The British Ministry of Defense announced the "key role" of Brimstone 2 missiles in deterring the offensive of the Russian army

Delivered by Great Britain to Ukraine weapon has one, but very important task - it must stop the offensive of the Russian army. Thus, the Ministry of Defense of the United Kingdom commented on the shipment of Brimstone 2 missiles to Kyiv.

Britain sent to Ukraine a new batch of second-generation Brimstone precision-guided missiles, which differ from the first in their range. This became known on November 22, "Military Review" reported on the delivery in one of its news materials.

The British Ministry of Defense decided to comment on military assistance to Ukraine, saying that all the weapons that are sent to Kyiv should deter the advance of the Russian army and are doing it perfectly. In particular, the delivered Brimstone 2 missiles played a certain "key role" in this. True, the British did not give any explanations, forgetting to add on which sector of the front the British high-precision missiles stopped this very offensive.

As part of the aid package, the UK provided the Armed Forces with Brimstone 2 precision-guided missiles. This assistance played a key role in deterring the Russian offensive.

- said in a statement.

As previously reported, Brimstone 2 missiles are aviation means of destruction and are traditionally used from Tornado and Typhoon aircraft, with a range of up to 60 km. In the variant for Ukraine, they are transmitted in the variant of the ground complex with a range of 12 km. Trucks or other ground platforms are used for launching.

Another sect is being organized? Either the "holy" Javelenna, or the "similar" Hymers. Now the "immaculate" Brimstone? Russia can only be defeated by Russia and this is a fact.

So the range is only 12 km in the ground version. This means that their launchers will be in the affected area of our artillery. The most common art.
And what will be the key role then? Another Goebels propaganda.

PS Here is an air launch - already more seriously. If Svidomites have something left to launch and who to launch ....

This means that their launchers will be in the affected area of our artillery. The most common art.

in forelocks, they are mounted on pickup platforms, that is, they are highly mobile. Given the distance, taking into account mobility (time to exit, deploy, launch and leave), as well as our slowness in hitting targets with artillery, I think the probability of destroying launchers can only be purely random.
And what will be the key role then? Another Goebels propaganda.

well, at least in the fact that with their help you can easily thwart any attack of our forces. Do not underestimate the rocket. She has enough advantages.

so deputy Markov said so - we still cannot defeat Ukraine, because there are also Russian soldiers on the other side. and the Russian soldier is invincible. if you take it literally, some kind of sour perspective looms

There are many of these sects... the Saint Abrams sect, the F16 sect, the immaculate Patriot sect, etc.
All of them should be sent straight to their guru... to Bandera.

Well, what kind of people, they didn’t have time to stage it, but they are already shouting about some kind of “key role”. The desire to show their significant role in the conflict and, of course, to advertise their products for the future is what lies behind such statements.

rotmistr60 hi, that's right, you need to show up in front of the "comrades" in the caudle, like, look at what a barefoot push we did to the Ukrainians))) Well, the second is to "pinch" Russia, they say, we will do what we want, deliver what we want and you won't do anything to us.

Yes, at least let them hammer nails into it. We then what. Britos just need to be promoted with these missiles. The range of ground use is not impressive.

And yet, all the same ... "Brimstone", like the "Javelin", is a modern weapon that demonstrates the concept of further development of anti-tank missile weapons! It has been in NATO for decades, but has anything been done in Russia against it over these decades? Is there really no "reception" against such a "wonder weapon"? Or is the reason more banal, but no less outrageous?
The main seeker of the "Brimstone" is the active radar seeker of the Ka-band ... an anti-missile type MNTK would serve as a good means of counteraction ... It is desirable that the Russian "MNTK" "work" in 3 modes: 1. active; 2. semi-active; 3. passive ... It is possible to use a combined guidance method; that is, the addition of semi-active laser homing! In this case, "MNTK" can also be used against "javelin-like" missiles ... moreover, the laser guidance beam can also serve as a means of "illuminating" the missile's IR. by placing "antennas" on the surface of the anti-missile warhead ...

The British Ministry of Defense announced the "key role" of Brimstone 2 missiles in deterring the offensive of the Russian army

In the Black Sea basin (or somewhere else), we can fully implement the option of containing the presence of British warships with the help of Russian "Daggers" and "Zircons". Why not?!
The stick is always double-edged and there is nothing to be afraid of.
If someone on the banks of the Thames sees the image of Russia as an enemy, then we also have a chance to abstract the concepts of “British partners” into the phrase “British enemies”.

This assistance played a key role in containing the Russian advance.

Typical lies! There have been no Russian offensives in the last eight months. And eight months ago, nothing but helmets, walkie-talkies and javelins - the West did not supply the Chewbaccas.
The deliveries of serious weapons began precisely when the Russian group got stuck and stopped the offensive, moreover, it began to retreat and surrender the occupied cities: that's when the West began these unprecedented arms deliveries, realizing that it was safe.
