There are reports of a strike on the airfield of the city of Krivoy Rog in the Dnepropetrovsk region. Earlier, the Ukrainian side stepped up aviation sorties from the Dnepropetrovsk region to deliver strikes, including on the line of contact in the Zaporozhye region. At the same time, the enemy lost several aircraft, but activity at the air base in Krivoy Rog remained quite high.

As a result of the strike, a number of objects at the airfield of the mentioned city were defeated, including the premises used by the technical personnel and the fuel service, the control tower.

So far, there is no information about how weapons airfield was hit. It is assumed that loitering ammunition could be involved. The enemy side shows pictures of the affected object from the angles that it chose itself, without showing the damage inflicted on aviation and the airfield runway, as well as logistics systems.

In the Ukrainian press, earlier there were notes that there had been an airstrike using Kh-59 missiles. This information has not been officially confirmed.

Earlier, we recall, several strikes were made on hydraulic structures in the same Krivoy Rog. We are talking about the dam of the Karachunovsky reservoir. After those strikes, the water level in the Ingulets River rose significantly, washing away several crossings induced by enemy troops.
