Incompetence and unwillingness to learn the experience of war as the main problem of our army

Well, why do we have only the president responsible for everything? Why is it that any issue that can and must be resolved by a not at all big commander or boss is not resolved without the personal participation of President Putin?

Bungling, bordering on betrayal in Makiivka, when more than 200 people were out of action due to the fault of some slob with big stars. Of these, according to official figures, 89 were killed! The figures are not final, 50 people are still missing.

Over 200 motivated and trained fighters! More than 200 someone's fathers, husbands, children! They died before reaching the front. How could it happen that within reach not only the MLRS, but also the usual barrel artillery, the fighters were settled in one building? Moreover, for greater danger, placing ammunition and 5 tons of fuel in the same place.

I just learned that after the report on the incident, President Putin instructed the military and the Investigative Committee to conduct an investigation and present the results by January 6th. I’m wondering, does anyone in the operation zone doubt that there are a lot of traitors in the rear? That the civilian population is leaking information about our troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with might and main?

Only fools can consider the enemy a fool

The worst thing in the army is a stupid executive commander who considers the enemy a fool. 10 months of the war taught the personnel that there are no safe places on the front line and in the rear. As there are no places where you can refuse the regime of secrecy. As one of the participants in the SVO put it in a personal conversation, considering the enemy a fool is personally dangerous for oneself and criminal in relation to one's unit.

Any of those commanders who are now fighting in Ukraine will absolutely tell you the elementary rules for the deployment of personnel, weapons and fuel depots. They received this knowledge not from charters and instructions, the enemy also knows these charters very well, but with their own blood and the blood of their brothers.

I am sure that among those reading these lines there is a very small percentage of those who have never heard of the dangers of using smartphones and other electronic devices. I think that the soldiers also knew everything very well. So the version that the guidance happened precisely because of mobile phones, to put it mildly, looks silly.

But the version with local gunners deserves special attention. Already because somehow unexpectedly quickly a photograph of the destroyed vocational school building appeared in Ukrainian Internet resources. Yes, and the GUR MOU in his first message stated the same. The version is quite probable.

An even greater crime was committed by the commander who placed the equipment directly near the location of the personnel. What he was guided by is more or less clear. In the event of a combat alert, the crews could theoretically quickly bring equipment to a safe place. And practically? Equipment in the area of artillery work is an excellent and even a priority target.

And finding such a target is quite easy even for satellites. Here is another version of events. Someone doubted that on holidays the enemy is activated? That he will look for any “weakness”, any opportunity for a resounding victory? Why is armored vehicles not such a goal?

Returning to the experience of the war and the skills of commanders and fighters, I will give an example of a recent attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on one of the units, described by one of the military correspondents in the Telegram channel.

"For example. The other day, one unit was attacked by the Armed Forces of Ukraine using drones and artillery. Men have been fighting for a long time, so they themselves spent the night in the basements, the equipment was buried. So in the end, we didn’t lose anything or anyone.”

The main enemy is incompetence

I am amazed at the attitude of some commanders towards the war, even after so many months of fighting. Some joke. Indifference. And the roots of this lie in the incompetence of commanders and chiefs. In self-assured incompetence. In the same principle known since Soviet times. I'm the boss - you're shit. You're the boss - I'm shit.

Sometimes I get the impression that officers arriving in a combat zone, even with combat experience in other conflicts, are completely unaware of the specifics of the NMD. And this war is really very different from those that were fought before. A sort of hybrid, reminiscent of the Second World War and at the same time using so many new methods and forms of database maintenance that the head is spinning.

Isn't it time to teach not only soldiers and sergeants, but also officers? To teach exactly what features of the enemy's actions were revealed during the operation. To learn from the examples of the work of the corps of the People's Republics and those units and subunits that have been fighting since the beginning of the operation. How many lives could we save if such courses were organized at the very beginning of the NWO ...

Completely delusional publications have already appeared that Russia decided to fill up Ukrainian army units with corpses and win the war this way. It is clear that this is the "work" of the Ukrainian special services. But surely there will be people who will believe in this nonsense. There will be those who will have thoughts about the weakness of our army.

One more thing. How will commanders and bosses look the president in the eye now? And not only those who are exemplary, for the sake of others, will be punished after January 6th. But also those whose direct duty is to look for talented and competent commanders and appoint them to the appropriate positions. After all, they framed the head of state to the fullest. President Putin very often talks about the highest priority - saving people!

