The legendary Mikhail Kalashnikov died

On 95, the legendary designer of infantry passed away. weapons Mikhail Kalashnikov. 17 November, he was hospitalized with a diagnosis of gastric bleeding.
Mikhail Kalashnikov is a world famous designer. His main offspring - a Kalashnikov assault rifle - is recognized as the invention of the century and is depicted on the banners and emblems of some countries. To date, about a hundred countries around the world have adopted and use Kalashnikov assault rifles. Mikhail Timofeevich Kalashnikov was born on November 10, 1919 in the village of Kurya, Altai Territory. In 1936, after graduating from the 9th grade of the school, Mikhail left for Kazakhstan, where he worked at the Matai railway station depot. In the fall of 1938 he was drafted into the army and served in the Kiev Special Military District, graduating from the school of driver mechanics tank. Already there, Kalashnikov showed his inventive abilities - he developed an inertial counter for shots from a tank gun, an adaptation to a TT pistol, and created a device for recording the tank engine’s engine life.
During the last 1941 invention in January, General of the Army G.Zhukov presented a nominal clock to Kalashnikov and sent him to one of the parts of the Moscow Military District, on the basis of which the device was tested. After completion of the test Michael was sent to Leningrad plant im.Voroshilova, for completion and implementation of his invention into production. The Great Patriotic War, Kalashnikov began in August 1941, the tank commander, but in October near Bryansk was seriously wounded and spent several months in the hospital, where he caught fire with the idea of creating his own model of automatic weapons, made sketches and drawings. After the hospital, Mikhail, while on leave for follow-up care, returned to Matai, where in the depot workshops he created a prototype of a submachine gun. A well-known scientist in the field of small arms A. Blagonravov became interested in this Kalashnikov invention.
In 1942, Kalashnikov was sent to serve in the Central Research Grounds for Small Arms of the Main Artillery Directorate of the Red Army. There, with 1945, Michael began developing his automatic weapons. After the competition, his automaton project was deemed worthy of manufacturing, and in 1949, the machine was adopted by the Soviet Army under the name “7,62-mm Kalashnikov assault rifle 1947 of the year” (AK), and Kalashnikov was sent to Izhevsk to work at a machine-building plant, where worked until recently. In subsequent years, dozens of models of automatic small arms, later adopted for service, were developed at the AK base in the Kalashnikov design bureau. Mikhail Timofeevich is also known as a designer of machine guns, and his self-loading hunting carbines "Saiga" gained immense popularity among hunting enthusiasts in our country and abroad. More than a dozen modifications carbines are available now.
Lieutenant-General and Doctor of Technical Sciences Kalashnikov had 35 copyright certificates for inventions and was an academician of 16 various Russian and foreign academies. He was also an Honorary Citizen of Izhevsk, Udmurtia, the Altai Territory and the village of Kurya, was a Deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR several convocations. The winner of many state awards, the Hero of Russia, Kalashnikov was awarded many Soviet and Russian orders and medals, as well as state awards in other countries. In honor of the inventor, the award “Sign“ Designer of Small Arms MT Kalashnikov ”and the Kalashnikov Prize were instituted. In the village of Kurya - a lifetime bronze bust has been set for him, the Kalashnikov Museum and Exhibition Complex has been opened in Izhevsk. His name is carried by the Cadet school of the city of Votkinsk, the audience at the military department of the Mining Institute of St. Petersburg. Kalashnikov was married. His wife Catherine, whom he met at the end of the war, died in 1977.

I was discharged from the Soviet army in 1967 and became acquainted with the AK 47 assault rifle in 1970. Before that, I, like all SVAUL cadets, had SKS, an excellent weapon. I met AK in the police, at first we had police officers, and then I didn’t capture AK 47 and AK 74. Promoted. But the memory of the soft, gentle shooting remained the same tender shooting SKS

If he is not worthy of a funeral on Red Square, WHO IS?

Let the relatives decide where to bury the guys. Not everyone who is buried in the Red Half Square is worthy of it, but that doesn’t matter. Pushkin wrote to the CPC: “I erected a monument to myself not made by hands.” So is Kalashnikov, only Pushkin is not even read all over the world, but the whole world uses the invention of Mikhail Timofeevich.

