In the very near future, the enterprises of the group are waiting for the completion of the unification within the framework of the NGO Izhmash and the transfer of all contracts to the newly created structure. It is planned that the company will be able to buy out all the core assets necessary for production in order to preserve all the production units of new technological chains and existing jobs, while getting rid of the ballast of outdated equipment.
The modernization planned by the new Izhmash team has also been launched. In the first half of 2012, it is planned to purchase new equipment for the weapons sector: the project provides for the purchase of high-performance pressing and stamping equipment with programmed control of the total amount of 58 million rubles. In the coming 3-5 years, an update of the electroplating, foundry-thermal and other production sites is also planned.

In the short term, their quality will be tested on prototypes, after which they will be launched into mass production. Nanocomposite coatings can be used in the gun, and machine tool production. The presentation of the first products and unique properties of nanocoatings will take place upon completion of the factory tests.