Instead of conclusions

Peace to the ashes of the fallen soldiers and a speedy recovery to the wounded. Condolences to the families. And punishment for the guilty. Any crime, and this is a military crime during the period of hostilities, has a name, surname, position. There is no need to think that "the war will write everything off." One should not think that other events will help to forget the deaths of these servicemen.

The inability to learn from the war, to perceive the experience of combat operations and incompetence have been and remain the main problem of our army. And this problem should not be hushed up. She needs to decide! The concept, which is referred to in combat reports as "unnecessary losses in the zone of the operation," must disappear! The life of a soldier must be valued.

Well, for those who are now beginning to resent. Let me remind you the words of President Vladimir Putin:

“I ask you to take into account criticism and correctly, in a timely manner, respond to it. It is clear that the reaction of people who see problems, and problems in such a large, complex work, of course, always appear, such a reaction can be emotional. But, of course, we need to hear those who do not hush up the existing problems, but seek to contribute to their solution.”

It looks a little stupid, just the statement that it is enough to hear something or even know something in order to do the right thing. Everyone knows that, for example, you have to stand at a red light, that you can’t drive while drunk, etc. and so on. And what is the use of this knowledge? Many do exactly the opposite.
Taking into account the enemy’s significant electronic capabilities, the likelihood of direction finding of a large number of phones in one place and, as a result, striking that place is a priority.

rounding up and cramming an entire regiment into one vocational school building in a combat zone is treason and a crime. And it was probably not the commanders of this regiment themselves who determined this location for their soldiers. They carried out the order. This decision was made for them from the top and not without the participation of local authorities. That's who you need to deal with first.

The logic of the Ministry of Defense is simple - the serviceman himself is to blame for the death of a serviceman, who, according to the logic of the Ministry of Defense, must be able to survive.

To place a fuel and lubricants and ammunition warehouse 15-17 km from the line of contact with the enemy in a separate building of a former vocational school is the height of unprofessionalism (apparently, while walking in parade columns along Red Square, the last brains of the military leaders were thoroughly beaten off). But this was not enough. The pinnacle of “military thought” was the transformation of this building into a barracks and the placement of personnel in it. (What, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are commanded by a complete clown and a drug addict - why be afraid of them? But we are led by the best commander of all times and peoples - he won’t say it in vain.....) This attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine was carefully prepared. At 00 hours 01 minutes 01 2023, 4 missiles (with HE warheads) fired by the M142 HIMARS complex hit the above-mentioned building. It looked like a nuclear bomb explosion. How someone survived in this hell is like a miracle. Who is to blame and what to do?

Those mobilized are mainly organized into battalions of 500-600 people. Many people have probably seen what remains of the vocational school. Based on this, draw conclusions about losses. Some pro-Russian bloggers on YouTube and TG echoed these figures.
Why does this happen at the 11th month of SBO?
Because the management system has not been rebuilt and the high command has not been replaced.
Why is that? I have only 2 versions: either lack of understanding of the situation, or fear of a military coup.

They bring the dogs together for mating and form units from those mobilized. Because they are commanded by mobilized people, mostly the same mobilized ones, people were called up from civilian life, where they were already from 5 to 20!!! Karl - 20 years old!!!!

Author. Tell me, please, where do the mobilized officers get the “freshness” of their knowledge and the “brightness” of their experience? Half of the mobilized officers, even if they had some experience in combat operations, it was a long time ago, which is almost not true!!! He. this officer, the day before yesterday. the same middle-level manager in some office, so to speak, “finishes off” his military pension with a small bonus for his grandchildren, and someone, in general, has been raising rabbits in his dacha for 10 years already... Command experience, especially in BD conditions. it's like the experience of a practical surgeon. I haven't practiced for a couple of years. That's it, the appendix is already being cut out with shaking hands.

[quote=Herman 4223] New and modernized equipment began to arrive in the troops. (..how much of this new equipment, just a few..and all in parades..)
The number of contract soldiers has doubled. (..the number of 500s also increased..along with new and modernized equipment..)

Let's be honest. This war is not popular among Russians. Patriotic media convince us that this is supposedly a “people’s war,” while everyone understands that most of the volunteers are going to Ukraine, because they have no prospects for earning money in their homeland. Do you know, for example, that in the homeland of “Putin’s fighting Buryats” there is a very difficult social and economic situation? This is one of the poorest regions.
We observe that cases of mass disobedience are frequent among those mobilized. As a rule, these guys have nothing to lose - their regions are also marked as the most unpromising. Hence the insecurity of those mobilized with the necessary things and logical indignation.
Let's admit to ourselves that the whole mess in the army is a consequence of the economic and social mess in Russia as a whole.