PS:StG-44 and AK-47 do not need to be compared. The differences inside are all fundamental. There is no need to talk about borrowing. Michal Timofeich was modest, when one of the amateurs (mostly journalists) reminded him of the similarities between the shturgever and the Kalash, he didn’t even enter into controversy, he simply said that most guns from different designers have a barrel and a butt :) and that he can't do anything.

oh, here's the cat, only recently the old-timers of the era, the people of the legend Alyosha (Aleksey Ivanovich Skurlatov) Major Whirlwind (Evgeniy Bereznyak) passed away and now the man of the era, the man of the legend Mikhail Kalashnikov just like they called him with their wife, apparently the heroes are also leaving together. The great people of the great Soviet era are leaving! people whom the entire young generation of young Russia should look up to! Yes, nothing is eternal, not people or eras, but they left their mark in the difficult but victorious history of the USSR and in the entire world history, too, and will live as long as we are alive, our Soviet history, unedited by the West, is alive and our country is alive and thriving! at least these people did everything for this, our task is not to let them down!!
    Eternal memory to heroes !!!

“I created a machine gun to protect the Motherland. Therefore, my conscience is clear.
It is not the machine gun that is to blame for the fact that today both right and wrong things are being done with the Kalashnikov in our hands.
And it’s not my fault that the world is so arranged that people shoot at each other.
And if it weren’t for this, there would be other weapons, but they would kill the same way.
I would like to believe that the weapons I created will be used strictly for their intended purpose: to guard peace, security, honor and justice. And let everyone who ever picks up my machine gun remember the ancient commandment that was stamped on the blades of the swords of Russian heroes: do not take it out without need, do not put it in without glory.
And yet, my main concern and main dream is for the world to become different, for man to change, so that the very nature of human nature is forever left behind by the spirit of aggressiveness and malice. Only then will people be able to direct their energy in a positive direction, for the sake of social progress and the survival of the human race. I dream of a planet Earth inhabited exclusively by human brothers and sisters, whose peaceful coexistence would be built on the principles of creation, creativity, mercy and compassion. So that weapons do not darken and end people’s lives before the allotted time, so that they someday become museum exhibits and rare values, and their place is confidently taken until the end of time by the tools and fruits of the creation of the reasonable, good and eternal!
I want to know, and I sincerely believe that this is exactly what will happen! May our beautiful country Russia prosper and prosper. May peace and goodness prevail throughout the Earth!
With hope for a bright future for Humanity and wishes you, my dear compatriots, a joyful, constructive and happy life."

There is an interesting fact in history:
A hundred years before the creation of the Kalashnikov assault rifle, in 1841, the Russian writer Ivan Timofeevich Kalashnikov wrote a novel called “Avtomat” about the life of the Siberian official Sudbin. At the end of the novel, Sudbin falls ill, and in his delirium it seems to him that he has no soul, that he is an automaton.

He created not just a weapon, the best machine gun in the world, he created a SYMBOL that unites all peoples on Earth in the struggle against misanthropic despotism, against lies and enslavement, against genocide and shameful slavery. He left us, but for many years, decades, and even centuries, every enemy of Russia and the entire Free World will gnash their teeth, tremble and feel horror at his very name.

Patents in the modern sense of the word appeared in 1474 in the Venetian Republic. This year, a decree was issued according to which it was necessary to report inventions implemented in practice to the republican authorities, in order to prevent the use of inventions by others.
In 1624, England issued the “Statute of Monopolies,” according to which patents were issued for “projects for new inventions.” The first US patent law (Patent Act) was published in 1790.
The issuance of privileges for inventions in Russia began in the middle of the 1748th century, the first of which was issued in March XNUMX.
In Russia, the first general “Law on Privileges” appeared in 1812, and in 1830, the law of March 30 established the basic concepts of patent law.

The Lord takes the best. But the Russian land will not be depleted of talents. Eternal memory to a man worthy of being buried at the Kremlin wall, next to the Unknown Soldier and Supreme Commander-in-Chief!
By the way, it was only recently I.V.’s birthday, and just 3 days later another great Russian left us. Good reaches out to good...

