MP-444 “Bagheera”, MP-445 “Varyag” and MP-446 “Viking” self-loading pistols
Self-loading pistol MP-444 "Bagheera"
The product codenamed "Bagheera" is a fundamentally different development of the Izhevsk Mechanical Plant, unlike the entire range of such weapons. The pistol base is made of plastic, which is made of polymer compounds and meets the required strength criteria. The main working elements of the pistol are metal, as if they are “filled in” with body plastic. The gun can use three types of ammunition in its modifications: 9x17, 9x18 PM and PMM and 9x19 "Parabellum".
The pistol frame is made of molded plastic, which has undergone heat treatment and has given the product particular strength. The frontal and aft guides of the shutter mechanism are integrated into it. The percussion mechanism is equipped with a drummer, which has a special cocking mechanism, with which you can manually strike a drummer and fire, both self-cocked and with a pre-cocked drummer. The trigger mechanism is located in the front and aft guides of the bolt section. The buffer mechanism of the return type, serves to soften the impact force of the barrel and the bolt in the rearmost position.
The presence of the cartridge in the chamber can be judged by the ejector, by its contour, which can be viewed even in conditions of insufficient visibility.
The protection mechanism includes a mechanical safety device, which is located on the bolt section, and an automatic blocking of the firing pin, which does not give him the opportunity to puncture the cartridge cap until the trigger is squeezed to the stop. Directly checkbox-fuse in the lower position opens the possibility of firing. In the top position, he blocks the trigger without removing the drummer from combat cocking, which makes it possible to transfer the product to the ready positions for firing and, if necessary, to start firing quickly when the descent is weakly pressed. If the lever of the safety mechanism is moved further than the lock, the function of resetting the firing pin from the firing position will work. Cage stopper is located behind the trigger guard and can be installed under a comfortable hand. Sight unregulated.

Self-loading pistol MP-446 "Viking"
The self-loading pistol MP-446 Viking is the development of the model range of the Yarygin pistol and was created on the platform of the pistol ПЯ 6П35 Rook, which is in service with the Russian Armed Forces. The modification was mastered by the production in order to increase the demand for the product in which the component materials were applied, reducing the cost price of the weapon as a commodity through the use of polymeric plastics.
The product consists of a skeleton on which a double-cocked trigger type USM is mounted (firing, both from a platoon and manual self-arming), a durable plastic frame, a bolt and return mechanism, and a closing device.
The power supply is carried out from a double-row box-type clip.
The basis of the automatic pistol - the principle of recoil of the shutter in the short course of the barrel. Locking for a shot is made by tilting the barrel to one combat stop of the coupling.
The role of the cartridge presence indicator in the chamber is played by the upper lip of the ejector.
Shop latch is capable of installing under a convenient working hand arrow. Mechanical type fuse, with two-way control, blocks USM, both when firing by self-cocked and pre-cocked.
Spring return action with a guide rod located under the barrel part. Incomplete and complete disassembly of the product is carried out without the use of additional materials using a standard ramrod. In operation is simple, as in circulation.

Self-loading pistol MP-445 "Varyag"
This gun is based on the 6P35 “Grach” pistol, which is in service with the Russian Armed Forces. Preparing for production as an export option. The weapon was being prepared for mass production, as the main weapon of the police and some army units.
The self-loading MP-445 "Varyag" was "loaded" chambered for 9x19, and its "twin" MP-445 SW used even more powerful .40 S&W ammunition from "Smith and Wesson". There is also a compact version of the MP-445C ("C" - from the Latin word "compact"). A little later, the model range was replenished with the "compact" MP-445CSW chambered for SW. Despite the fact that all models of this series are no different, they all have their own external design with striking similarity.
Automation products operates due to the short stroke of the barrel. USM - hammer type, double cocking, which allows you to fire self-platoon. The MP-445 is adjustable both in height and horizontally, and in the MP-445C compact, the sights are of a fixed type with three contrast points. For the manufacture of the frame of the product has also been used durable polymer thermoplastic. An indicator of the presence of the cartridge in the chamber in the form of the upper projection of the ejector was made on the bolt-on part. The clip of the clip is made in the form of a double-sided lever, which makes it possible to rearrange it under the leading hand for easy shooting. Spring return mechanism is located under the barrel. It has special grooves for mounting the target designator.
Pistols "Bagheera" and "Viking" remained experienced.
