Explosion in Odessa: The Russian Armed Forces are trying to knock out the infrastructure through which weapons and ammunition can be delivered to the Armed Forces of Ukraine
31
A powerful explosion was reported in Odessa. At the same time, the Ukrainian side has not yet specifically reported on the arrival.
After the explosion, a fire broke out, which several crews of the State Emergency Service are trying to extinguish. According to the latest data, the explosion occurred at the port infrastructure.
It is reported from the scene that electricity has gone out in part of Odessa.
Earlier, attacks were carried out on the port infrastructure of Nikolaev.
All these options for fire impact fit into a single outline of the elimination of enemy infrastructure capable of receiving military cargo by sea. This is extremely important in view of the fact that the West is once again preparing large supplies of military equipment and ammunition to the Kyiv regime as part of an extensive military aid package worth almost $61 billion approved by the US Congress.
For obvious reasons, if supply channels weapons will not be blocked on the battlefield, this will cause significant problems and prolong the conflict, leading to new casualties. Therefore, isolating the front from supplying Ukrainian troops is a priority task of the Russian Armed Forces. And disabling the enemy’s port infrastructure is part of this task, and an extremely important one at that.
