Syrian troops took control of around 120 sq. km of territory in the north of Lattakia - near the border with Turkey

Syrian News Agency SANA, referring to sources in government forces in Syria, reports on the new success of the army and the militia of the SAR. Under the control of troops took the city of Ar-Rabia and the village of Ar-Rauda, located in the province of Latakia. It is reported that over the past two days, the Syrian troops, with the support of the militia, managed to knock out militants from 16 settlements in the north of Lattakia and take control over more than 120 square kilometers territories in the Syrian-Turkish border area.

A spokesman for the SAR army command says that the liberation of Ar-Rabia can be considered a strategic success for the Syrian troops, since it was in this locality that the largest transport hub was located, which was used by militants of terrorist groups for their own purposes. Taking control of Ar-Rabia allows the Syrian army to block all major supply routes for terrorists in northwestern Syria, where illegal traffic across the border with Turkey was the most intense.

The command of the Syrian troops circulated an appeal to illegal armed groups with the requirement of the immediate addition of weapons. The appeal says that members of the illegal armed groups may surrender to representatives of the competent authorities, laying down their arms and settling their legal status within the framework of Syrian legislation.

Information Agency RIA News reports that the offensive in the north of Syria, representatives of the militia forces carried out, wearing T-shirts depicting the deceased Russian pilot, Lieutenant Colonel Oleg Peshkov.

We needed to start helping Syria a couple of years ago, you see, and by this time the whole country would have been cleansed of dishonesty.

That's what the Americans started to fuss about and talk about a ground operation. Again they want to attach themselves to someone else's victory and then proudly declare that it was they who defeated ISIS. Political adventurers.

The representative of the command of the army of the SAR says that the liberation of Ar-Rabiya can be considered a strategic success of the Syrian forces, since it was in this settlement that the largest transport hub was used by militants of terrorist groups for their own purposes.

Well, the coordinated work of our and the Syrian general staff is clearly visible.
The work is carried out taking into account all the nuances of the war in Syria.
Erdogan will have to be tight now, all the terror trash from LATAKIA will now settle with him.

So far, nothing portends, on the contrary. The Turks took Silopi and from there they chant offensive chants "We will kill all Kurds as we killed Armenian".

It’s really hard for Turkish Kurds now, Barzani spoke out for Turkey and closed the border with Iraq, moreover, his troops caught and trapped those who were hiding in Iraq and transferred to Turkey, some Syrian Kurds also made a deal with Turkey and closed the border, stopped transferring weapons.

“Divide and rule” has not been canceled anywhere, and the Turks, for a minute, are not pedal suckers and Kurds cannot be regarded as a single force.

Turkish Kurds are now really hard

In reality, as the Syrians have until recently, there is not enough heavy weapons and personnel trained to use it. But it seems that in Kamyshly, the responsible Assad official met with the leadership of the PKK, it is likely that the trophy weapons "transferred by Assad" will flow under Diarbakir. So everything is still ahead - "Only when everyone dies, only then the Great Game will end"

"most likely they will lose part of their territories, which may stick to the Turks" ///

This is unlikely. Any increase in Turkey
will be greeted by all the Arabs of the Middle East very
hostilely. The second Ottoman Empire they do not want.
Perhaps the Syrian Kurds will gain wide autonomy,
(and Iraqi - even an independent state).
Perhaps eastern Syria (Raqqa and around) will also become
autonomy within Syria. Alavite power from the coast
      local Arabs are not happy.
