Launch of the head patrol ship of the 22160 project postponed to June

39
According to the information of the Internet portal Flotpromsource at the Zelenodolsk plant them. Gorky reported on the adjustment of the launch of the head patrol 22160 project ship almost three months. It is now expected to take place at the end of June.

The withdrawal of the leading ship "Vasily Bykov" from the boathouse is supposed to be 15-16 June 2017, launching at the end of the month.

Then - the docking chamber, mooring trials, driving, and the delivery of the ship the fleet, it turns out, leaves for the next year.

- explained the source.

According to him, the timing of the transfer of the Navy's first production ship, the Dmitry Rogachev, will not change much.

22 September 2016, plant general director Renat Mistakhov announced that the ship launching Vasily Bykov will be held in March 2017, the transfer to the fleet before the end of the year. 20 May 2017, he explained that the first two ships of the project 22160 - "Vasily Bykov" and "Dmitry Rogachev" - are awaiting delivery only at the beginning and end of 2018, respectively.

"Vasily Bykov" was laid 26 February 2014 of the year. The first six ships of the series are supposed to be transferred to the Black Sea Fleet before the 2020 year. In service they will receive, among other things, cruise missiles "Caliber".

We generally rarely rent military equipment on time. And the ship will be more complicated aviation or land equipment. Moreover, the lead ship surrenders with much greater difficulties than serial projects - especially when there is a lot of new weapons and radio electronics.

- said the expert of the "Independent Military Review" in the field of the Navy, Vladimir Shcherbakov.

In his opinion, the development of the modular layout of the project made it possible to apply it on corvettes of the type “Perfect”. At the same time, he pointed out some redundancy for the fleet of Bykov type ships in the presence of the 22800 Karakurt MRC.

The ships of the type "Karakurt" are the heirs of the "Buyana-M" with the best seaworthiness. Do not forget that the "Buyans" were originally created for the Caspian Sea. In addition, these small ships are capable of solving problems of almost strategic importance. More modern "Karakurt" largely eliminate the drawbacks of the "Buyans". You can bet the fleet needs an 22160 project. Initially, it was created as a patrol ship for border guards, and already at its base the fleet ordered what it turns out. We need ships of this class. But whether we need two similar types, projects 22800 and 22160, is the question. There are no such questions for "Karakurt".

A bit later, the fleet and the head MRK of the 22800 project will be transferred: instead of December 2017, the “Hurricane” will be transferred in the first half of 2018.

The patrol ships (corvettes) of the 22160 project were developed by the Northern Design Bureau. The ships are designed to protect and guard the maritime economic zone, they can also perform search and rescue functions, escort ship caravans and fight pirates. When the displacement 1300 tons develop speed to 30 nodes. Sailing range - 6 thousands of miles, autonomy - 60 day. They are designed to ensure comfortable conditions for the crew (up to 80 people). On board can be based helicopter Ka-27PS. As standard weapons, corvettes are equipped with Caliber cruise missile launchers, a new 76,2-mm artillery, an anti-aircraft missile system and machine guns.

Here, in general, a question mark was put, and whether this ship is needed if the 22800 project is already in series and more successful and passed all the tests, unlike the 22160 which all this is yet to come and not tomorrow or even at the end of the year.

The project 22160 has a deck helicopter and this is an advantage. As I understand it, it is them who, in the next 10 years, will sail through Middle-earth in anticipation of 22350 (the construction of 6-8 frigates) and the beginning of preparations for the construction of the 23560th project.

This is a completely different ship, 60 days of autonomous navigation is not available for MRK.
As for me - just to demonstrate the flag and fight all sorts of Somali-Nigerian pirates there. Plus border security, Ukrainian boats there and Sagaidachny to drive from platforms.
Now, if it still had at least some air defense ...

Sagaidachny is unlikely, while he will be served by a chocolate office, access to the sea is contraindicated. )
PS It seems that the Shtil-1 air defense system will be installed or not already?

It seems to be gone. Calmness and habitability with a 60-day autonomous swimming of 1300 (1600?) Tons of displacement will not fit.

We will wait for launching and transfer to the fleet, I think there will be clarifications.
Without official information, nothing is clear, it makes no sense to guess, the main performance characteristics in any case will be announced later.
              UPD.
I look at the bottom, they are also discussing this moment, maybe there will be no stationary air defense, we'll see.

