Invisible Cloak for all measurements

16
Invisible Cloak for all measurementsDeveloped a material that can make objects invisible from all sides. A real breakthrough in its creation was achieved by American scientists. Researchers from Austin University were able to make quite a large object disappear, namely the 18-centimeter cylinder. It became invisible from all sides, despite the angle from which it was observed. Although this happened for the microwave range, the object became invisible in all three dimensions.

Previously, scientists used metamaterials to create invisible cloaks. They are set up so that they can change the trajectory of the fall of the waves of light. The light does not hit the object, instead bending around it. Simply put, it bounces off the metamaterial like a tennis ball.

Researcher Andrea Alu from Ostinsky University used plasmon material with a different principle of action. Because of the incident light, quasiparticles are formed, called plasmons, capable of emitting electromagnetic waves on their own. With their participation, a negative image is obtained for the object, similar to an unmanifested film. At the moment of interaction between the object and the plasmon coating, the object becomes invisible due to the counter action of the object and the plasmons.

The result of this work was the disappearance from all angles of the 18-centimeter object, which was in free space. According to Andrea Alu, it was a real object that stood in their laboratory, disappearing completely. But the applied principle does not work for the visible range, scientists have managed to learn how to “dissolve” objects only in the microwave spectrum. And the invisibility cloak itself works only for this cylinder.

However, this does not weaken the enthusiasm of scientists. According to Andrea Alu, there is still a lot of additional research to be done. At the moment, their main task was the demonstration of plasmon material. Alu said that in five years, all invisibility cloaks will be created from this material.

It is also worth recalling the metamaterial researchers from the University of Birmingham, who were able to make the usual paper clip disappear. In their work, a different method was used. To make it invisible, they placed it in front of a complex system consisting of specially bent crystals. In this system, there are certain features of the reflection and refraction of light, which, ultimately, leads to the fact that the real physical object completely disappears from view.

According to Dr. Shuang, in the coming years, it will be possible to surpass the results of previous studies, which allowed "to hide" only micron objects. Very soon, a system will be created that will allow you to make objects invisible, equal in size to humans.

Scientists have been developing optical invisible materials for the past four years. The latest achievement was Meta-flex, which was created by experts from Scotland. This is a thin polymer that allows you to control light waves in the visible range. It has high plasticity. The light falling on it simply "rounds" the subject.

Rather, all this "scientific sensation" is a fly inflated by yusami (like inveterate fans of advertising) to the size of an elephant! We have already read recently about a huge breakthrough in the fight for hypersound! Now - silence because it turns out that even telemetry could not show objective data during the "flight" of this hypersonic miracle! Here, in the struggle between secrecy and advertising, the desire to advertise well and beautifully won out! And all the rest of the people in the World, now this advertisement is obliged (!) To eat with gusto!

it doesn’t matter to be able to pass for ... to impress others with their insignificance ... and even more to lie if you say a lot that’s true ... And what amer technologists ... their super-super stealth F-117 was shot down by an old out of five their 2 super-shuttles was covered with victims, calculate the percentage ... or their f-22 when the pilot died even having failed to eject or f-35 about which the designers themselves say they wanted to wunderwaffle, they got it ... they have a lot of money, but also $ 202 trillion here is http://region16.info/index.php?name=News&file=article&sid=913

Muhahaha !!! Cool thing! With this cloak the special forces will arm and it will be possible to calmly roam the territory of the enemy.

Well, yes, a secret development on YouTube;))
Because of the incident light, quasiparticles are formed, called plasmons, capable of independently emitting electromagnetic waves. With their participation, it turns out negative image for an object similar undeveloped film.
Cant, the video is clearly not a negative image.

In Russia, there are also developments in this area and are quite advanced, materials have been created and prototypes are being produced "camouflage from the so-called" smart "fabric, which adjusts to the lighting and color of the landscape, like a chameleon."
as well as developments in the field of metamaterials, etc.

I doubt that the image is true ... Most likely window dressing! And how correctly noticed urzul, who and what the hell will be the development of such equipment on YouTube to spread? All this nonsense is in my opinion, and if such an instance exists, then obviously the people will not be put on display ...

The article talks about the microwave spectrum. but visible in the video.
Generally bred. Next time they will show the acting (flying) superman costume. The one with the pants on top of the leotard.

    we have the same developments
alatau_09 is right, a costume is also being created that can increase the strength of a fighter so that, for example, he overcomes a major obstacle. Karoche crysis om smell

Why a suit? :) For a long time already in an army armor some groups of fighters use pills with stimulants, neither hunting, nor sleeping, furious reaction, zero fatigue, aggravation of feelings, though wild people then wild .... even climb on the wall and gnaw the asphalt :)

Once upon a time in the journal "Tekhnika-Molodyozhi" there was an article about the work of Russian scientists on paint that made the plane invisible when it was in the air. I don’t remember on the ground. And it said that the work was stopped due to the fact that the locators anyway they see a plane, though it was a long time ago and I may not remember everything.
If a person is not visible visually, the thermal imager will probably see him.

And why the camera behind him was not visible? Video fake. Such cloaks for another 5-7 years will definitely not be, and if they appear earlier, they are hardly suitable in terms of price and quality.
