ARMY-2016. Everything for the fleet, everything for lunch

13

For a start, a little talk about ships. Namely, why does a ship, especially a combat one, cause so much emotion in a normal person? Probably because humankind began to swim long before the wheel was invented and started to ride. About flights generally keep quiet. Genetically, it was already fixed in the consciousness that the ship is beautiful. Especially beautiful ship.

In general, any ship is the quintessence of the possibility of mankind. From the technical side, of course. And in relation to the labor invested. It’s hard to say how much can be made instead of one frigate tanks and aircraft, if you count tons of metal and man-hours of labor, but I think that a lot.

The ship consists of many components. Enumeration makes no sense, it is clear to anyone. Our today's story is about those who create only one of the components of the ship. Since the ships simply have no unimportant components, let's call it one of the most pleasant ones. For those who go to sea on this ship.

The St. Petersburg firm "Designintertechnika" creates galleys. For any ships and ships. A special pride is the work of equipping the Admiral Grigorovich patrol ship with all necessary equipment. Actually, because the photo of the ship and is present at the beginning of the article.

So, what is needed in order to provide sailors with everything they need, from borscht to compote?

Depending on the size of the ship. It is more difficult to work with small courts, according to the stories of representatives of "PIT". Less space - more effort to cram everything you need into a given volume.

But it all starts with the car (or even more than one) of stainless steel.

It is clear that the sea is an aggressive environment. Salt water, saturated air saturated with salt. Therefore, our stainless steel is everything. Remake something from everyday equipment to fit fleet just unrealistic. It’s easier to design and build “from scratch” than to replace everything that can rust. Therefore, everything is made of stainless steel. From cases to the last washer. With all the ensuing consequences, for stainless steel is not the best material to process.

Even a stainless steel meat grinder. Not a tribute to fashion, but a real necessity.

Sea food kettle of MPK. The heart of any galley.

This is the smallest of the family of boilers. On 60 liters. In the line of the IPC there are also boilers for any size: on 100, 200 and 300 liters.

Antistorm clips. You can cook with any rolling, nothing spills.

Sea electric stove with oven.

Like a regular cooker, it is able to boil, fry, simmer, bake. It happens on 4 or 6 burners. It differs from an ordinary plate only by bumpers, the task of which is to keep a pan or a frying pan on the stove, when the sea is restless.

Konvektomat.

Hybrid cabinet oven and steamer. Able to boil, fry, simmer, bake, boil. But unlike pots and pans, it saves water and fats. And the time, because it is able to spend on cooking a dish in half less time than required by the stove. And it takes less space.

Shipboard distribution line of food.

Constructor, which can be formed as you like, depending on the room. The purpose is clear, to indulge those who suffer from dinner. Qualitative. Accordingly, what should not cool down - it will be heated, and what should wait for its turn in a cooled state - that will not give to heat.

Sea refrigerated table.

For prompt storage, not in deep freeze. from -2 to + 8 Celsius. Got - and then to work.

Naturally, in the arsenal of St. Petersburg manufacturers and other equipment. Ovens, refrigerators, washers, dryers.

We very carefully studied everything brought to the exhibition. Made by hand and conscientiously. Although what is there to advertise, the Russian Navy made their choice in equipping the new corvette.

We spend a lot of time talking about new weapons systems in our army, about new equipment. But the galley on the ship and the kitchen in the field are no less important components of success than technology. For with trembling hands you cannot win much. So, the galley and the kitchen must work like a clock. Yes, the overcoming of all military service deprivation is spelled out in the Charter. But it's good when war is war, and dinner is on schedule. For a hungry soldier and sailor - this is not the key to success.

Moreover, we plan to visit the plant "Designintertechnika". Yes, this is a whole plant. And then the story will be in more detail and more colorful, good, there will be more places.

I don’t know how on large ships, but we cooked well on small ones, maybe also because the products were not pulled away. On New Year's Eve, the main dish is self-made dumplings. In general, a good cook (as well as another standing specialist) on the ship is a great success. And if his equipment is up to standard. good

In the early 90s, Tolya Kovalsky from Ukraine served as cook on the TFR. Before serving in civilian life, he was a 4-grade turner in a restaurant. Here was a fan of his craft! From that meager supply ration I could make such a "candy". 25 five years have passed, and we still remember him.

The sailors have their own atmosphere. And they always had the best supplies. And the daily routine is like in a pioneer camp. This is not air defense for you, which has always been supplied on a leftover basis. What has fallen from the "cart" is what you have. For example, in 2 years in the air defense system, I have seen boiled potatoes only twice. Mostly cereals on a combination fat, and soups on cereals. Well, borscht, for a change, on sauerkraut with mixed fat. In winter, the ladle took this "lid" of fatty food from the dispenser, and then there was cold borscht with wild heartburn.

Why are there to complain. Steadfastly endured all hardships and hardships. Well, these are little things in life. The army is a necessary thing, useful for education. Worse when not serving.

      Thanks to the author.

The article is informative. Extra knowledge will not hurt.

In 1915, the rescue ship "Commune" was built in Russia, which is the oldest in the world of those actually operating (a hundred years on the move and does not fart). And it was built not of "stainless steel", but of ductile forged ship steel. The secret has become lost, the remakes cannot even understand which brand. I'm so kaezza that it's not more expensive than stainless steel. This is where you need to find what you accidentally lost.

in my opinion, not for the purpose of "losing", something to find later ... Most likely, the mission is impossible.

Providing good nutrition, creating the conditions for its preparation, is also not the last topic. I remember everything was worse and more modest.

We had an Uzbek cook on the ship, one of the only representatives of Uzbekistan on the ship, and he was an excellent cook. In the ship's galley, he did such a thing that everyone was surprised. In the base, all the staff officers, the brigade commander and his deputy, all had lunch with us. At that time, the galley was the latest technology. The ship was built in 1973, and I served from 1975 to 1978. And what kind of bread was baked !!! Unite !!!

I would have set up such equipment in my kitchen with pleasure. I love stainless steel. But it will be very expensive, it’s not even Miele with Liebher.

We are sailors, not infantry. A thin sailor is a shame for the fleet! (with)
