Tajikistan and Uzbekistan are anticipating American gifts

19

The campaign to reduce the size of the US military contingent in Afghanistan, led by the leadership of the United States.

Moreover, this campaign has been conducted for some time now not only in words. In particular, at 2012 year, a reduction in the number of American troops in Afghanistan by more than 98 thousand people has been documented. The information concerns the primary withdrawal of precisely, let's say, manpower. At the same time, the Americans, at least for the next year, do not plan to take weapons with them. Such information could have contributed to the opinion that the United States is ready to transfer a certain percentage of military equipment, navigation systems and small arms. weapons Afghan army. However, the entertaining tour of Lt. Gen. Vincent Brooks, who heads the Central Command of the US Army, for countries such as Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, shed some light on the future plans of the American leadership.

In all likelihood, the American side is not going to leave weapons to the Afghan soldiers due to their fairly obvious contacts with the Taliban, but decides to “donate” them to Dushanbe and Tashkent. At the same time, the gift will obviously not be gratuitous, since it would be hard to imagine gifts from the White House or the Pentagon at all times, and even more so in today's situation. In confirmation of this, one can consider the results of the meeting of General Brooks with the Chief of the General Staff of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Nadirov and the Minister of Defense of Uzbekistan Mr. Berdiev. The results are as follows: Brooks promised to transfer to Dushanbe and Tashkent a large number of reconnaissance, artillery systems, armored vehicles, UAVs, small arms, equipped with night control devices for targets. From Dushanbe and Tashkent, information was received that Brooks "would like to help" the Uzbek and Tajik army in their modernization and further improvement. At the same time, Mr. Brooks’s desire is connected with the opening of military training centers, as well as the deployment of very large military bases in these Central Asian countries.

And now, please tell me if there has already been a similar situation in recent times with similar “gratuitous” assistance from the American side on the territory of other Republics of the former Soviet Union. Shortly before Mikhail Saakashvili’s “well-considered” decision on the attack on South Ossetia, the American servicemen also “helped” to modernize the Georgian army. However, after the operation failed by Saakashvili’s troops, the American officers, who were preparing the Georgian army for “modernization,” spoke of Georgian troops as a rabble that could not be trained.

Apparently, the ideas of "modernization" of the armies of the post-Soviet republics still haunt hot heads in Washington. Now Brooks, executing a command from above, wanted to test the skill of the American military "innovator teachers" in the Tajik and Uzbek armies. On the one hand, this may be a matter of serious concern: they say, the American troops are again trying to impose Russia and arrange another provocation against it. On the other hand, the sympathy of Americans can only be felt. With all due respect to the Uzbek and Tajik servicemen, it is worth noting that these are not the people who can venture into a real confrontation with the army of the Russian Federation. Even foreign independent experts recognize, speaking in diplomatic language, that the army of Tajikistan itself is a poorly integrated formation, in which quite often there is such a phenomenon as overt clan and fragmentation. Apparently, Americans are poorly aware of both the Tajik and the Uzbek mentality. Military training, frankly, is not the strongest side of these peoples. It turns out that the Americans purposefully choose for themselves those who, when they see a strong opponent on the battlefield, immediately turn "to the hut." Or is it just another self-confidence on the part of Washington - they say, even from these “warriors” we will make a legion.

In general, it is difficult to imagine provocations by the Tajik troops against Russia, when the lion's share of the budget of Tajikistan consists of remittances sent by their fellow citizens who work in Moscow. After the incident with the released pilots, it became more than understandable.

But on the other hand, both Tajikistan and Uzbekistan do not want to miss the “lucrative” proposal from Washington. To get new weapons with almost nothing, or almost nothing from the point of view of the Asian "partners" would be a good option. In this situation, you can also attract the attention of the Russian side. Like, you will not invest in us, we will begin to cooperate with the United States - the position for the modern world is quite understandable.

The omniscient website WikiLeaks announced the secret report of one of the American diplomats, which contains the following information: Dushanbe is ready to provide the American military with a base and a number of objects of interest to the Pentagon. At the same time, as the first part of the “pre-New Year's American gift”, the servicemen of the army of Tajikistan received from the Pentagon about three hundred sets of equipment and equipment for quick response units. The former DOSAAF airfield Fakhrabad has already been turned by the Americans into a military base.

