Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu reported to the Supreme Commander-in-Chief that precise positions of cruise missiles from Caspian ships were inflicted on ISIS fighters flotilla. Tv channel Russia-1 presents the words of the head of the defense department of the Russian Federation:

To defeat the militants, except aviation, this morning they attracted the ships of the Caspian flotilla, four missile ships made 26 launches of sea-based cruise missiles "Caliber" for 11 targets.

The rocket ships of the Caspian Flotilla struck with cruise missiles at ISIL positions in Syria. Video

According to Sergei Shoigu, objective monitoring data confirmed information about the defeat by cruise missiles of objects belonging to the terrorists of the so-called Islamic State.

Shoigu:
The results of the strikes confirmed the high effectiveness of the missiles at long distances - almost 1,5 thousands of kilometers.

According to the Russian minister, missile strikes destroyed control centers of militants, ammunition depots, several terrorist training bases and military equipment clusters.

It was still deep night in Washington. Obama was sleeping. he dreamed of snorting handfuls of coke and banging young pumped-up American Marines in different poses in his native African jungle. Obama smiled in his sleep. He did not yet know that some of his Marines, who appeared in his dreams and who worked in reality as “instructors” for ISIS terrorists, were at that very moment being burned alive from the gentle touches of cruise missiles. It was deep night in Washington.

Everyone played out scenarios of how American and NATO aircraft carriers would encircle Russian territory and bomb our cities with Tomahawks (according to the Yugoslav scenario!). But in reality, it turned out that it was time for the Americans and Europeans to scrap their aircraft carriers, since they were not able to “fill up” or shallow the seas on which our ships with cruise missiles now sail. Well, is it possible to attract independent lads...

no friends! You all got it wrong - it was a training launch at the Ashuluk training ground. but the rocket turned a little in the wrong direction and fell down somewhere! and its range is, as expected, 300 km. and here there was simply a fair wind, a strong one! We rejoice early, this is only the beginning of the journey, the militants will certainly receive the task of returning to their homeland and to Dagestan as well. this is where it will begin. Or rather, it has already begun, let’s see how it goes and how it ends!

Somehow I don’t understand... From the Caspian Sea to Syria it’s no less than 1000 km through the territory of Iran! The range of 3m14 Caliber missiles is 300 km. The question is, where did they fire from and with what missiles?

The range of missiles at sea is shorter since there is no connection to the terrain (the sea is flat). And on land, guidance can be tied to local coordinates (objects, mountains, etc.). Therefore, the range is further.

In this situation, there is something to replace the Iskander if something happens.
Apparently, based on the results of the shooting, the United States said that let Turkey deal with our aircraft itself, they say, it has the ability to do this.
In short, NATO has shown what its support is worth.

It has always been surprising why this fleet has been constantly updated in recent years and at the moment was the newest and quite serious. Of course, you can expect anything from Iran, but I didn’t believe that it was against Iran...
No matter how much we scold our authorities, there is still a cluster of those among them who think forward and do everything right, despite all the opposition.

This is a significant event comparable to the tomahawk attack on Iraq. This is a milestone in the development of non-nuclear weapons. This moment did not happen for the militants. This is a demonstration launch for our competitors and neighbors: Turkey, Ukraine, Saudi Arabia, Eastern Europe, China, Japan, Scandinavian countries. Each of these launches is monitored by many countries because... Only the United States had a monopoly on such weapons.

There are rumors that 2600 km is also with a landmine, it’s just that either the mass of the warhead is less, or the missile itself is longer. And the option with a self-propelled unit flies for 3000 km, or even more. Believe it or not, it's up to everyone. Only the Garnet with the SBC flew 40 km 2500 years ago, I don’t think that during this time the range was only increased by 100 km hi

The caliber flies 300 km, as in all sources. Although the missile itself is similar to a tomahawk and in terms of performance characteristics it is subsonic, so it can easily charge for 2000 km. It would be interesting to speculate on this topic. Do you think it really came from the Caspian Sea?

What was very impressive: the shooting was carried out through the territory of other countries. That is, there was absolute confidence in the reliability of the missiles. By the way: was it coordinated or did they shoot “brazenly”? Here is the number if the missiles bypassed all observation points and no one saw them! Has anyone protested the missiles flying across their territory? When I saw the "fireworks" I went crazy with the thought - this is not a test, exercise, etc. This is a combat application.
Before this, the terrorists probably still had some deeply utopian hope of somehow taking revenge on our pilots in Syria or somehow resisting them (though how, I don’t know). Now that hope has simply evaporated. Because in addition to Feda Emelianenko, a special forces soldier with MSL entered the octagon.

I don’t know where they got there, but the very fact of shooting is already pleasing. It’s better to train on real targets than to play a war game on maneuvers.

Now let the various Saudis scratch their turnips and think whether it’s worth messing with us - “Caliber” might even fly into the bedroom window of some particularly violent-headed sheikh, having strayed from its course

So, they are Saudi spooks, they declared war on Russia, and the GDP sent an answer. Well, at the same time, there is a demonstration and advertisement saying that our cookies are the pietiest.

I'm shocked. Well, no one is interested in this. But it would be interesting to see Obama, McCain, Merkel and other husks. They are generally in a panic there, apparently. So them!!! I'm waiting for the news at 21-00. good drinks

This is the approach, this is the scope. Even from the Khazar lake they send greetings. Although it is clear that the targets were in Syria, and the recipients were in other places.

I can imagine how scared the people were when such “shaitans” flew overhead laughing

The Kurds accepted the Iraqi norms - they immediately understood where it was coming from and where it was flying https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6zIKziWYVx8

Yes, and what will Mr. “Professor” tell us about this, otherwise he was very “worried” about our airfield and planes in Syria.

But what will they say, as usual, probably - they didn’t shoot at all, they’re lying, if they shot at the wrong thing, if they shot at the wrong thing, then they didn’t hit.

The Aerospace Forces demonstrate their power every day, now the Navy has demonstrated it to me personally, deeply and decisively, no matter what the liberals write on the tape or on another resource. Let them write, but we actually deliver blows. I am only waiting now for our ground forces to demonstrate their power, preferably from the Donbass to Kyiv, and there they will hang the freaks Turchinov and the egg sniffer on Khreshchatyk, let Poroshenko live and work as a watchman at his confectionery factory. I'm kidding, of course. But Putin has a triumph today!!! Uncle Vova said it, and immediately did it, and with great success. Bravo, Comrade Commander-in-Chief! In the next elections, all patriots will vote for you.

I read it and realized that it’s time to cancel telemetry for a while and use the Bulava with multiple warheads from Barents to Kamchatka. It needs to be tested in action. “The Sun” does not need to be lit, but the threshold of hell is worth showing. Otherwise, they still strive for heaven, as if hell does not exist.

As I understand it, preparations are underway, among other things, for combat operations in bad weather. I mean the sandstorms that are predicted next. month. It is written that the missiles also work in bad weather conditions. Question: are similar attacks possible during local sandstorms and how much does the accuracy drop? I also wonder how long it takes to “recharge”.
