The fact that they occur, and constantly - the protesters are reluctant to admit. “Yes, something happens every evening. Constantly heard shots, someone is trying to weapons provoke someone. But do you need it? ”One of the protesters directly told our correspondent.
According to the fighters of self-defense, certain groups constantly provoke opposition. So, one fighter who doesn’t take off his body armor all day long, carrying a pistol behind him, said that not so long ago the shooting occurred not only in the KSCA building, but also on the Maidan. “Yes, there was a 30 man, some with Makarov pistols, in masks. Tried to break through. I had to shoot in the air, and then right over the heads, so that the sleeves fell by the collar, ”one of the participants in the events told us anonymously. As it turned out, the group tried to break through, which is associated with the re-capture of the KSCA on the eve of February 18. By the way, a shootout in the KSCA itself did take place at night on March 7 - moreover, with automatic gunfire. This was reported to us by one of the fighters of self-defense Valentin. “There were seven or eight shots, maybe 10. The shooting started at night, I even jumped out of the tent at the shots, it felt like they were shooting over my ear! The line was clearly audible, apparently shooting from Kalash. As it turned out in the morning, the Right Sector fighters clashed with unknown masked men in the KSCA. What exactly happened, is unknown, but it ended in victory for the PS. I haven't heard anything about the dead, ”Valentine notes. In general, such cases are not rare. Self-defense fighters make an amazing face when asking about shooting, asking again - “what kind of shooting”? “There are always some kind of clashes, provocations, we have to stop them,” say the self-defense fighters. They are in full readiness around the clock, on the Maidan itself the tension is felt. At the same time, hundreds of members admit that they don’t want to leave the center of Kiev until they feel that the revolution has triumphed and will not feel real changes in the country. So far, they are unhappy with the new appointments of the authorities and believe that their work is not completed.

Some hundreds exist by themselves, some are supported by some political forces, others by others. Some have the support of right-wing forces, others have territorial communities. Relations are complex, there are constantly clashes that are fueled by some politicians who, well, let's say, the Maidan is no longer needed, and it could be “drained,” the fighter admits. According to Ruslan, there are many weapons on Maidan. “Weapons on the Maidan are enough. Basically - a trophy, which was captured from the fighters "Berkut" and BB. Collisions occur constantly. This is said little, because civilians know this is not necessary, in principle. In the afternoon it is calm here, everyone walks, tourists come here. But at night, less than three and without arms, we try not to walk. Provocations happen constantly, including with shooting. But there were no injured and dead until recently, ”the member of Self-Defense notes. As for the shooting at the Kyiv City State Administration, Ruslan is sure that alcohol was the cause. “As far as I know from the words of other fighters, the guy just got drunk and opened fire on his comrades, the medical service then talked about two dead, but I myself did not see the bodies. On the Maidan rigidly runs dry law, but he, apparently, has broken it, ”the fighter believes. By the way, such incidents do not leak into the Interior Ministry, and the police themselves are not very interested in what is happening. “We understand ourselves. We do not trust the Ministry of Internal Affairs, we do not think that they can be objective. If someone breaks something, we immediately deliver it to the commandant's office. As for the one who shot at the KSCA, he was detained, but he is not known where he is, it is unlikely that he was extradited to the authorities, ”Ruslan believes.
By the way, recently a detachment of masked people attacked the Kivo-Svyatoshinsky prosecutor's office in Kiev. About 30 masked men in camouflage uniforms broke into the prosecutor’s office. Unknowns were armed with metal sticks and baseball bats. Without hesitation, they grabbed one of the prosecutors and beat him, demanding to get out of Kiev. Who these people were, whether it was another provocation or the actions of some of the right-wing groups, is still unknown. But, one way or another, but conflicts in the center of Kiev occur constantly. It is not surprising - after all, in the center of the city not for the first month there is a real freemen, organized according to the principle of Zaporizhzhya Sich and numbering thousands of men armed and battle-hardened. And it is obvious that until it becomes better (i.e., it doesn’t become the way they think is the best) - they will not go away. And this means that we still have a lot of alarming news from Kreschatik. The main thing that no one else was hurt.
