Today, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that he does not exclude the possibility of running for the next presidential term if the amendments to the Basic Law are finally adopted.

The head of state made such a statement on the air of the Russia 1 TV channel.



At the same time, Putin added that he had not yet made a final decision for himself, but still did not exclude the possibility of running for president.

In addition, the head of state said that if the adoption of the relevant amendment (on “zeroing out” the term of the presidency) does not happen, then after two years "instead of normal work, yawing will begin in search of possible successors."