Personally, a couple of times I had the opportunity to be at the same holiday table with this truly Russian man... In a narrow circle, he said that a large group of designers, testers from leading design bureaus and GRAU officers took part in developing the design of the machine gun, and his merit was not so great . The most humble person, the kindest soul. The wisdom in him was deep, not just “old man’s”, but real. He had a bunch of awards and fame comparable to the glory of the first cosmonaut, he didn’t boast about it, he was honest and modest. It has become unfashionable... May I rest in peace.

I believe that such articles should be separated from others by a frame, in memory of the “little men”.

Two world-famous citizens of the Russian Federation: M.T. Kalashnikov and Yeltsin. They began their life's journey the same way - in "dispossessed" families, but one did EVERYTHING to make his country prosper, while the other did EVERYTHING to destroy his country.
Eternal memory to the soldier, designer Mikhail Timofeevich Kalashnikov.

    Dear forum users!
This morning, the son of M.T. Kalashnikov firmly declared his intention to bury his father in Izhevsk. But during the day, his decision changed and a message was already transmitted through all channels about the intention to bury the legendary designer in Moscow in a newly opened memorial. Obviously, this decision was made under pressure.

No matter how cynical it may sound, in this way the authorities want to begin “populating” the newly created memorial with new celebrities.
Residents of Izhevsk and Udmurtia consider this decision insulting to the memory of Izhevsk residents and residents of Udmurtia! Mikhail Timofeevich lived in Izhevsk most of his life. Here he created his Glory! It is blasphemy to bury a person against his will a thousand kilometers from the place where he lived and worked! Where are his family and friends? Eternal memory and the Kingdom of Heaven to Kalashnikov! I would like to believe that his work will be continued, there will be worthy successors and successors. Now the name of Kalashnikov is in dire need of protection. The fact is that in some countries of Eastern Europe, some clever businessmen, with the tacit support of politicians, illegally produce Kalashnikov assault rifles, and also on its basis illegally create various models of weapons, which are inferior in quality to real Kalashnikov assault rifles, thus defaming and damaging the dignity and name Kalashnikov. Unfortunately, the Russian government is doing nothing to protect the quality of well-known weapons and stop the illegal production of our machine guns.

From Minsk. Long lives, long biographies are always amazing. But the life and biography of Mikhail Timofeevich Kalashnikov are especially amazing.

Just imagine: the Kalashnikov assault rifle was adopted by Stalin! Putin had not yet been born, and hundreds of thousands of Kalashnikov assault rifles were already being produced. And now there are hundreds of millions of them in all corners of the world. And there is probably no person on the planet who does not know what it is.
Kalashnikov was the most famous of our compatriots. Just imagine that the day before we would have been told that the man who invented McDonald's had died. Or Adidas. Or Mercedes. Kalashnikov was the man who came up with this same universal thing. What Professor Preobrazhensky called “the final piece of paper.” Universal equivalent.
The Kalashnikov assault rifle is even cooler than the iPhone invented by Steve Jobs. iPhones are not yet depicted on state emblems, but the Kalashnikov assault rifle has become a state symbol in some countries.
Should Kalashnikov have been ashamed that his weapons had killed a record number of people in human history? No, he has nothing to be ashamed of. Because a person pulls the trigger. And not with a Kalashnikov, but with something else, these people would still have been killed.
Kalashnikov could only be proud of both his life and his biography. But your country has something to think about. Because who else in the world is known besides him? No one. What else have you invented, designed and built in recent years? What Russian brands, companies, products are known somewhere outside your country. None. Maybe caviar and vodka.
You are now going to spend 20 trillion on weapons, and Dmitry Rogozin complains that you cannot make new machine guns and invent gunpowder, because Kalashnikov has created such reserves that for a hundred years after his death you will be able to shoot at all enemies at once.
So maybe there’s no need to invent machine guns and gunpowder then? Maybe these 20 trillion would help the same geniuses from the people, like Kalashnikov, to invent Russian cars, computers, and discover unprecedented technologies? Otherwise, Kalashnikov will remain the last Russian, who is known all over the world, and who came up with a universal final thing.
