In Yeysk for the NITKA simulator Spetsstroy builds a military airfield

36
In Yeysk, Spetsstroy is building a new military airfield, on which there will be a NITKA-type simulator designed for the training of pilots-deckers. A similar simulator is now operating in the Crimea, referring to Grigori Naginsky, director of the Federal Agency for Special Construction of the Russian Federation (Spetsstroy), reports RIA News.

"In Eisk, an airfield is being built, on which a special runway will be erected. In Russia, such facilities were not built over the last 30 years," he said.

At the airport, according to Naginsky, a NITKA-type simulator complex will be built to practice deck take-off / landing aviation. In Crimea is the only training complex of this type.

The director of Spetsstroy also said that "the construction of the airfield is planned to be completed in 2012, and the test site as a whole - by 2013."

NITKA is a special ground-based training complex that mimics the deck of an aircraft carrier. Its main purpose is to train pilots to take off / land aircraft on an aircraft carrier.

Igor Kozhin, Commander of the Naval Aviation of the Russian Navy, previously reported that immediately after the commissioning of the training complex a group of Northern pilots will be sent to Yeysk fleet. Among them are young pilots who will pass the initial stage of special. training (mastering the practice of landing on the deck of a cruiser). The simulator will work year-round.

According to Igor Kozhin, the completion of construction in Eisk of the airline complex for MA is scheduled for 2015.

Good news, I think that the idea of building your own aircraft carrier fleet is starting to be realized (I really want it to be so). For the training of pilots "Admiral Kuznetsov, the Crimean" Thread "would be enough, and if more ships appear then Yeisk is just the way. The main thing that would have reached the end is the construction of aircraft carriers.

And how do the Ukrainian military worry?

On the air of the Ukrainian Radio Liberty, Mikhail Samus, deputy director of the Kiev Army, Conversion and Disarmament Research Center, said that Ukraine should determine the highest possible price for using the NITKA training ground in Russia, and it pays relatively little for renting the Ukrainian facility of the Russian Federation - about 500 thousand. With such a lease amount of 15 billion rubles allocated for the construction of its own training and testing base in Yeysk, it will be enough for more than 100 years of operation of the Thread in Crimea. The restoration of friendly ties with Kiev does not prevent the Russian leadership from taking measures aimed at reducing its dependence on defense enterprises and the military infrastructure of Ukraine.

And what will prevent Ukraine from tearing up rent 10 times? IMHO of course

nothing prevents, especially the demand (which creates supply) is growing - the Chinese also now have an aircraft carrier, but there are no training sites.

Cool!!! Yes, and in their own land! In the summer I am going to Dolzhanka. Pilots there often entertain travelers. I'll stop by to see. I’ll grab the binoculars if they don’t let me close.

Well, actually, the Yeisk Flight School was disbanded this year, the airfield too ..... so it's not a fact that you will see.

I’m just curious ... why build a new one, if now the old one can be modernized.

It is likely that it will be so, but only when shipyards with adequate facilities are built.

STAR with its capacities is not suitable for such construction, there are only two options: SEVMASH or the construction of a new shipyard (the second option is expensive).

So they started back in 2009 - it is a heavy fighter with a standard take-off weight of about 30 tons, which is supposed to be equipped at the first stage with 117С engines with a thrust of 14,5 tons, and later more powerful turbines.

        Deck kick (in abbreviation)
To what class the promising Russian heavy aircraft-carrying cruiser will belong is still unknown. The large displacement suggests that catapults and aerofinishers will be installed on the ship. In this case, it is possible that the project 1143.7 Ulyanovsk ship, a CATOBAR-class nuclear-powered aircraft carrier, whose development began in 1984 and was completed due to lack of funding in 1991, could be the basis.

According to the project, the displacement of "Ulyanovsk" was supposed to be 74 thousand tons, and the ship itself was to receive four nuclear power plants. With a length of 323,7 meters, a width of 78 meters and a draft of 10,7 meters, the aircraft carrier was supposed to serve as a base for 70 aircraft, including the Ka-27 and Ka-31 helicopters, as well as the MiG-29K and Su-33 carrier-based fighters and aircraft long-range radar detection and control of the Yak-44. "Ulyanovsk" was supposed to be equipped with two catapults, a springboard and an aerofinisher.

Earlier, some experts suggested that such a fighter could be a carrier-based version of the Russian T-50 (PAK FA), which is being developed by Sukhoi in the interests of the Russian Air Force. In particular, Vice Admiral Shlemov said this in 2009. Nevertheless, if such an aircraft is created, most likely it will not need a catapult for launch either - according to the officially announced characteristics, the PAK FA can use 400-meter runways for takeoff and landing. That is, the springboard for the deck version of the aircraft, obviously, should be more than enough.

No, there are no other similar training complexes for training deck pilots. In general, THREAD is a simplified name, the correct one is IUTKKA, the Ship Aviation Test Training and Training Complex. There are funny stories with abbreviations and names of equipment (weapons). For example, Serpey anti-submarine torpedo missile. A strange name? But in fact the typist who typed the project document made a typo, it should have been "Perseus". The typo was not noticed and the document was approved. And so it remained.

    Here's another dig:

Su-27SM3 and Su-30M2 fighters tested in the Kuban

    December 19 2011

    /AVIA.RU/
December 19, AVIA.RU - Test flights of six new modernized fighters took place at an airbase located near the city of Krymsk. Four Su-27SM3 and two Su-30M2 took to the air, "Rossiyskaya Gazeta" writes.

Two Su-30M2 and 12 Su-27SM3 were delivered to the Kuban as part of the state defense order. As already reported, the last four "dryers" arrived in early December from Komsomolsk-on-Amur.

This summer, the pilots underwent retraining at the Lipetsk center for retraining flight personnel, where they learned to operate these machines.

“So that the base does not remain without pilots, the classes were held in three stages, - says pilot of the Crimean air base Vladislav Pavlov. - Now the entire flight crew has mastered both models. It took a week to study and memorize the location of monitors, switches and levers. we practiced skills on the simulator. "

The cockpit of a combat vehicle is reproduced on computer monitors with millimeter precision. Everything is as close to reality as possible - the electronic panel has indicators of speed, course, altitude. And if the "student" has forgotten something, then you can refer to the most detailed reference materials.

Su-27SM3 is a deep modernization of the Su-27 aircraft and belongs to the fourth generation fighters. It has a more powerful engine, increased maneuverability and range.

But the Su-30M2 is a two-seater combat vehicle, which significantly exceeds its predecessors. Such aircraft can simultaneously hit several targets at once, moreover, not only in the air, but also on the ground or in the water.

According to the pilots, these winged cars are some of the best in the world. The Su-30M2 is equipped with a refueling system in the air and therefore is able to stay in flight without landing for about eight hours. In addition, liquid crystal screens are installed here, which allows to obtain more complete and accurate information about the systems and position of the aircraft during flight.

At the beginning of next year, according to Colonel Igor Gorbul, the head of the press service of the Southern Military District, the air base will receive ten more new Su-30M2 fighters.

Maybe someone will explain why our aircraft carriers did not begin to make a catapult at least on the second "oblique" takeoff? After all, only combat ones will take off from the springboard, and then with incomplete tanks and load. And support? At least the same AWACS do not need something - Or are we so cool that no one will pick us up?
