As promised, we continue to acquaint our readers with the news MIC of Russia ....

In December 2011 of the year in Klimovsk near Moscow on the basis of the "Central Research Unit" TsNIITOCHMASH "demonstrated complexes, weapons and combat equipment, offered by Russian enterprises of the military-industrial complex for the Armed Forces of Russia. The event was held in the framework of the operational and special gathering of command personnel The Main Committee of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

1. Automatic machine-based grenade launcher AGS-17 "Flame" (index GRAU 6-X10)

AGS-17 "Flame" is one of the most effective types of weapons of the ground forces, it has proven itself in combat operations in Afghanistan and the North Caucasus. The grenade launcher is compact enough, reliable, convenient for transportation and carrying, but at the same time it has a high combat effectiveness comparable to light infantry mortars of the 50mm caliber.

2. Universal machine 6У6 for installation 12.7mm large-caliber machine gun "Kord" (index GRAU 6П50)

Tactical and technical data of PU on the basis of 6У6 and 12.7mm machine gun "Kord" (index GRAU 6П50)

3. Grenades (shots) to grenade launchers and manual grenade launchers of 40mm caliber

New types of grenades (shot) to grenade launchers of type GP-25 "Bonfire" / GP-30 "Obuvka" / GP-34. Firing of them can be worn on 5,45-mm machines AK74 (AKS74, AK74M, AK107, AEK-971, AN-94), 5,56-mm machines AK101, AK108 and AEK-971, and on 7,62-mm AKM ( AKMS, AK103, AK109, AEK-973). These ammunition may fire from hand-held grenade launchers of the type RG-6 (index GRAU 6G-30).

5. Pyrotechnic means for protection aviation technology from missiles with infrared seeker

6. Knife scout special HPC-2

The LDC is a personal weapon of concealed attack and defense, intended both for use as a piercing-cutting edged weapon, and for silent and flameless shooting at an effective range of up to 25. Uses special cartridge SP-4.

Developed by TSNIITOCHMASH Klimovsk. Produced by the Tula Arms Plant.

7. Special 7,62mm self-loading pistol PSS "Vul" (index GRAU 6П28)

A four-shot pistol for firing under water is used by special units of the Russian Navy. When firing special ATP cartridges (4,5x39) with bullets of high elongation in the form of a rod with a double truncated cone are used. Stabilization of the bullet in the water is due to the formation around the bullet during the movement of the cavitation cavity. The gun is easy to use, reliable and highly effective when firing under water at a distance of up to 20m.

Developed by TSNIITOCHMASH Klimovsk together with the Tula Arms Plant. Produced by the Tula Arms Plant.

APS special submachine gun for firing under water is used by special units of the Russian Navy. When firing, special MPS cartridges (5,45x39) with bullets of high elongation in the form of a rod with a double truncated cone are used. The sleeve is used from the cartridge 5,45х39, it contains a propellant powder charge, ejecting a bullet from the barrel and activating the automatic weapons, based on the use of the energy of gases discharged from the hole in the wall of the barrel. Stabilization of the bullet in the water is due to the formation around the bullet during the movement of the cavitation cavity. The machine is easy to use, reliable and highly efficient when shooting underwater at a distance of up to 30m.

    Almost all samples are old.
Yes, and still have not learned to paint weapons with normal paint, it seems that our weapons are painted with sexual paint.

What difference does it make and how is it painted? Although a brush ...
If the weapon meets the requirements, then how it looks is the second question. Fenichi and color on Feng Shui can be very zabatsat. Vaughn, the Germans paint their G36 as they like ... Their head does not hurt about the quality. Here also.

I would not say that almost everything is old. Available - it means for sale. Buying means not old. Market, damn it ...

I remember how before the parade on November 7, 1990 in which for the first time 3 of our Topol RCPs were to take part, the task was set by someone from high-sitting designers to repaint the PUs under camouflage. I won’t tell how this process took place in details and who will serve in the army will understand that Feng Shui is resting! As always, everything was decided by military ingenuity and resourcefulness. As a result, it turned out pretty good.
In the future, they seemed to have abandoned this idea, more of this .... they didn’t do it.
And you say to decorate the machine.

Their head does not hurt about the quality of the fact that they produce weapons on modern machines, and we did on machines made in 1960 because of this we have long been ahead of us in terms of quality of weapons.

You would still know the basics of economics. then we would understand that if the price of car repair is much lower than the price of the car itself, then the issue of "Lada" is economically justified. the engine "Audi" or BMW will be covered with a copper basin - pay up to half the price of the car. and then another strange Jordan has signed an agreement with the Russian Federation on the assembly on its territory of "Lada" of our components. in sensible countries, in general, they do not develop "Lada" for the whims of the layman, but public transport.

this, again, from ignorance of reality. if the machine of 1960 allows you to produce products of a certain quality - it is in fixed assets and produces goods. Do not believe me - go see any normal factory in the USA or Canada. or at least watch the program "How It's Made" - old working machines in the 2000s - at least heaps. in the first place, everything is decided by the staff. machine tools are a matter of gain.

we were overtaken in quality because the military acceptance was canceled in the Russian Federation, we stopped keeping statistics on refusals in the troops, and also because of the absence of any responsibility for marriage and drank allocated funds. as well as a meager salary and loss of prestige among employees of the military industry.

The weapon is actually not bad. Many samples went through their own hands. But affection and nostalgia should not interfere with further development. As for coverage, this question is still important. Good quality coating increases the durability of the weapon. Remember, when abrasive spraying appeared on the heel of the gas exhaust piston of the first AK-74, how sharply the accuracy of fire increased. The second question about coverage is the unmasking factor. Removing the top layer causes glare of the pure metal, especially on the lid. Burning is not a whim, but an iron necessity in war. And so, it is joyful that the military-industrial complex has stirred. You give trunks a lot and different.

In order to “launch” new products, they must be bought. Or they paid for the development and launch in a series, which is impossible without further purchase ...
And who will buy something on a large scale from our gunsmiths? That's right, only RA. And the RA somehow is in no hurry with large purchases of both equipment and weapons ... Especially since the process of rearmament - in this case, to hypothetical "novelties" - is always going on with us painfully, too long and generally crumpled :(

The good news for me is that a domestic private producer, Orsis, is approved for testing. And then messages flickered that sniper weapons would be bought by English or Austrian. I believe that Orsis will not yield to them. I will "root" for them. By the way, Orsis’s equipment is all new and modern.

our small arms have no chance to break ahead, since we do not have a civilian market. only for the buyer the manufacturer will be able to turn inside out, but to do what a person needs. and not just technological (cheap and convenient to manufacture.)

Recently, IZHMEH and IZHMASH, as well as TOZ, have been supplying low-quality weapons at a high price to the civilian market. Therefore, in the civilian market, gradually, our weapons are superseded by Turkish. Due to price and quality. Therefore, they (domestic producers) did not care about the civilian market. More or less high-quality weapons at the VPMZ Hammer, ORSIS gives high hopes (I want to believe in this).

The fact is that the USSR, because of cheap resources and labor, was not interested in energy saving of machines and automation of processes, especially if there is a cheap slave. robots, which played a cruel joke with our industry in the 90s. In the program that you cited quite decent machines as an example, our machines of that period should not be compared, there is still a program “Megazavody” that I advise you to watch.
