In Ukraine, they urge to take advantage of the rearmament of the armies of the world, offering more advanced products to update their military arsenals that can open new markets for defense products.
Our promising weapon able to enhance the geopolitical power of traditional buyers of Ukrainian military equipment, including India
- noted in the publication Defense Express.
For example, in the case of New Delhi, it is proposed not to be limited to the supply of power plants for warships, such as frigates of the Talwar project or destroyers of the 15A type. It is necessary to supply and promising strike weapons for deck aviation Indian Navy.
We are talking about the supersonic missile "Molniya" of the "air-to-surface" class being developed in Ukraine. Moreover, the Yuzhnoye Design Bureau is trying to adapt it to aircraft of Western or Chinese production. Another product for carrier-based aircraft can be an aviation version of the Neptune anti-ship missile system.
During the presentation this year in India of the project of the fifth-generation TEDBF carrier-based fighter designed to replace the MiG-29K, the armament of the promising aircraft was demonstrated. It consisted of missiles to destroy air targets (ASRAAM and Astra) and radar (Rudram-1 and Rudram-2). However, anti-ship missiles are absent in the ammunition nomenclature.
Accordingly, there is already a niche for our country, there is already a promising market where it would be possible to sell our promising anti-ship missiles
- indicated in the Ukrainian edition.
