Russian troops, building on their success in the Ocheretino region, advanced further south, taking control of at least another 8 square kilometers of territory. At the same time, Novobakhmutovka came under the control of the RF Armed Forces.
The Ukrainian side reports that the western part of the village is under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. However, even if so, we are talking about no more than 5% of the territory, which the enemy can hardly really control within the boundaries of a populated area.
According to other sources, the remnants of the Ukrainian Armed Forces units, which had previously retreated to Novobakhmutovka, including from Ocheretino, have already left it.
Continuing the offensive in this direction, Russian troops are conducting a fairly wide coverage of the enemy group, which continues to remain in the area of the village of Berdychi. At the same time, artillery and aviation, which not only “thin out” the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Ocheretino-Berdychi area, but also cut off the reserves that Commander-in-Chief Syrsky continues to throw towards the LBS in attempts to restrain the advance of the Russian Armed Forces. Under fire, enemy positions in the area of the village of Solovyovo.
Let us recall that earlier, in the same direction, Russian troops liberated Semyonovka and entered the settlement of Novokalinovo. At the same time, the liberation of Ocheretino also means the transfer of key heights on the ground to the control of the Russian army.
