“The servicemen hit moving targets imitating military equipment, as well as ground forces units of the conventional enemy. The shooting was carried out from the standard armament of the BTR-70, automatic and manual grenade launchers AGS-17 and RPG-7, as well as all types of small weapons", - says the release.
A total of 400 military personnel and more than 30 units of equipment were employed in the exercises. More than 100 thousand ammunition was spent on firing.
And in the Barents Sea, the minesweepers Solovki Junga and Kotelnich work out their training tasks.
“The personnel conducted tactical exercises on the use of technical means and electronic warfare facilities in the conduct of hostilities against surface ships and carried out artillery firing at the naval target,” the press service of the Federation Council reported.
“Also, the crews of minesweepers in various marine polygons have completed a single preparation of a surface ship, including anchoring and organizing an anti-submarine sabotage defense of a ship on an unprotected raid with a preventive grenade launcher,” the press service said. After a single training, the ships will work out joint actions as part of tactical groups.
