UAV

Drone aviation will be transferred from the Russian Air Force to the Ground Forces. According to A. Zelin, "unmanned aircraft is still part of the Air Force, but there is a decision by the General Staff to transfer it to the Ground Forces."

In the future, unmanned aerial tactical-level aviation is planned to be transferred to the air base, which is directly subordinate to the commanders of military districts.

Helicopters

As part of the state armament program up to 2020, more than 1 thousand helicopters will be purchased for the Air Force. “Now we are getting into service Mi-28H, Ka-52 helicopters and Mi-8 military transport combat helicopters of the new modifications,” said A. Zelin.

According to him, "we are extremely interested in restoring the production of heavy transport helicopters Mi-26, in particular, as tankers to provide ground troops with fuel and lubricants."

Air base

The number of army air bases will increase from 8 to 14 by 2020.

LAW "Morpheus"

The Russian military-industrial complex is developing a new near-range “Morfei” air defense system. “This is a short-range system with a maximum range of fire up to 5 km, it is designed to cover military facilities and has both active and passive means of combat,” said A. Zelin.

The development of the new air defense system is engaged in the Almaz-Antey Air Defense Concern. It is expected that the new air defense system will go into service with the Russian Air Force in 2015 year.

ZRPK "Pantsir-С1"

The next six air defense systems "Pantsir-С1" will soon arrive at the disposal of the Operational-strategic Command (USC) of the Aerospace Defense (WKO).

A. Zelin said that the RF Air Force had already received four Pantsir-C 1 air defense systems.

C-400

By the end of the year, the Russian army will have four C-400 anti-aircraft missile regiments.

“We received a second anti-aircraft missile regiment C-400 this year as part of the Air Force. Last week, he began to carry out combat duty. This year we will receive two more C-400 regiments, ”said A. Zelin.

The commander-in-chief noted that the delivery plans shifted somewhat for reasons beyond the control of the Ministry of Defense. “C-400 has problems with long-range missiles. Nevertheless, there is understanding with the industry, and I am optimistic, ”he said.

A. Zelin said that the Air Force Command insists on building a new plant for the production of anti-aircraft missile weapons. “We are asking this question before the leadership of the Almaz-Antey Air Defense Concern,” said Zelin.

Eh, not all that glitters is gold. Let us hope that from all of the above, it will go into the arsenal of the army. In general, it seems that this is yet another idle talk invented by Perdyuk and his brethren to reassure journalists and people.

And why all the same SU-35, because the SU-47 is a more promising option? On it, for some reason, they completely put an end to it? belay

The Su-47 plane does not exist in nature. There is a prototype with a reverse sweep wing, with the symbol S-47. It is used as a flying laboratory to test new design solutions, materials and technologies. They are not going to launch it in a series yet.

The Su-35 is a modernization of the Su-27 to replace them. As for the Su-47 golden eagle, it was a promising 5th generation aircraft, but with the collapse of the USSR, work on it slowed down. When the Su-47 returned to work, it became obsolete, all the new developments embodied in it transferred to the prototype T-50 (possibly su-50 or su-57). Obviously they refused the reverse sweep of the wing, I think the designers will justify it soon.

In part, you repeated my previous comment. Partially wrong about the fact that the S-47 (and not the Su) was developed as the 5th generation. And one more amendment. Fighters in the USSR-Russia never go with even numbers. So the Su-50 will obviously not be appropriated. I lean towards the more mundane 37 (there was such an instance called "terminator"), or 39.

Serdyukov and his team need to be replaced. They have already done everything so that the army and navy do not come to their senses for a long time, and now it seems they have taken up the military-industrial complex. The military-industrial complex shouts: "Give orders !!!" And they are not. Already the eighth month of 2011. It is necessary at this time to deal with orders for the next year and the future. I wouldn't be surprised if Serdyukov escapes and turns out to be a CIA general.

    merkawa,
At four pieces a year, it hurts very slowly. When the next new thing appears, this one will already be covered with a copper basin. And the old factory is probably easier to destroy if there the equipment was still exported from Germany in 1945
