Russian troops left Snake Island

Today is a holiday in Kyiv, Zelensky is celebrating the "great victory" in connection with the "liberation" of the Snake Island in the Black Sea. True, there is no merit of the Ukrainian military in this, the Russian garrison left the island voluntarily.

The information that Russian troops left Zmeiny was published by a number of Russian TG channels, and then confirmed by the Ministry of Defense. According to the military, the island was left as a gesture of goodwill for the organization of humanitarian corridors and the export of grain from Odessa. Now Kyiv must clear the coast, as Zelensky promised, as Russia has removed the last obstacle preventing it.

The Russian Federation does not interfere with the efforts of the UN to organize a humanitarian corridor for the export of agricultural products from the territory of Ukraine (...) Now the word is up to the Ukrainian side, which still does not clear the Black Sea coast from its coast, including port waters

- it is spoken in the message of the Ministry of Defense.

According to the report, the garrison left the island on 30 June. Some Internet resources already in the morning reported on an attempt by the Armed Forces of Ukraine to attack Serpentine. It was reported that Russia allegedly lost one Pantsir-S MANPADS.

Just a couple of days ago, information was received from Ukrainian sources that Zelensky gave two weeks to the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to capture Zmeinoye with a landing. In Kyiv, they plan to pass it off as a "big victory" against the backdrop of a complete failure in the Donbass. The island allows you to control not only Odessa, but also the mouth of the Danube.

It is strange that weapons are imported into Ukraine, but grain is not exported the same way. The trains come back empty.

Nobody notices the obvious - the West is lying about the impossibility of exporting grain.

The West is definitely lying. But if you think about it a little, it turns out like this:

      - equipment is transported on platforms, in containers or simply in freight cars. Well, or trucks)
      - transporting grain on flatcars (etc.) is a bad idea
      - grain (in commercial quantities) is transported by bulk carriers, and a bulk carrier is a ship.

Then, it seems, everything should be clear.

Before discussing why Russian troops left there, we need to understand why they were there in the first place. It is doubtful to consider any threats from any types of weapons, since aviation will get them all. Unless ensuring the presence of troops has become inadequate to the tasks they solve.

Well, or another episode in the “bring back Savchenko” style, when Russia does what the Ukrainians have been trying to achieve for a long time, in fact, simply turning the wheel of the genocide full circle.

They needed an island, they took it. Why is it not needed? They gave it away...

The phrase “the troops completed their tasks and left the territory to demonstrate a step [gesture] of goodwill” will be included in all military manuals and historical monographs... :)
A gigantic step has been taken, called another “gesture of goodwill,” towards the fact that Ukraine will survive as a state. The three ports of Odessa - Yuzhny, Chernomorsky and Odessa - account for 70% of all maritime transport in Ukraine. The lion's share of exports of grains, metals and iron ore passed through them. These supplies are the basis of the Ukrainian economy. Of course, the ports will now become the main hub for receiving Western weapons. The prospects for an invasion of Transnistria are opening up. ©