At the same time, he pointed out some redundancy for the fleet of Bykov-type ships in the presence of RTOs of project 22800 Karakurt.

But whether two similar types are needed, projects 22800 and 22160, is a question. There are no such questions for Karakurt.

They still cannot figure out which ships the fleet needs projects for, and we are already used to moving the deadlines to the right.

Delays on the head ship, this is normal. That's why he is the head. As always, a lot of changes are made throughout the play. This must be agreed upon, changes to the drawings, etc. I envy comrades from Zelenodolsk.
Several 22800 Karakurts were transferred by Pella to our factory. Now they are preparing equipment for them. It would seem logical to build steamships for the Black Sea Fleet on the spot.

Delays on the head ship, this is normal.

Why is it normal then? Soon we won’t be able to turn in the rowing boat the first time (we used innovative oars for the oars. You see, the carpenter can’t learn right away, you need to shift to the right ...)
"Karakurt" and you see them, "hi-tech" - it is necessary to shift to the right. 22160 is even more high-tech (even though all the equipment is already serial. Well, maybe except for the EU) ...
And arguments like "why do we need 22160 if we have 20380) are just moronic.
with a smaller displacement, the new corvette surpasses 20380 in almost all respects, while using already mastered units and weapons

Em. 22160 is a patrol officer of the far zone with autonomy of 60 days. There from the PLO - Ka-27, from the air defense system - a sailor with MANPADS Igla, and the 2x40 container from the Gauges is only one of the load options (or maybe a pre-trial detention center for pirates, or modules with a pressure chamber for an accepted group of divers, or just an 2 container traveling to Tartus for example - with all sorts of stuff).

Non-removable weapons 1hAK-176М in the new building and 2 MPTU. Nasal slot on the first ordered in non-removable execution (additional rooms).

By the way, the culprit is the news itself, on a recent bookmark in April.

The patrol officer of the far sea zone is just one of the options, due to the modularity of the project, and for the Black Sea Fleet there are slightly different options
-8pcs caliber, Shtil air defense system 1 24 SAM + "Bend", Ka-27 and other PLO set. 76mm AK is 3/4 frigates 11356 with comparable autonomy and seaworthiness and incomparable price. Is there a normal Ka-27 in the PLO variant or a trimmed ACC sheep in the PS variant?
That is, is there on the ship the ability to receive and process data from a PLO helicopter? Especially when you consider that the initial project was the PSKR, on which the helicopter is used only as an emergency rescue, or assault landing (and indeed the PLO for border guards is a matter of the last degree of importance).

The snap-in, why not "before" but "after." -No. It’s necessary to finalize on a full-scale project. Isn’t the audacity too high at the KB? everything in the sea kingdom.

There is no man. To build a ship from scratch is not a restyling of KAMAZ. Plus, bring it to mind so that the customer wears all the desired pleasures.
And with the Soviet times, why be measured? Do we have the Soviet Union in the yard? Under the Union, we rolled out one of the first workshops on the ship per month. Because the series was on. Considered as a conveyor without thinking.

In addition to the "Karakurt", as the authorities say, it is planned to resume the construction of landing aircraft on the Zubr hovercraft pr12322. There are talk of five units. Well, for now, that would be enough for us. Since I reported that the plant now in fact consists of one (albeit the largest) assembly shop, slip and delivery base. Everything else is in poor condition and needs major repairs. Now, so that it is where these orders are placed in the workshop, the Sokol MPC pr11451 is hastily cut into metal, which was about seventy percent ready, if not more, but not useful. He was dragged from place to place for about seventeen years. So the steamer died before reaching the water (I personally cut off the stern wing for him).
Further expansion of capacities will apparently depend on Pella. Since, after reunification with the Russian Federation, they oversee the plant.

As for you. If we are talking about the “Sivuch” pr1239, then they seem to have not been built. I really didn’t work for about seventeen years, because the plant got up tight, and left for five years in the Murmansk region, but we never heard of such an order. It’s like they were collected in Zelenodolsk. We did "Jeyran", "Squid", "Omar" but then I was too young. Although the repair "Omar" crawl in the supercharger I had a chance. They were planning to build an ekranoplan (the third workshop was spoken under and was imprisoned). What can I say ... Something in the memoirs suffered me. hi
