American experts: First we transfer Abrams tanks to Ukraine, then we are surprised that the Russians destroy them
American broadcasts are discussing the emergence of information that the Pentagon “recommended” the withdrawal Tanks "Abrams" from the battlefield during the Ukrainian conflict. "Military Review" in one of its recent materials reported that the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine followed the "recommendations" from overseas and took the remaining combat-ready Abrams away from the front line so that they would not become targets for Russian drones.
In the States, experts were generally critical of this development of events. The main complaint is why tanks should be transferred to Ukraine at all if, after several knocked out tanks, a decision is made to withdraw them outside the combat zone.
Adding to the questions in this context is such a nuance as the approval of a new package of military assistance to Ukraine.
A few comments on this matter from American experts and ordinary users:
Let us recall that the Americans handed over to the Kyiv regime more than 30 Abrams and several mine clearance vehicles based on these tanks. To date, Russian troops have destroyed at least 6 Abrams, most of them west of Avdeevka, where these tanks were previously abandoned by Commander-in-Chief Syrsky to try to regain control of the city.
