    Meanwhile, the armed groups of the DPR radically change the tactics of warfare. The main headquarters of the army of the republic decided to move from military operations by small units to full-scale operations with full-fledged formations and military units equipped with a full set of fire support equipment. Three infantry brigades were formed on the basis of existing units.

    A separate volunteer regiment was created from among Ukrainian military personnel who voluntarily went over to the side of the DPR and miners of Donbass, the headquarters noted. The composition of the formed formations and units included units from captured equipment: two tank battalions, three jet divisions, two howitzer self-propelled divisions, three divisions of barreled artillery of various calibers and eight mortar batteries.
