Methodically and quite openly building up army units on the borders, publicly announcing the transfer of imported portions of military equipment and warning their citizens that it is about to begin. The Ukrainian leadership has no choice but to get on the nerves of Western partners with the next “oh, they will conquer us soon!”.
And Zelensky can be understood - instead of real help, very symbolic weapons and new portions of threats of unprecedented sanctions against Russia are coming into the country.
After all, no one takes the Javelins and the artillery rubbish that the Europeans roll into Ukraine seriously for real weapon against the Russian army?
The total volume of supplies of so-called lethal weapons (I wonder where the Americans supplied non-lethal weapons) will fit in several S-130 transports. There are no armored vehicles, no aircraft, no serious air defense systems.
We are not talking about a potential no-fly zone, for example, like Libya. There is a complete feeling that Europeans and Americans confused Ukraine with an African country, which can be stuffed with junk, if only to maintain a hotbed of war.
This is also understood in Kiev, pointing to the fragility of the country's defense in the event of an "attack from the east."
So, a local political scientist Viktor Savinov spoke about the real capabilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which are not able to cover the country from any strategic direction. The fleet has only 20-mm guns and is not able to stop the landing of Russian troops on the coast. V aviation an even bigger failure - for the whole country there are no more than 77 aircraft conditionally ready to fight.
Therefore, only NATO forces can be the only defenders of the Ukrainian army in case of trouble. And they, as you know, are by no means ready to fight for a buffer country with Russia.
No wonder - that's why it is a buffer country, so that a potential adversary gets stuck in it. They are trying to scare the Kremlin only with “unprecedented” sanctions from the very hell that Joe Biden has long been raving about.
From the latest from the American president - "Putin has never seen sanctions like those that I promised would be introduced", because "this will be the most serious event that has happened in the world since the Second World War." From the pathos of his own rhetoric, Biden definitely grows cloudy in his eyes.
It is quite clear to any analyst that such gigantic forces, with which, in the opinion of the West, Russia has overlaid Ukraine, are completely redundant for an invasion. Considering the level of the Ukrainian army, two or even three times smaller forces are enough for Russia to capture this country.
In the end, Ramzan Kadyrov has already proposed a scenario where the Ukrainian issue would be resolved by the forces of Chechen units. And I think he was not far from the truth.

Of course, all of the above applies only to the situation of NATO's military non-intervention in a hypothetical conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

Now the situation is more like a theatrical production, which, firstly, is poorly directed, and secondly, completely unrehearsed.
The West has unlearned for 30 years to communicate with uncompromising Russia and is behaving awkwardly. First of all, on the information front, trying to twist the degree of tension to the maximum.
The British Foreign Office, focusing, as usual, on nothing, claims that the Russian special services are predicting the former Ukrainian deputy Yevgeny Muraev as the new leader of Ukraine. Allegedly, everything has already been decided in the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service - in the event of an invasion, people from Muraev’s close circle and himself will enter the “occupation cabinet of ministers”.
The fact that the Kremlin’s chosen one has been under Russian sanctions for more than three years is not known in the Foreign Office, or they do not want to remember. Actually, as well as about a short stories Ukrainian statehood, which in England was awarded several centuries at once.
The head of the local Foreign Ministry, Liz Truss, on a blue eye expressed solidarity with the Ukrainian people and said that the country had already experienced several invasions - "from the Mongols to the Tatars." Bloomberg was also able to annoy China, which allegedly does not care about the fate of Ukraine - the main thing for Xi Jinping is that no one should overshadow the information background of the Olympiad. Both Beijing and Moscow have already refuted this stuffing, but the overly liberal public has a residue left.
Despite the fact that this is an obvious fake, in the information duel between Russia and the West, the opponent is still leading. The logic of such, as the Russian Foreign Ministry aptly put it, "garbage streams" is very simple - throw out such newswhich no official can refute.
How to prove to Putin and Xi Jinping that they did not agree on the Olympic Truce?
The justification itself looks like an indirect confession. Russia is trying to artificially expose the guilty in all troubles.
At the climax of the performance, the Americans came up with the idea of evacuating the embassy from Ukraine. The news was circulated for several days, the State Department theatrically waiting for a reaction, simultaneously refuting rumors about the export of diplomats.
There was no reaction from Russia, but the evacuation nevertheless began, though not in full. Still, they expected an escape similar to the Afghan case, but no - everything is completely different.
Firstly, far from the entire diplomatic corps is being evacuated, and secondly, this is a purely voluntary action. The paradox is that in Brussels they did not find a reason for the export of diplomats from Ukraine, but nevertheless paved the way for a similar operation. The British and Australians are also in the game and defiantly leave the walls of their offices. The Russians, of course, are the most guilty in this story and they are responsible for the consequences.
Only one question - if everything is so bad, why don't the Americans evacuate their diplomats from Moscow?
Will the war begin, which is so shouted in the West, Washington will impose those very sanctions “from hell”, and the diplomatic mission employees will remain in Russia?
Russia's adequate response may be the deportation of Foreign Ministry employees from the Baltic countries, demonstrated to the whole world. Let them think about what it would be for. However, the Kremlin is silent so far.
So far, everything seems not even to test the nerves of the Russian leadership, but to prepare an appropriate background for sending a written response to the demands of the Foreign Ministry. This is where we are talking about the rollback of NATO to the borders of 1997, about guarantees that Ukraine will not be admitted to the alliance, and much more.
The Americans have already notified Russia that there will be a response, but they ask that it not be made public.
Or ashamed of the content, or is it again part of the provocation. Even if the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation decides to tell about the piece of paper from the State Department in detail and publicly, everything will be deployed exactly the opposite and declared a lie.
In this situation, the Ukrainians are the worst. At first, it is bad for the establishment, which was frankly abandoned.
So, Kuleba, the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, is indignant at the development of events:
“Recent German statements about the impossibility of transferring defensive weapons to Ukraine, in particular through granting permission to third parties for this, the futility of returning Crimea, hesitations to disconnect the Russian Federation from SWIFT do not correspond to the level of our relations and the current security situation.”
But the saddest thing is the fate of ordinary Ukrainians, who are first pumped with fear by Zelensky, and then also by overseas “brothers”, recommending that the Americans leave Ukraine as soon as possible. The constant flow of imported aircraft with weapons also does not add confidence in the future. Still, the captain of the KVN team, whom the Ukrainians elected for president three years ago, turned out to be an actor in this bad production, not even a second plan, but only an usher.
