A large batch of Ukrainian-made armored vehicles entered service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the equipment was transferred to the 225th separate assault battalion. The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reports this.
The transfer of 40 Kozak armored vehicles took place in the rear regions of Ukraine under ceremonial conditions. The Kyiv authorities staged a “show-off”, driving the entire Ukrainian Defense Minister Umerov, as well as the head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Bergilevich, to the transfer ceremony. Judging by the photo, the equipment was transferred in some kind of hangar so that it could not be seen from the air.
According to the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, the 225th battalion received 15 Kozak-2M1 armored vehicles and 25 Kozak-5 multi-purpose armored vehicles. All the equipment was produced by the Ukrainian NPO Praktika, but at which plant it was not reported. But it is emphasized that all armored vehicles comply with NATO standards.
