The defense ministers of Kazakhstan and Israel have agreed to jointly manufacture drones

In Tel Aviv, within the framework of the official visit of the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Israel, a meeting of the heads of defense departments of the two countries and a ceremony of meeting with the participation of the guard of honor took place, Tengrinews.kz reports.

Imangali Tasmagambetov congratulated Avigdor Lieberman on his appointment to the post of defense minister and wished him success in strengthening the state’s military security. According to the head of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, our countries have a good diplomatic relations just under a quarter of a century. Over the years, a tremendous journey has been made. There is close cooperation between Kazakhstan and Israel in all spheres.

"As you know, the main condition for the productive development of any state is its security. It is quite natural that we are interested in developing relations in the field of defense with your country. For this we have a solid legal base in the field of military-technical cooperation," said Tasmagambetov .

At the meeting, the heads of the defense departments of Kazakhstan and Israel discussed issues of mutual interest, in particular, concerning bilateral relations.

It is noted that the Kazakh army is moving along the path of developing the level of mobility and effectiveness in combat training. In this regard, the study of the Israeli experience in attracting special forces for crisis response operations represents a unique platform for realizing the goals set. Also one of the important areas is the exchange of information in the field of security.

The issue of the production of high-tech weapons. During the meeting, agreements were reached on the joint production of unmanned aerial vehicles on Israeli technology in Kazakhstan. As the world experience of the use of UAVs for both military and civilian purposes shows, there is a need to organize assembly production and technical support for tactical UAVs.

"This project will be implemented in Astana at an aviation-technical center, which has the necessary production capacity and personnel potential for organizing assembly production and servicing of UAVs, subject to obtaining appropriate technologies and training of specialists," said the Minister of Defense of Kazakhstan during the meeting.

In addition, there is an agreement to train the Kazakh military on the basis of the Israeli Center for the training of UAV operators.

In turn, the Israeli Defense Minister noted that this visit will have a positive effect on the further development of the interaction of defense departments.

"We value our historical relations and your state as the most striking example, which was able to realize tolerance on such a scale, where all faiths and nationalities exist peacefully. We dream that in the Middle East there was just such an understanding of tolerance. This is all thanks to the President of Kazakhstan. Everything related to military-technical cooperation, we are more than welcome and will try our best to implement the plans. Modern warfare differs from the previous one in that without precision weapons armies cannot be successful, "said Avigdor Lieberman.

Within the framework of the official visit, the Kazakh military delegation headed by the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan visited a number of leading companies of world manufacturers of military equipment: Elbit Systems, a company for the development and modernization of various types of weapons, UAV systems, avionics, and radar, takes part in the development of space reconnaissance satellites; company "Rafael" - for the production of missile and aviation technologies of air defense systems, tactical missile weapons.

Is that a joke? We ourselves do UAV-based drones (they have a lot of experience).

But Elbit drones offered Russia, but she did not want to hear about Elbit and chose the ancient Sercher. Kazakhstan has huge territories and drones they need appropriate.

No, I'm serious. Are you sure that the Kazakh UAVs will definitely give way to ours? Me not.
Some indicators will exceed. A UAV is not a decisive weapon, rather an auxiliary one, but an increase in the effectiveness of using a weapon and saving lives. It is not worth neglecting, especially since the required amount will not be large pieces of 10 - 100.

We ourselves do not do them badly, and our tanks do not need them, just in case.

Kazakhstan is quite capable of mastering the production of drones. There are human reserves, production, in my opinion, will be established without any problems, well, then they can start to make their own, the main thing is that they occupy a niche, but there will be no doubt.

The article indicates that the production is assembly. And in order to produce ourselves, you need to be able to do components for assembly and control systems and software. So it won't be soon for RK "to do it by itself."

This news, alas, fades, against the background of another, which appeared in the media today. Sorry, colleagues, that is a little off topic:

A division of the Ukrainian army created a military catapult for use in the so-called Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) zone in the east of the country. This was reported on Facebook by volunteer Alexei Mochanov.

“One of the punitive units is finishing production and testing in combat conditions not a crossbow, no. Catapults! Able to spit out a few tens of kilograms of TNT soundlessly and without flash from a volley towards the enemy, ”he wrote.

According to Mochanov, among the advantages of the catapult is the impossibility for the enemy to detect the firing site and strike back. “The disadvantages are the short flight range of the ejection refueling. And the lack of study of the issue by the experts of the Minsk negotiation process ”, - added the volunteer.

Close cooperation was established between Kazakhstan and Israel in all areas.

From this cooperation (of course, not to the detriment of Russian interests) Kazakhstan will only benefit. It's just interesting why Kazakhstan pulled to the Middle East, and even more so to Israel? Probably also found Jewish roots? Now it is politically fashionable.

So many Jews lived here. And now even the Orthodox (in hats and pigtails) from Israel can be found.
This is not the first experience of cooperation with them, unfortunately not always positive. It is desirable to produce something serious on the spot (the engine would be great). And so, it is possible to hack such production by Israel and its allies quickly. I believe that the CSTO itself should be engaged in such developments if some of the small countries have interest. There were drones still under the Union, so there is experience and it is not worth spraying a total of meager budgets for such things. There is complexity only in electronic. stuffing and engine - is it really so difficult that we can not cope in the EAEU !? hi
The military-industrial complex of the USSR was the best, so why do we need foreign aid, the RK must, together with the Russian Federation and others, deal with such things. Because Israel will not prepare personnel for the creation of such things.

Salam, in general, all these "gestures", preparation for the state visit of the Prime Minister of Israel to Kazakhstan.
IMHO, UAVs, this small part is in the defense industry, and there is cooperation in other areas, defense and the civilian sphere.

          Here, pretty interesting.
Prior to this, there were negotiations with the Chinese side on UAVs and transport aircraft.
This is Israel, although our center for the construction of UAVs is already functioning, and according to unverified data, specialists from their side have been spinning there for a long time.
Perhaps these are those who teach in the Orbiter, which we have for a long time.

I saw a Chinese drone on Cadex, it seems from Norinco. Perhaps ours do not fully trust the Chinese to order such equipment from them, or perhaps somewhere there is a corruption component.
By the way, Rafael’s booth was empty at the exhibition for civilians, while the booth of another company from Israel worked with light drones and a very pleasant employee named Jonathan told everyone about his products.

I can’t master these innovations yet wink
We’re not just trying to work in parallel with the two countries, the Chinese UAV didn’t show themselves badly in IRAQ, but there are operators there, the Chinese say.
Two countries, one only sell the other and the assembly can offer.
The right step, sucks that there are no queues of countries that can offer something alternative. USA is all through congress, Europeans are the same.

Well done, Kazakhs will now buy UAVs from Israel (the USA will not object to this and will give permission for sale) and then one of these UAVs will be given to us for study smile
So quietly, bypassing sanctions from the United States and the EU, Western military technologies enter Russia .... lol

(The US will not object to this and will give permission to sell)

Well, well, firstly, the United States "hacked to death" the purchase of the UAV Predator and Tsesna Kombat Caravan.
Secondly, we comply with our obligations to transfer technology to third parties. If the contract describes this. Note that we have not been noticed in technology scandals.

And the main thing - to have an idea of technologies does not always mean the ability to use them.
A classic example is Soviet cars and household appliances. =)
