Poland scrambled emergency aircraft in connection with a series of strikes by the Russian Armed Forces on targets in Ukraine
In Poland, duty aircraft were scrambled to monitor the situation in neighboring Ukraine. This was reported by the operational command of the Polish armed forces.
According to the Polish military, duty aircraft were scrambled in connection with active strikes by the Russian Armed Forces on Ukraine. Now the Polish military aviation is engaged in monitoring Russian activity on the territory of a neighboring state.
The command of the Polish army warned the population of the south-eastern regions of the country about an increase in noise levels due to the flights of military aircraft. Then the Polish military announced that aviation operations in the country’s airspace had been stopped due to the completion of missile strikes by the Russian Armed Forces on Ukrainian territory.
It is noted that, in addition to aircraft of the Polish Air Force, aviation from the countries of the North Atlantic Alliance, based in the country, also took off. Now NATO is strengthening its military presence in Eastern European countries, including Poland and the Baltic republics, and this is also presented as “protection” of these states from the imaginary “aggressive plans” of the Russian side.
The Polish press, in turn, notes the intensification of attacks by the Russian army on the logistics infrastructure of Ukraine, including railways. That is, in addition to power plants, as well as the most important targets in the form of military facilities, the Russian Armed Forces have now taken up the railway communication of Ukraine.
