International Criminal Court issues an arrest warrant for Moammar Gaddafi

The chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi on suspicion of committing crimes against humanity during attacks on insurgents opposing Gadhafi’s authority. The same charges were also brought against the son of Gaddafi Seif-al-Islam and the head of the Libyan security forces Abdullah Al-Senusi.

Doubt no more. The fate of the Libyan leader is engaged in international justice. The chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Luis Moreno-Ocampo, stopped weeks of speculation, saying that Gaddafi and "his entourage" - one of his sons and the chief of security services - committed a "pre-planned" murder of unarmed protestors, which, he said, constitutes a crime against humanity.

At a press conference in The Hague, where the International Criminal Court is sitting, Moreno-Ocampo said that he has evidence that Gaddafi “personally” ordered the execution of civilians.

"Evidence suggests that Muammar Gaddafi personally ordered the attack on unarmed Libyan civilians." His troops attacked civilians in their homes and public places, fired on demonstrators weapons, used heavy ammunition against members of funeral processions and had snipers in place to kill people leaving the mosques after prayer, ”the chief prosecutor of the Hague court said.

The arrest warrant for Gaddafi was issued at a record speed, just two and a half months after the start of the Gaddafi offensive against the opposition, which tried to overthrow his 42-year regime. Warrant issued by the UN Security Council.

There was a hunt for dissidents

According to the Hague prosecutor, there is evidence that attacks on civilians continued in those parts of Libya that were under the control of Gaddafi’s forces after the raids began aviation NATO, which is supposed to stop Gaddafi’s advance in the territory controlled by the rebels. Moreno-Ocampo said that in areas controlled by Gaddafi’s forces, there was a hunt for dissidents, and many of them were sent to prison, where they were tortured.

Speaking of Gaddafi’s son Seif al-Islam and intelligence chief Abdullah Al-Senusi, Moreno-Ocampo said that they were involved in decision-making.

“His eldest son, Seif al-Islam, is actually the prime minister of Libya. Al-Senusi, who is Gaddafi’s son-in-law and his right hand, is the chairman of military intelligence, he personally ordered the attacks. The prosecutor’s office has documents confirming that the three of them held meetings at which they planned and directed these operations, ”the chief prosecutor noted.

In Libya, these messages were met critically, noting that the International Criminal Court is a tool to harass African leaders.

"... Muammar Gaddafi personally ordered the attack on unarmed Libyan civilians. His troops attacked civilians in their homes and public places, fired at demonstrators with military weapons, used heavy ammunition against funeral processors, and deployed snipers to kill people leaving from mosques after prayer, "- said the chief prosecutor of the Hague court."

But the chief prosecutor completely forgot that Nicolas Sarkozy, along with Barack Obama, gave orders to kill the Libyan civilian population, shoot Libyans with military weapons from airplanes, use Tamahawk aircraft carriers and missiles against civilian Libyans, their special services hired snipers to wreak havoc among the bought ones. The CIA of the demonstrators, embittered them even more, that is, did everything to kill ordinary Libyan citizens, essentially carried out the genocide of the Libyan people. That's how everything in today's world is turned upside down. Thieves and murderers execute the innocent, shouting and screaming at the same time, that he is the main culprit! It is annoying that Russia indulges these cries and, moreover, plugs its ears with the position: I see nothing, I hear nothing, I will not tell anyone (and even the truth)!