In all likelihood, both Karimov and Rakhmon are not averse to participating in a double game, while not paying attention to possible consequences.

With this, it’s time for Rakhmonov and Karimov to embed the slope well so that the head does not swing!

On the day when the last Russian soldier leaves Tajikistan (I'm talking about 201 military bases), there will be 1993 again. Rakhmonov has already forgotten how he sat in the basement of the headquarters of the 92nd 201st mechanized infantry division? He's a simple huckster! And if it flares up here - amers he already tries ... r will not be needed. In 93, it was not E.Sh. Rakhmonov who was the first to propose to end the madness, but a relapsed thief! And the rest of the so-called "Tajik elite" either dumped together (the majority in Russia), or gladly cut each other out, by the way, in the truest sense of the word bully .

Serge, hello! This does not sit still until raking in full! Such is their dumbhead nature! Duplicity, it’s in their mentality. But, after all, Tajiks, in general, without good neighborly relations with Russia are kirdyk! No, it’s numb! And it seems to our time for ours to tighten customs relations with corrupt Uzbeks!

I think that the armies of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan do not need this weapon. They will not be able to master, but they can earn extra money.

Again, nothing new, it's just that a long-standing situation has finally taken shape, which will allow discarding illusions about our two "friends" to pursue a more adequate policy towards them and express an attitude towards them that corresponds to reality, Tajikistan has never been an independent state at all, apparently even now will go to one of the neighbors or begin to split up.
To combat drug trafficking, IMHO, a number of very unfriendly steps must be taken with respect to Tajikistan, and now in the light of their turn to the United States, it will be morally easier to do this.

This is until the first breakdown of this equipment, then it turns out that to carry out a major overhaul of Abrams alone is not enough and the whole budget of the Ministry of Defense of Tajikistan smile

Why are you selling the lights of democracy to Gerych, and the Tajik guest workers only transport it, then the FSKN catches them, takes the gerach and bans them, and then the FSKN director takes out a thick book and shows reporters what kind of heroin he has in his department lol

    Greetings to all.
I believe that Afghanistan is on its way to collapse. It is logical to assume that the northern territories where ethnic Uzbeks and Tajiks live will depart to them. Therefore, they will need to be protected. This is what this weapon is for.
The collapse of Afghanistan is likely to entail the collapse of Pakistan, as the Taliban (Pashtuns) desire for unification is obvious.
From Pakistan, the allocation of Baluchistan (Balochi) is possible. And through the territory of the Baluchis - the port of Gwadar, the main export of Iranian oil to China is taking place.
    Why do it?
The Taliban have a conflict with the Shiites of Iran - recently there was an act of vandalism against Shiite shrines. Therefore, you can push the Taliban and Iran.
In addition, the withdrawal of US troops from Iraq is coming. Consequently, Iraq will be divided. The Sunnis of Iraq will be supported by the Saudis and face the Shiites of Iraq, which Iran will support. There will be an opportunity to organize a war on Iran on two fronts, and with the wrong hands.
In addition, with the collapse of Iraq, real preconditions for the creation of Kurdistan will arise, which will entail even greater destabilization of Syria (or vice versa, first destabilization, then creation).
And Kurdistan is oil. Moreover, if you pull out the Kurdish part from Syria and grab a little more, then Kurdistan will get access to the Mediterranean Sea and the opportunity to export oil from the Middle East not through the Persian Gulf. So Iran’s closure of the Strait of Hormuz is no longer so scary.
So, Tajiks and Uzbeks do not need to fight with Russia. Between themselves, they, and even the Kyrgyz, would not have fought for the Ferghana Valley ...
    Read World Politics and Resources.
    Something like that.

the Taliban are not only Pashtuns, but also Tajiks, Uzbeks, in some places, Persians. They don’t have a common historical homeland, and they don’t really wait for these animals in their original biotopes (there’s nothing to feed them with), I think that Afghanistan is far from collapse, it’s never was a single state, tribal territories and clan estates.

In theory, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan just need to wait, the Americans have nowhere to go, weapons will come back more expensive than to produce new ones.
