Russian troops have significantly stepped up operations in the Kharkov region. The Ukrainian General Staff in its morning report voices data that the Russian military aviation inflicted a series of strikes on positions and objects of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kupyansk direction. The Ukrainian armed formations, which were located in the area of ​​​​the settlements of Kotlyarovka and Tabaevka, fell under the blows. These are villages that adjoin the road connecting Svatovo (LPR) with Kharkov Kupyansk from the western and eastern sides.

For the first time in a long time, Kucherovka and Kurilovka were mentioned in the reports of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. These settlements adjoin directly to Kupyansk from different directions.

The official representative of the Ukrainian General Staff, Alexander Shtupun, announced the shelling of these settlements by Russian troops and "the repulsed attack in the Sinkovka area."
