an assessment of a person more or less versed in weapons. The conclusion suggests itself, either we start to decide and do something, or we will suffer the fate of the Indians. By the way, I have not yet touched on Serdyukov's reform. In short, if it continues like this, then I advise everyone to prepare as much as possible. As soon as the Americans can reliably suppress our only trump card - the Strategic Missile Forces, they will attack. They are working very actively on this issue. It is not for nothing that they installed air defense systems (and in the future, missile defense) in Poland. My opinion is that they are looking for a key to us. And as soon as they find it - a paragraph! Even Hitler, in my opinion, was raised to deal with us with his hands. He simply got out of control. But he was able to inflict terrible damage on Russia.
